Website of the Week

If you are ever looking for some new fonts, patterns for your blog, themes for your website or just some inspiration for your online presence I recommend CreativeMarket.com! What a great site! I got lost in it for hours yesterday morning and I'm not kidding. There are so many great images you can purchase, fonts, and even freebies each week. 

I love all of the options for things like icons for your blog, and hundreds of fonts available too. If you want your site to be unique, this is a great place to start shopping around. Thinking of how to brand your shop or business cards? They've got you covered there too. You can design your own business cards or create your very own icon. Many of the options do require certain software to edit them, so make sure you pay attention in each of the listings to see what you'll need. I love how each of the listings includes this little info box that tells you what each option includes.

Some matte hematite rounds on top of these awesome Yellow Turquoise Rectangles, on paddle headpins. Swingy and modern!


It's rare that I would put 2 Humblebeads into one piece but these just work so well together and I love that little pop of lavender in the flower lentil! And the Gold Mum connector worked well with all of the other elements! This was a fun piece to assemble!

This little owl set was one that I got at Bead Fest from Karen at Starry Road Studio. I loved how it looked next to that box of Magatama seed beads from Twisted Sistah Beads and resulted in this statement necklace!


I cut into that beautiful strand of Mexican Jasper and showcased it in this bracelet with copper chain and toggle. I wanted the jasper to stand out and added a few embellishments for extra movement!

The BEAD FEST Round Up

Whew! What a trip! Drove the 5 hours down to Philadelphia on Friday and met up with AmyNCognito on the showroom floor. We shopped til we dropped, literally- the entire weekend long. I'd have to say this was one of the most fun BeadFests ever.  There just isn't anything better than hanging out, laughing and shopping with friends who have your same interests and same sense of humor.  It just doesn't get better than that!!  Friday we met up with all of the Creative Bead Chat peeps at our annual dinner at Legal Seafoods. Saturday night was the annual Meet and Greet at the Courtyard Marriott. Saturday night was fun, but I indulged a bit too much in the wine and Sunday morning I woke up and seriously thought I was going to die from the hangover headache from Hell. Nothing a little water and Aleve can't help!! The 5 hour drive home was pretty long though and I was quite happy to finally get there.

Well without further ado, here are the beads I brought home.

Bead Fest or Bust!

That's right. It's that time of year again! Snuck right up on me, it did!   I am looking forward to getting there to see Amy and all of my BeadFest friends. Unfortunate to announce the budget is verrrrry small. Eeensy Weensy tiny small. Especially since I went to Bead and Button AND California and didn't budget very well. So this trip should be interesting. I have a list.  yep.


I am working off a list and hopefully I stick to my own guns and only get what I really need.

Amy and I promised each other that we would help each other stick to our guns. No buying Lampwork discs. And no buying outside the budget.

In case, that doesn't work out- well-
I've got a box of wine ready to go as well.  Well because, if you know anything about me and Amy, we likes to drink wine.

So there.





Also packed - some earrings for Leslie Pope. And a big ol' showy necklace for Karen Totten's booth. My Swap partner's beads for the Saturday night bead swap. That I will still need to get together.
I've got my Paypal card.  Lotsa copies of my tax id. The gas tank is full. My bag is packed.

I'm ready.

NEW Anthropologie Design Boards 2014 Edition

I spent some time this morning putting together some new Anthropologie design boards. I picked out some outfits that I think go well with some of my current jewelry designs and put them into collages using PicMonkey.com. All jewelry is from Lorelei Eurto Jewelry. I can absolutely see myself wearing this sassy outfit. I love that comfy tee, paired with my Wonderful Moth Necklace and those shoes. OH! The SHOES!!! So cute.




I probably wouldn't be able to pull off this little romper but isn't it cute with those shoes!? I picked out some sweet eyewear, and a clutch to match. And the magnetic wrap bracelet ties everything together!





Pretty in Pink! Inspired by my sister Franny who I know would totally rock this outfit! Pretty little short sleeve flowy top over a pale pink tank. I love the shorts and everything matches perfectly with my Urban chic bracelet.




This dress - it was love at first sight!  I paired it with some new Harbinger Collection earrings, a leather handbag, cute hat, and amazing mary jane heels! Definitely love this outfit!
