I took over Edward M. Erdalac’s Blog

I hijacked Ed’s blog. Edward is the living authority on ‘Weird Westerns.’ He writes cool stories about a demon hunter in the old west, a voodoo doctor on a slaver’s ship, and Van Helsing’s adventures in America. To see what I wrote on his blog, and learn more about Edward M. Erdalac’s awesome stories, follow this link.

Monster Ink by Timothy Baker

I’ve made no attempts to hide my respect and appreciation for Timothy Baker’s written works. As luck would have it, I’ve been published in three anthologies with Timothy. (However, all three have recently gone out of print.) I’ve heard that we are again going to be printed together in an upcoming anthology named, That Hoodoo, Voodoo, That You Do.

Earlier this year, I’d read Timothy’s debut novel, Hungry Ghosts Path of the Dead. It was a fun read about what happened in Tibeton the same night as...

Keeping it Simple

There is a fair bit going on, so I’m going to approach this post in a simplistic fashion.

The revised version of The Wrong Way Down is near completion. I have seen the proof paperback copy and there are some minor adjustments to be made. I’m expecting a December 1st release.

Here is an interview with me and Pamela Cowan, who I collaborated with forthe lead short story, Best Friends, written for the Northwest Independent Writers’ Association’s fourth anthologytitledUnderground. Here is the link....

On hiring mercenaries—another free sample

Here is another little piece of The Wrong Way Down. This Kickstarter is almost over, so why not show off a little more of the story? A couple chapters back, Priestess Popalia and her trusty guide Wynkkur had been saved by two mercenary ‘brothers,’ Seth and Raenyl. This nice selection shows the undercurrents that will eventually cause lots of problems to come. Enjoy!
