Dog sitting this past weekend reminded me of how much I miss running with a canine buddy. Their never ending joy for propelling themselves down the trail calls us to always revel in the simple and enjoy the run.

Last rays on the Tahoe Rim Trail. Hard to believe it’s the first time I’ve set foot on this spectacular trail, a continuous 170 mile loop above Lake Tahoe. A trail runner’s dream!
