My Fairy name….
She is cheerful and friendly.
She lives in forests of oak and lime trees.
She is only seen in the mist of an early morning.
She wears pretty autumnal leaf colours and has transparent green wings like a cicada.

Surprise tidbit..
I wanted to share one of my tidbits of inspiration to write a novel about angels called Visions. So here is a bit of the beginning I hope to incorporate.
I hold a secret. A secret no one should ever have to bear.
The secret of how our world will endThe Book of Revelations claims that our world will in end chaos, a war between good and evil, that parts true.
Some say the creator will send his only son once again to save us..
What if the books were wrong?
The war rages on between the light and dark everyday..
We are the guardians of the human race.
We are angels.
Writer's Inspiration
If it's one thing I've noted in historical romances and in general with time travel is that it's about going back in time. It's about a period that we cherished and adored. There is something about history that pulls you in. It's one of the reasons that I wrote Consoling Angel.
I remember writing it in my Creative Writing class while doing my Bachelor's degree at University of Phoenix. I already loved to write and was actively pursuing it beyond my education and jobs. We were told by our professor to write a short story. So what was I going to do? Then I remembered what I always wanted to do. I am a big of fan of the early fifties movies and I had a huge love for James Dean movies. In writing it, I had to do some small research and remember that I had to tell it at the perspective of the heroine, Mira. If it's one thing we all remember is that we were young once and we all wanted to go back in time to fix a wrong. It reminds us of Back To The Future right?
So what's inspires you to write? For me, writing has always been a good way of expressing myself. I find that expressing yourself is not only good for you, but good for your soul. Our lives are a huge part of why we write, maybe we have something in our lives that we want to talk about and one of the best ways of doing that is through writing. For me life is a huge inspiration, there are moments that I write about, time periods that I love. There is always a good story in us, in our history, and around us. Storytelling has been in the human existence since the beginning. Myths and many religions have great stories that we all know and love. Storytelling is in our DNA and as a writer, for us it cannot be denied to tell a good story. Stories come from deep in our cores with muses that tell us to keep writing. Even characters that won't leave us alone until we tell their story.
So what do I do when I run out of ideas or am having that dreaded writers block? I tend to go back to some of my earlier works and see what I can work on. I also take some time out to take a walk, hear music, watch some television, and read books. If you back to your roots you tend to get it all back. So keep writing and tell us what inspires you and what keeps you on track when the nasty writer's block.

My Favorite Charities
How many times have we heard no funding available for schools? I am sure with today's economy that we hear it all the time. When back to school was in session and parents were trying to buy for their kids, it was all over the news. Parents struggling to find items for their children. Parents had to shop/search for bargains in order for their child to progress at school. I found this ridiculous.
I know growing up myself there was not enough funding in my high school's art department and yet it was the department that I thought understood me better than any other class I took. Unfortunately, the school is still in the same situation.
So I ask all the fellow writer's looking at this blog, take a look at this great website DonorsChoose.org. It's a website whose mission is to help people across the nation fund their projects. Projects range from helping build libraries for young children to getting new technology to teach young adults. The great thing about this site is you can search by state or your interests!
Also know that your donation is tax deductible and you are doing good for your country. No donation too small. Helping others is good for the soul.
This is such a great organization. It's all about ending poverty and other global causes. Currently they are trying to end HIV in children by 2015. They make very simple things to do very easy to donate whether it's buying a T-shirt or a bracelet, it contributes while signing their petition.
Join (RED) and the One organization goes hand in hand. They service the same global causes. Easy to help by buying some of their products from a variety of vendors such as Monster, Nike, Converse, Gap, etc.
St. Jude is one of my favorite charities. It is helping provide care for those who need with when a child has cancer. They have such a huge success rate in helping children. They also have various ways of donating whether buying through of the stores such as Kay's Jewelry, Online, eBay and now through Facebook.

Mira did not know what she had in store the day she fell asleep while wanting to escape her current situation. Overcoming a death from someone so close and burying herself in school and an internship has kept her somewhat awake and alive. An admiration for the actor, James Dean was all that kept the memory of her father alive. If she couldn't be with her father, she could at least remember what they shared an admiration for together. She always wanted to meet James Dean… she didn't know it would come true. Be careful what you wish for. It may just come true.
Excerpt:
My life couldn't be more complete. As we reached the apartments, I slowly got off the bike, surprised at myself that I had done this. Ordinarily, Id never get on a motorcycle. James leaned over and caressed my cheek. Before I could open my mouth to tell him what was to happen to him, he gave me a quick peck on the lips. I couldn't let James walk away, not now.
Something in me grasped his wrist; my breath caught in my throat. I no longer cared about the rain. I must have looked like a drowned rat to him. I have to tell you something, I blurted as I waited for his reaction.
James smiled, then chuckled as he caressed my face. The rain was preventing me from seeing clearly. Sweetheart, its raining and youre soaked. I hope this is important. Pulling him toward me, I faced him. I could change history. I could have him live out his life as he was meant to. If I couldnt save my father, I could save him.
In the future, when you become famous, please be careful. Remember this: there will be a day that you are off to a race. You will not see a car until its too late. James, please promise me. It could mean your life. I must have sounded like a complete and total idiot to him. Geez! I think I watched Back To The Future too many times. I sounded like Marty talking to the professor about his impending death.
Chuckling, he shook his head, expelling the rain off his head and onto me. Laughter erupted between us as I covered my face. He then cupped my face, kissed my forehead. Are you sure youre not an angel? I cannot promise anything, but baby, I can promise Ill see you tomorrow. Ill pick you up here and you can ditch your responsibilities. Ride with me.
Sighing, now I knew how all those girls felt when they looked at him. What an offer that would be. Ditch school to ride with the man who was loved by so many. I was determined hed listen to me. Gripping his hands from my face, I gazed into his eyes. Im serious!
Before I could utter another word, his lips descended on mine. My body went toward him and melted. I couldnt help but respond as I brought him closer. I was lost in his warm lips as they caressed mine. Lingering near my lips, he breathed, I know you are. Then, winking as he kissed me again, smiling that beautiful smile of his, How else can my angel guard me if she isnt with me?
