Help Fund Moonbot Studios Next Game on Kickstarter!

Moonbot studios is one of my favorite animation studios. These are the great story tellers that brought us The Flying Books of Mr. Lessmore, The Numberlys, and Rise of the Guardians.I also got to meet one of the writers and founders, Williams Joyce during BEA last year. He was amazing to speak with. Such a creative with wonderful storytelling skills.

Their work is great for children and if you want this cool game called the Golem they have coming, then fund them! You won’t regret it!

My Allbooks Reviews INTERVIEW!

Allbooks Reviews INTERVIEW: Click here to see more.

Please state your name and location. (city and State or Province, Country)

Denise Alicea from CT.

Tell us the title and publisher of your book:

Dark Castle Lords, LLC. DCL (Dark Castle Lords) Publications, LLC was started by Pamela Seres & Stuart Bazga. Their love of castles, mysteries, & romance brought them together to create DCL.

Tell us about yourself:

I was born in Manhattan and rasied in CT. I have loved reading as a child and started writing at the age of 15 years old. I love technology, the arts, and of course books.

When was the book released?:

This book was released Nov 2011.

This was book was released last year.

Give us an overview of your book.

Mira did not know what she had in store the day she fell asleep while wanting to escape her current situation. Overcoming a death from someone so close and burying herself in school and an internship has kept her somewhat awake and alive. An admiration for the actor, James Dean was all that kept the memory of her father alive. If she couldn’t be with her father, she could at least remember what they shared an admiration for together. She always wanted to meet James Dean… she didn’t know it would come true. Be careful what you wish for. It may just come true.

What inspired you to write this book?

I had a love of James Dean early on and this story came about in for a creative writing class while finishing my bachelor’s degree. So I thought why not put the two together.

How is your book different from other books in this genre?

I don’t think it’s different, but I did enjoy writing it.

Where can people buy your book?

Amazon , Nook, All Romance

Are you working on another book? If so when do you expect it to be published?

There is another short story coming, more romance then young adult, Called Destined. It will be coming out soon.

If published traditionally, tell us how you benefited:

I really enjoyed working with DCL. It has taught me a lot of how writing occurs and its processed trough a small publisher.

Can you share one of your marketing successes with us?

I would have to say that one of my marketing successes would be using this site, writing to blogs to review, talking to my friends and learning about a site called Freedo to promote my book as well.

How did you find Allbooks Reviews and what are you hoping for in your relationship with us?

I was recommended this site via email by Allbooks reviews marketing.

Was the low cost a surprise? What other things would you like Allbooks Reviews to offer writers?

I think the low cost was great and the service was executed very well. I would recommend any author to come here to seek a review.

Thank you for this interview and best of luck with your book.

All Books Review Gave a Great Review for Consoling Angel!

Denise Alicea’s short “Consoling Angel” is one of those quick, fresh reads that make you smile and squeal throughout the entire plot then leave you all giddy by the end. I strongly recommend this story for young adults who enjoy romance-based stories.

“Consoling Angel” is very short and sweet. Within its 24 pages, the plot centers around an adolescent female named Mira who has recently lost her father to cancer. Both her and her dad loved James Dean while growing up. One unexpected day, Mira travels back in time to the 1950s and by fate or chance, meets James Dean. He teaches her important meaning of life. From there, the story takes off into a fast-paced, romantic turn. The ending is wrapped well and gives the reader the satisfaction he or she will be craving for. I greatly enjoyed this story because of how the author distributed the passion and strength of love in such a short length of pages. I think of this novella as a dessert. “Consoling Angel” is a book that does not require much chewing. The conciseness and the speed of the romantic plotline make the story easy and sweet to read through. I personally liked it very much and would definitely read it again. ~  Iris Park, All Book Reviews.

Praise for Consoling Angel

“More fable than mystery, readers will find here a charming story that is perfect for anyone going through loss. ” Melissa Felton

“It is sweet and nostalgic and offers wonderful feelings of hope and love. ” N22v

“He is weaved into the story in such a way that it is not only believable, but works well for this plot and its characters. ” Selena Robins

“It’s been a long time since I’ve read a sweet romance, and this short was just the ticket to start me off in a new reading direction. In a day when everything “has” to be hot and hotter, when we’re seeing menages with 12 men and one woman, it was a refreshing blast of fresh air to see one young woman fall in love with one young man and make an homage to the past in doing so. Mira’s living a devastated present in 2008, even though she might put on a brave face. But memories of her father’s favorite movie take her into a past life of sorts, where she meets and falls for a young man named James. James Dean”. Camryn Rhys
