A Memory of Light : Epic Fantasy Review

A Memory of Light (Wheel of Time, #14; A Memory of Light, #3)A Memory of Light by Robert Jordan

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Death’s lighter than a feather. Keep those words in mind. They become a recurring theme throughout A Memory of Light, the final book in the Wheel of Time.

Wow. The final book in the Wheel of Time. When Jordan died, I never thought I would see, mourn, and celebrate this day. Through a friend of mine, I began this journey in 1991. Twenty-two years later, it is over.

It has been epic in every sense of the word.

People praise and others critic...

A chapter exceprt from my next epic fantasy release – Game of Souls.

Can you hate a man who seeks revenge for the murder of his wife and son? A man so loving, his grief had driven him to the edge of despair? A man so ambitious, he wanted to rule the world? A man so consumed by his goals, he lost focus on family before their demise? A man so ruthless he will kill women and children to claim his vengeance and his ultimate reward?

Winners of the Kindle FIre HD Contest

Thank you all who participated. I had fun doing this contest and look forward to holding many more. Without further ado, I’ll announce the winners.

It ended in a tie and I had to draw off between Kelly Lydel and Lee Anne Benjamin. The winner of the Kindle Fire HD with a few books from the Alexandria Publishing Group was ….. drum roll please …. Lee Anne Benjamin.

Kelly Lydel doesn’t leave empty handed and won the $25 Amazon gift card.

Congrats to both of you.

New Epic Fantasy WIP: The Sundered Souls

Prologue

One gold bit. Ten silver monarchs. A thousand silver bits. A small fortune to kill a legend.

Thartensen rolled the gilded coin across the top of his calloused hand from his pointer to little finger and back again. Golden light played off the King’s face imprinted upon its surface. With the spoon in his other hand, he scooped up a helping of pickled eggs, and stopped, his attention drifting to the picture on the tabletop. He took in the artist’s rendering of the raven-haired woman, her...

Cover Art for next fantasy book

The next Aegis of the Gods book is almost ready. There’s something to be said about good covers, and I have worked to try come up with covers that will draw my reader in. I hope my fans appreciate the effort. Covers have always been a drawing point for me, even now when I read primarily on my tablet. When browsing, I always go cover first before I read the blurb and a sample. I just feel the cover is important. Not as important as the contents of the book, as you truly can’t judge a book by i...
