Things and Elephants and Stuff and Apparently Another Cover Reveal Because Why Not?
Sticking to my commitment here of getting back to week-daily blogging. Ermagersh. Today has been a slog of marking, marking, and just for a change, some more marking. But the lovely twinny one has been keeping me sane: we did a voice-only Skype chat to keep each other company, and she set 10-minutely timers. I had to mark a paper (or as much as I could), and she had to edit pages in ten minute blocks.
We went for about three hours, and I got half a class set of essays marked plus, in a fit of...

I’m Alive, I Promise (With ALL The Cover Reveals!)
It’s taking me a bit to catch up from the craziness of this term, but I’m getting there. I have a couple more major things that need doing in the next two weeks (before I go to Vegas, OMG I AM GOING TO VEGAS IN LIKE JUST OVER A WEEK, ARGH!!!!) but once that’s done, my schedule looks much clearer until the end of the year.
Okay. I have one free weekend between now and 2019, but look: after Vegas, my schedule looks more like a normal person’s schedule, okay? It’s manageable. It’s not going to e...

Phew
So many deadlines. I survived the first round of parent-teacher nights, though, and got all my senior marking done on time, so that’s something.
Also, one of the exciting new projects that’s been in the works all year is finally starting to make its public appearance (slowly). I’ll post more about this tomorrow or next week when there are actually Things to share. Yay! Progress!
Phew.
…I just spent 5 minutes staring blankly trying to corral more thoughts for you, but it just ain’t happening....

Glittering, Glimmering, Gilded
Juggling is hard. It takes skill, and precision, and determination.
And when you can juggle six balls with ease, eight balls with confidence, ten balls with concentration, and are living life constantly at thirteen balls…
You can get hysterical when failure arrives.
Or you can toss your failures up in the air and watch them rain down like confetti as you bask in the glittering, glimmering, gilded fragments of your imperfection.
We are all human, after all.

Made It Monday: Bread! (A redux)
Welcome to #MadeItMonday, where I post something I’ve made in the previous week, and where you can join in and post something you made too! The rules are easy: post a pic somewhere of something you’ve made in the last week (ish; let’s say in the last month as the hard-and-fast) and tag it. Sit back and enjoy scrolling through all the beautiful things we’ve collectively created, and celebrate the fact that humans can be awesome!

CONSPIRACY THEORY OCEAN ANIMALS
I seem to be on an ocean kick at the moment. Possibly my subconscious collecting fodder for a way-down-the-road series I’m plotting. Who knows.
Anyway, I’m not super sold on the first few of these as real-life propositions, BUT they do make super shiny story fodder, and my subconscious is all *WILD GLEE* over them
