What to Do When You’re Freaking Out
I’m freaking out. I don’t know what to do. Everything is happening all at once. It’s all too much. So sometimes I just have to force myself to calm down, take a step back, look at my situation…and apply a piece of advice I was given a long time ago.

The Darkfire cover is done, at least for now. I’m so excited by it. I keep picturing it on an Amazon sales page, showing up in customers’ also-boughts, and how it will catch eyes.
I started outlining as well, though I couldn’t keep going very long because I was drop-dead tired. I still haven’t fully recovered from the insane sleep schedule I adopted toward the end of Mystic.

We looked at the home today. It was beyond beautiful. I mean, just beyond. Literally the only downside to the place is that it’s all tile and hardwood floors—gorgeous, but not exactly ideal for the newly-crawling and just-about-to-walk Desmond.
Finding a Home.
My wife and I are thinking pretty heavily about moving out of Los Angeles, and today we took a look at a home about an hour north of where we are now. There are mountains. There are trees. I brought you along for the ride so you could see the kind of home that really appeals to me.
