But I always end up zoning out and missing something. I even had to give up on doing

Poetry Corner: Rejection

I loved you.You rejected me.I don't know why.  Why did you hurt me?Why couldn't you love me?Was I so awful? Was I so bad? Did I make you cringe so?Am I not pretty?Am I not nice? Am I not good enough for your grace?Do you so hate to look at my face? My questions are infinite, you can't comprehend. You've hurt me so badly, I can barely stand.  My pride is damaged, my self-image shot. But the thing that hurts most, the most tender part,is that above all thingsyou broke my heart.    Hope you enjoyed!

Book Review: The Maddox Files by Rhonda Mornix

Hello Lovelies,  So I was up until the wee hours of the morning finishing The Maddox Files: Back to Business, and I am still collecting my thoughts. It was a crazy ride. Let's start with an intro, for those who might have missed my interview with Rhonda a few weeks ago.  Genre: I really don't know. This is one of those books that doesn't fit cleanly into any one genre. There is a bit of paranormal, a lot of romance, PI, action, Sci-fi, and a bit of intrigue.  Synopsis: Dice Maddox was once a

Poetry Corner: Heidi Sampson

Helping us alwaysIn our time of needDefending ourIdiosyncrasies. Supporting usAlleviating our painMaking us believe Parental guidanceSo we can goon.Never letting us fail.  This was a poem I wrote in high school (yes, my maiden name is Sampson!) and we were asked to use our name to create an Acrostic poem.  With the poem, my idea was to look at characteristics I wanted to develop. It is a good reminder of the person my teen self wanted to be.  Hope you enjoy this glimpse into the real me.  Until
