Is it Time to Make a Change?

Hello lovelies,I have been doing some mid-year evaluation (Can you believe it is already 1/2 way through the year? When did that happen!?)I have been evaluating both personal and book-related goals. Some things (like the Meet the Author Mondays) have been going great! Others (isn't that just how life goes) have not been going as great. And some things, I am wondering why I even bother.I have found that one of the keys to living a more balanced life is to have these regular evaluations. Like driving a car, one must take a moment to reflect on where one is going and make sure the navigation is still on track.Well, I am running into some detours. So it is time to make some changes.Which is really hard for me, because I have discovered, particularly in my not-so-young age, that making changes gets harder every year. One of the changes that keeps getting suggested to me, but that I am really struggling with, is to focus my energies on just one of my series. I wanted to get your feedback on that.I am running behind on the release for the second book in The Hunters series, and that makes me sad. Looks like we will be focusing on a fall release, rather than the July release I had hoped for.As I am wrapping up this project, I am debating. Should I continue to focus on The Hunters? Or would you like to see the third book in The Clear Angel Chronicles?Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!Until next time,Keep Reading!

Happy Fourth of July!! Grab some Great Books 1/2 off!

Hello Lovelies! Happy 4th of July! I have to say, I have always loved the 4th of July. Although it is technically our "Independence day from Great Britain" from as long as I could remember, it wasn't celebrated in such a way. It has always, in my experience, been about celebrating the community and building pride in our country and community. From enjoying food together, to spending time with family and friends, to enjoying beautiful fireworks displays, and sports and games, and other fun

Book Review: Dark One, One for Sorrow by Sydnie Beaupre

But yet, when the fallen angel—Cael—heard whisper of this and from the exact moment he first saw her, he knew with the core of his being that he above all others needed to protect her. Cael begged and

In the Wake of Orlando, Why Storytelling Matters

Hello Lovelies, My heart has been heavy all week, seeing the wake of Orlando filling my newsfeeds, seeing the stories of the lives that were lost, and seeing new stories coming out that make me weep.A horrible tragedy that we should unite behind as a country, has divided us again. And as Lincoln said, a house divided against itself cannot stand.  I fear for America if we continue as we have. Because if we remain divided, then we will fall. This tragedy should be a time for us to unite in support
