Defending Mercy and other POV

First AOM Bonus POV

You guys are the best. And thanks to Sonya, I’ve written my first POV of AOM. This POV is probably one of the biggest scenes in the story, but who am I not to give the readers what they want. Be kind, this POV is not edited. But it’s free.

If you haven’t yet read AOM, don’t read this POV. It’s a big spoiler and ruin some of the fun of stumbling upon it in the story. Priya tells me this scene (at least the crux of it) shows up at 66.6% on the kindle version. I have to wonder just how fitting...

The question of the day is will AOM be published Friday. The answer is no. But wait. The last word has been written, the book is in editing. I don’t have a date yet when it will finish that process and I’ll have a final look through. But I’m pretty sure it will happen in June barring some catastrophe. And sooner rather that later.

A song on repeat

Often when I’m writing or editing a story, a song gets played on repeat for what feels like hours to my family. I end up with earbuds in, listening to a song and soaking up the feeling I get from it. For today that song has been Lovesong (along with a few others), the cover performed by Adele.

During around the fiftieth time I listened to it, this POV forced itself on me until I wrote it. It’s quick. And I thought I would share it with you.

Updates and New Cover

Okay, updates. I’m about five chapters away from finishing AOM. Are you excited? I am. It’s been a long journey but thanks to you guys’ encouraging words, I really found my voice again. I’ve been writing like a mad woman. All the words had been in my head. It was a matter of feeling up to typing them.
