The Gift of Prayer…
I believe that prayer is a critical and irreplaceable tool in our “life toolbox”. The more I have utilized prayer in my life, the more amazed I have become by its profound power. I am truly humbled to be a recipient of such an amazing gift from God.

Clinging to God…
I don’t like to think of myself as old enough to have the wisdom of a sage but I have learned over and over again that my efforts to stay connected with God during the more happy and “carefree” times of my life have served me well during those moments when knees are bent and urgent pleas are sent heavenward. I am reminded of the parable of the 10 virgins. I suspect the wise virgins also kept their relationships with God vital and healthy during their happy days and were blessed with those same reservoirs of hope and strength during their moments of crisis.
