You are His…
Do you recognize your incredible worth? Or, do you use the world’s standards to decide if you are someone important? Have you given up on your dreams or goals because you’ve decided that you’re nobody special? Is it always everyone else that is talented and gifted? If so, I believe that you misunderstand how much you are loved by the Lord and the fact that we all have been given gifts and talents that are ours to share with the world. Your gift(s) may not be musical or the kind that wins you world acclaim but that does not make your gifts any less important. In heaven, the gift that had the greatest value was the gift of love. If you have shared your love and/or helped another know that they are loved, you have manifested one of the most important gifts there is to give. So very often, sharing a smile means more than sharing a dollar. When the time comes to take our last mortal breath, our life will not be valued for the empire we have built, it will be valued for the lasting positive impact we have left on the world.

Rocks in Your Path?….
I have noticed a curious phenomenon. Perhaps you have too. It seems that many (most) individuals are never thrilled about the rocks (trials) that get strewn in their path. They complain about those rocks and how unfair they are and how they are not deserved. However, once they get past them, they become prized lessons learned. I understand why we value those trails (after they over) on two levels. First, I feel that way about my own learning experiences aka trials. Second, having seen heaven and the preparations that we made prior to coming to earth, I understand that, even though we are not able to remember our existence there, our spirits innately understand the incredible value of knowledge and intelligence. That is one of the primary reasons for our existence here. We have come to learn and develop our talents, abilities, gifts and faith. Everything we do that helps us to become better, more capable and more loving is all important!

Connect with the Silence…
There is a voice within each of us that speaks truth to our hearts and our souls. That voice does not speak in harsh tones or shout its messages. It requires us to tune into it.I often find that in order to hear it, I have to take deliberate steps to hear it such as turning off all the noise around me. Yet, when we listen to and live in harmony with that voice – nothing…NOTHING can bring greater peace, joy and fulfillment. If you want to change and improve your life, one of the most important things you can do is to be silent and listen.

Are You Making Life too Complicated?!!
Life is simple…it’s about love and relationships. When we make love the center of what we do – most of the complications go away. Are you making your life more complicated than it needs to be?

Those who Believe…
The power of belief – if only more of us understood that power! Even more powerful is when those beliefs align themselves with truth. You may believe that you have nothing to offer – that you are nobody special. If so, you will manifest that belief with your life. However, the truth is that everyone is someone special and that everyone is meant to manifest a life that is wonderful and inspirational! Imagine how much better the world would be if you understood the truth about yourself and made that truth manifest in your life! That is my prayer for today…that you and others like you will understand your true value and the gift you are meant to be to this world we live in!

Choices for Eternity…
Everything I witnessed in Heaven had, in some way or another, to do with choices. It was our choices that “bought” us a ticket to earth and it will be our choices that determine our return to heaven. Our return ticket has already been bought and paid for by our Savior but our choices will determine if our ticket gets used. Our Creator has done everything in His power to help us succeed – the choice is now ours. Will we choose God or will we choose those pursuits that remove our hearts from God? I’m trying to make sure that every day is filled with choices that strengthen my connection to God. What will your choice be today?

Understand More…Fear Less
Few things alter our lives and our progression like fear. Is fear holding you back? Is it fear that your life might change or that it might improve? Do you fear failure? When you look back on your life during your last moments, do you want to see a life of complacency or a life of learning and growing? Every day we create what that picture will look like as we take our last breaths of mortality. We cannot always choose our circumstances but we can always choose our attitude and our response to those circumstances. Think about what you want from your life and what is eternally important! Then choose accordingly – even if it means you must overcome some fears!

Play and Grow Young!
George nailed it with this comment! I regularly see patients who come into my husband’s chiropractic office who verify the truthfulness of of this quote. I see “old” teens and I see “young” senior citizens. Growing old with play matters. When we play, we use our bodies (a precious gift from God). We use muscles and we keep our balance fine tuned. I mostly talk about spiritual topics in my blog and that’s why I’m talking about play today. When we lose our health and our mobility – we generally have a tendency to lose our positive outlook and every aspect of our health suffers – including our spiritual health. Get rid of those “I’m too old for that” thoughts! Move, jump, skip and play – your life will benefit in ways you never imagined!

Manifest Your Personal Power!!!
Each of us is born with a plan and a purpose and passion for that plan and purpose! Ignore it long enough and you will be able to convince yourself that you are no one special. If you are wondering what your purpose might be – just pay attention. Listen to your heart. Perhaps your purpose is as simple as being a force in the world that motivates others to be more kind or more loving. Perhaps your purpose is to share a musical talent and bring joy to yourself and others through music. Perhaps you are meant to inspire by overcoming difficult obstacles. Whatever purpose is yours – find it and share it and join with making the world around us a better place!
