Concentration camp survivor writes foreword for new book on the Holocaust

This book has been written for those who believe the Holocaust is a fairy tale. It has been excellently researched by authors James & Lance Morcan, and they have proven beyond any doubt that the Holocaust did occur.
Those who deny the Holocaust are not only ill informed, but their resistance to accepting a well establish fact comes from a deep-seated hatred of the Jewish people. In other words they are anti-Semites.
Beyond a shadow of a doubt, the Nazis committed this heinous crime and the German people – who in the main were aware of the atrocities but kept quiet about them – are therefore guilty by association.
SIX MILLION Jewish people were murdered in a manner which can scarcely be imagined except in the evil minds of the Nazis who set about bringing to fruition ‘The Final Solution’ – which they very nearly achieved. In total, they murdered and slaughtered 11,000,000 innocent people without mercy, and this figure does not include deaths resulting from the battles of war.
As a Holocaust survivor I can speak of it as I did experience the terrible conditions for fifteen long months in Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. I vividly recall the hours standing for roll call during snowfalls, heavy rains, heatwaves and storms. We could not sit on the ground as we would lose our food rations for two days if we did.
They counted us, but the SS always concluded two or three were missing, even though this was never the case as there was no way anybody could ever escape the camp with the watch towers everywhere and the SS men constantly on patrol with their dogs. They often forced us to stand for three or four hours, and sometimes up to nine hours, during roll call. Young and old were meted out this mental and physical cruelty.
Food was 4 cm (1.5 inches) of black bread which was already weeks old. The SS had to put vinegar in the bread so that fungus would not grow in it. We also received three quarters of a litre of brown watery soup with a piece of carrot or parsnip floating in it. Those were our entire rations day in, day out for every 24 hours.
The beatings, the terrors, the unspeakable sufferings, the deprivation of water, the lack of protection from the harsh weather conditions, and being dressed in cotton grey and white (the colours of a slave labourer), all combined to strip us of our identities. We were only known by a number. Number 10564 was mine.
I was a 13-year-old girl when we were taken from our home in Amsterdam at 4.00am. Together with my parents and two little brothers we were deported to the transit camp Westerborg where we stayed for four months. During this time we saw many, many trains leave for Auschwitz. My father’s parents were on one of these trains and they went straight to the gas chambers.

How unspeakably evil the Nazis were. They told the Dutch people that those detained would simply be put to work in Germany to support the war industry. The Nazis also told the Dutch public that detainees would be given a home and that the father in each detained family would work in a factory and the mother would stay home to care for her children. That’s how the Nazis managed to orchestrate a quiet and orderly transportation of 105,000 people from the Netherlands.
On the 1st of February 1944 we were on the train to Bergen Belsen where for 10 months we were together with my parents. After eventually being separated from my parents it was my task to take care of my little brothers and also 40 other younger children. With the help of two Polish nurses we managed to stay alive as a group and were liberated by the English army on the 15th of April, 1945.
On the 1st of January 1945 there were 60,000 people in Belsen in an area not bigger than three football fields. By the 15th of April 1945, some 40,000 had died of malnutrition and typhus and in the months following the liberation another 17,000 died.
Of the 105,000 people deported from the Netherlands, only 5000 returned from the camps alive.
It is most important that the Holocaust is remembered. Let’s hope this book will contribute toward that.

Underground Knowledge group membership tops 2,000

Underground Knowledge group members have their say on abortion… YOU are welcome to have YOUR say…
In the latest poll in our Underground Knowledge discussion group on Goodreads.com, we ask members Do you believe abortion should be legal or illegal? Interim results show three-quarters of poll respondents say is it should be legal.
In posing the question, we asked members to discount extreme cases (like pregnancies resulting from incest or rape as well as mothers who are too sick to carry a child full-term) when casting their votes.
Interim poll results are as follows: 75% say abortion should be legal; 18% say it should be illegal; and 7% are undecided.

Here in the US, it doesn’t matter much what we think, the Supreme Court already affirmed it as a woman’s right. I myself am against it, but I’m not going to begrudge a woman who has to make that choice. Instead of trying to chip away at access, government’s focus should be on making sure these clinics are safe and regulated.
Hearing male legislators talk about “gifts” of rape and braying other truly ignorant positions, a woman’s right to choose has to be protected. When it comes to aborting a child because you want one of a different sex I do feel very uncomfortable. When it comes to abortion because of sex without care or caution of birth control, I do feel very uncomfortable.
Birth control can fail and if a woman can’t afford a baby she should have the choice to kick it back to stardust so it can reincarnate and be with a family who wants it.
I think medical abortions are necessary for many reasons, but I do believe people need to take responsibility for the consequences of their sexuality by using birth control devices… Abortion is definitely a choice, a choice to terminate a life you created out of carelessness, be wise and and practice contraception with your partners. No excuses.
Abortion is the premeditated murder of a new human son of God ! All the living components to make an ascending son of God are in the living sperm-living egg union!
I do not like the idea of abortion or of suicide. While I have my preferences, I do not have the hubris to assume that my preferences gives me the right to determine actions that have nothing to do with me.

This book is the result of prodigious research. James and Lance Morcan consulted noted scholars of the Holocaust. After James Morcan discovered my book, entitled “Memories of Evil — Recalling a World War II Childhood,” he wrote a review of same on his website. Thereafter he asked me lots of questions via e-mail: about life in the concentration camps, about my life in the U.S. after the WWII. Book’s release coincides with Holocaust Remembrance Day

A New Zealand father and son have published a book debunking Holocaust deniers’ theories.
Coinciding with Yom Hashoah “Debunking Holocaust Denial Theories” has been released written by non-Jews Lance and James Morcan. The book’s sub-title is “Two Non-Jews Affirm the Historicity of the Nazi Genocide”.
The book was written in close consultation with Holocaust survivors and World War Two historians. The writers say that no stone was left unturned in meticulously verifying the historical facts of the genocide. The Morcans present a wide array of sources including Nazi documentation, eyewitness accounts, scientific reports and shocking photographic evidence to shut down the debate deniers wish to create.
‘Debunking Holocaust Denial Theories’, published by Sterling Gate Books, is already attracting critical acclaim.
In her review Pam Blevins, Regional Museum Educator at United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, describes it as “Excellent book to debunk denial theories”.

Speaking from Sydney, Australia, today, author and filmmaker James Morcan says the book was inspired by the alarming rise in anti-Semitism globally.
“We endeavour to show readers that anti-Semitism is not only the root cause of every form of Holocaust denial, but also the reason for the relentless persecution of the Jews since Biblical times,” says Morcan. “Hopefully, our book will give the deniers something to think about as well as helping those who wish to learn more about WW2 and the Nazi extermination camps.”
James Morcan told J-Wire: “The cover photo was taken at the Ebensee concentration camp in Austria.
There were no gas chambers at that particular camp, but the victims were used for horrific “scientific” experiments.
Many victims died slow, painful deaths at the hands of Mengele-type Nazi doctors…
I have spent much of this year to date looking at all the photographic evidence from the Holocaust.
It has been traumatic even to look at all the photos from the genocide.
I co-wrote this book with my father Lance Morcan (a former journalist) and as per the subtitle, we are both gentiles. We wrote it in close consultation with Holocaust survivors especially our good friend New York-based survivor Peter Kubicek (author of Memories of Evil: Recalling a World War II Childhood).
Our intentions with this book are to aid in ending Holocaust denial for good and also combat rising anti-Semitism.”
