Me and my dad went outside on the lawn Sunday, which is covered in dandelions right now. There was a heavy breeze, so I pluckeda dandelion that had turned into a white puff of parachute seeds and blew on it. The breeze pushedthe seeds towards my dad, and he tried to dodge them as they clung to his clothes. Like a little kid again, I picked up more and blew, anglingit so more wouldblow on him.

He tried to blow some at me, but the wind drove them back intohim instead, an...

Story contains: violence, action.

This is one of the best books I’ve read in a while! An intense read that kept me turning the pages. A historical fiction novel that’s based on the “what if’s” after World War 2, especially the “what if” Hitler had won.

This story was full of action, but not in a way that fries your brain(as some action movies do when so many kicksand explosions are happening all at once that you have no clue what...

Spring has been a long time coming here, in northern New England. Weeks of cold and rain, and not a leaf bud in sight. But since May arrived, it’s gotten mildly warmer, enough for the flowers to bloom, though not as full as they have been previousyears. I heard on the news that this spring is 10 degrees coolerthan normal for this time of year (10 degrees! ugh). All combined, it dampened my spirits; spring is one of my favorite seasons.

But just this Saturday the temperature soared, and as if...
