Even Villains go to the Movies - #Cover #Reveal!

Choosing between good and evil has never been this much fun.
When your mother is America’s Superhero Sweetheart and your daddy’s the Number One Super Villain, you grow up feeling a little conflicted.
Angela Smith has superpowers—nothing that will ever make her comic-book famous—but her ability to psychically sense and manipulate the emotions of people around her has drawn unwanted government attention. Forced to choose between her quiet life as a teacher under constant surveillance or t...

End Of Summer Blog Hop - Pippa's Post

The in-between seasons of autumn and spring are my favourite times of the year, rather than the extremes of summer and winter. The autumn sun isn't the skin-burning blast of summer, and the landscape shifts from bright green to shades of red, gold and copper. There's the smell of damp leaf mould, the scent of bonfires and people using their indoor wood burners for the first time. Not being woken up at stupid o'clock in the morning by the early sunrise. Even if if also means rain, chilly morni...

Tuesday Teaser - Tracing the Stars by CE Kilgore

Excerpt from Tracing The Stars – Prologue:
Orynn is coping with her current reality and gaining an understanding that her fate has been inseparably bound to Jarren’s.
The hot sting of tears blurred her vision of the star-lit canopy above her as she gazed up at the points of light shining between her fingers. They were all there, delicately crafted into the lacework of the fabric. Caspian the Gallant, Soros his arch nemesis, the beautiful Tressana bewitching the wise sage Acrates, the Raven, th...

Oh Stupid Heart by Liza O'Connor - Guest Post and #giveaway

Today, I am here to answer as an expert whether some CEOs act unprofessionally and yell at their people?
For many who have worked one on one with CEOs, the question is laughable. Yet, there are those who believe a CEO remains calm and steady.
I’ve worked closely with four CEO’s.Two were certifiably crazy. One was a dim bulb, the other a smart bulb.(One of those crazy CEOs became our Secretary of Defense for a time)Another of the four CEOs seemed a bit psychotic. He was always insisting someone...

Interview with Connie L Smith, author of Essenced #YA UF
Please welcome author Connie L Smith to the blog, on the release of her UF YA novel Essenced.
Please tell us a bitt about yourself: First off, I’m pretty terrible and writing descriptions of myself! My name’s Connie (obviously), and I live in Kentucky. I have my BA in Speech Communication and History, and my music collection is severely outdated. And I make great peanut butter rolls.
Tell us about Essenced:It’s the first book of a trilogy (The Division Chronicles), and it’s basically about the...

Falling into Romance - Love Among the Stars

I love to write and read romance set against the background of exotic worlds and alternate timelines, be the lovers human or otherworldly, or both. I want characters to explore their relationships and each other as deeply and intensely as they explore space. And my aim? To assimilate as many readers to the genre of scifi romance as I can!
Picking just one of my favorite SFR books to share was HARD! But I chose Unknown Futures (f/f erotic SFR) by Jessica E Subject, one of my top scifi roma...

#Science #Fiction #Fantasy Saturday - Shades of blue

Hello! *waves* Welcome to another #sffsat snippet and thanks for dropping by. This week we have the cue word 'shades'. Luckily for me, this is one of my favourite words so it was easy to find a snippet to share. This one is taken from Keir's Fall, the as yet unpublished sequel to Keir.
Keir paused and his breath caught as the dappled light touched the woman sprawled across the bed under a woven blanket in shades of blue. Deep in sleep, tousled red hair...
