A Valentine's Day Thank You

https://www.goodreads.com/author/list/5054558.Pippa_Jay
Today I reached a landmark. I hit 200 ratings on Goodreads for my books. I'm amazed! And highly flattered. When my debut novel released in May 2012 I certainly never expected so many people to read it, let alone review it.

So I want to say a huge, huge thank you to everyone who has bought my books, and a special thank you to all those who took the time to rate/review them, be it on Goodreads or elsewhere. It truly means a lot to me, and I appreciate every single one.

Thank you, and have a great...

Going Full Frontal Nerdity ( @FOTSN @ColchesterArts ) #science #humour

What is it?

Well, according to their website "Festival of the Spoken Nerd is where sparkling wit meets fascinating science in a comedy night for the insatiably sci-curious. It’s hosted by award-winning geek songstress Helen Arney, stand-up mathematician Matt Parker and BBC 1 science experiments guy Steve Mould. They are currently on a nationwide tour of the UK with ‘Full Frontal Nerdity’ from January to April 2014."

And I got to see this for myself at the Colchester Arts Centre o...

Gethyon - #SFRGalaxyAwards winner!

Some of you may (or may not) know that I'm one of the admins for a fantastic group called the Science Fiction Romance Brigade, a dedicated group of authors, readers and publishing professionals committed to promoting the genre of SFR. As part of that, this January saw the 2nd Annual SFR Galaxy Awards, and while I didn't expect to win anything (it's not a contest you can enter since the judges choose from their personal favourite reads over the previous year), I was committed to posting the re...
