Take a Leap of Faith with R. Brennan
Blurb: New submissive, Faith Daniels is completely infatuated with her amazing Dominant, Richard Halstead, so when he sends her a summons via text message a full day before they had plans to meet, she can barely contain her excitement.
But, Richard didn’t just invite her over for a play date. Not this time. He has a proposition for Faith. One that could change the rest of her life.
Buy Links: Coming Soon
Excerpt (Mature Audiences Only): Strong hands grabbed hold of her kneecaps, startling her. Richard jerked her legs apart until she knelt in an exposed V position. His voice arrived close to her ear, sending a chill through her. “When I ask you to kneel for me, this is how you are to do it. I want you to display your desire. Show your need with the pride of a submissive. Do you understand me, Faith?”
Her body ached for his touch. The brush of his hand, the caress of a breast. Anything. She’d even welcome the slap of his paddle if it meant he’d touch her again. “Yes, Sir.” Her voice was little more than a hoarse whisper.
“That’s my girl.” He slid a finger along her wet opening. Half a breath later, she heard his lips smack together, as if he’d just finished eating barbeque ribs. “Sweet nectar.” His hand returned to probe her slit. A finger entered her.
A gasp of pleasure tore from Faith’s throat, contorting into a whimper when he withdrew from her quivering pussy.
He traced a fingertip over her mouth, coating her lips with the evidence of her arousal.
The carnal scent of her juices surrounded her, pushing Faith toward the mindless black abyss of wanton need. Her nails dug into the flesh of her forearms as she willed herself to resist reaching for him again.
Two fingers forced their way into her mouth. “Taste your desire.”
Faith sucked them clean, her tongue swirling sensually around each offered digit.
Richard abruptly withdrew his hand and moved away.
Solitude rushed in to fill the space he left behind, leaving Faith breathless.
He signaled his return a few pounding heartbeats later with the ‘snap’ of his leash on her collar. “Come, pet,” he commanded.

Come and Summon Sin with Lilith Duvalier
I’m very excited about my new release “Summoning Sin” coming to Evernight Publishing on May 9th!
It’s a hot little mash-up of all of my favorite genres: Paranormal, BDSM and Steampunk, all around an M/M story. It’s also the first story that I’ve been able to write out of a character. Typically I start with the climax, the most important thing I want to tell a story about, and spiral everything out from there. This story actually started with brilliant, recently jilted Elderoy Tipple. He finds himself left alone in his well-to-do family’s home, and because he and his lover have recently broken up, he is horny and lonely, so he calls up an incubus to help him scratch an itch too long unscratched. Like you do. But when he makes a major mistake casting the spell he’s suddenly vulnerable to the incubus’s own magic-fueled brand of BDSM and almost helpless to fight it off.
I’ve done BDSM in steampunk before, and enjoyed it, because there is just enough of a fantasy element to the genre to allow you to try something a little bit out of the box, but I was surprised at the kink factor that I could work in when there was a real paranormal element to the story on top of the slight fantasy of the world. My favorite thing about writing BDSM is the psychological factor, and it was fun to realize how much you could experiment with that when you introduced a little bit of fantasy.
I hope you all enjoy it, check out an excerpt here:
Had he truly succeeded in summoning this fantasy creature?
If he had, the demon should be contained within the sigil. According to the book, it should be standing within the lines of the circle. He just had to complete the binding so that he could cross in and out of the sigil without carrying the incubus with him.
So that he could… well to be crass, fornicate with the monster without it getting loose.
He took a step back toward the center of the room, heart pounding. The heat shot through his body again, so sudden it was almost painful. He cautiously made his way back to the sigils and the mirror, every muscle clenched tight.
This had seemed like a much better idea under the light of the coil. In the pitch black dark the potential danger of summoning a sexual Hell-fiend seemed much more real.
Nothing jumped out to attack him, carnally or otherwise, as he tip-toed back to what he was mostly sure was the center of his room. Not until he reached what he approximated as the location of the sigil did he realize there was still some light in the room.
It was coming from the Black Mirror.
The sketchy outline that it had reflected earlier was still there, even with no light to reflect. He stared at it in horrified fascination. He waved his hands in front of him, watching the way the white lines moved as he did. It was almost as though he could see his bones.
Tck,tck. Tck,tck.
A soft noise, like a muffled click, insinuated itself into the room. It was a footfall, much like the sound of the teeny, dulled claws of his mother’s lap dog, Bumper. The hairs on the back of Elderoy’s neck stood up. The heat of the flames rushed through his body again as he whipped around. The click-click of clawed footsteps which definitely did not belong to Bumper continued. Elderoy started to shake as he realized they were circling him. The noise stopped. So did Elderoy’s heart.
He could see it in the mirror.
Unlike the thin glowing outlines of Elderoy and everything else in the room, the creature behind him was fully filled in, glowing like the full moon that Elderoy had wanted.
It was male, or at least male-seeming and shatteringly beautiful. He was bare-chested, and Elderoy suspected that he was naked, but was too terrified to move and reveal enough of the demon’s reflection to determine his level of dress.
His muscles were perfect, round and firm like he had been carved from marble by a master sculptor. His jaw was square, his chin pointed in a way that was slightly feminine. His hair was a little too long, just a touch unruly, like it had been carefully arranged, but come loose due to some…strenuous activity.
Wholly black eyes stared out of his lovely face. They were sparkled with specks of white. Like stars in the night sky. There was something almost kind in the creature’s smile. Elderoy looked up at it, dry mouthed. It raised its eyebrows, as though it had asked him a question. Elderoy, unsure of what else to do, nodded acquiescence. The demon’s hands reached out and as they settled on his shoulders.
And that’s when Elderoy realized that, against every warning in the spell book, he had crossed inside the sigil without completing the spell.

It’s Military Spouse Appreciation Day! Come lift these brave men/woman up.
Today is a special day many people don’t know about. It’s military spouse appreciation day. The saying , behind every strong man is a woman is so fitting in this case. When you marry a military member your life revolves around his job and him. The basic freedoms you take for granted are taken away, where you’ll live, how often you see your family. It’s a lot of sacrifice. Many people won’t understand your struggle. The worst phrase in the world to tell a wife “ You knew what you were getting in to.” “ It is what it is.” “ I don’t know how you do it, I couldn’t be alone all the time like that.” These are all things I’ve heard. So I turn the other cheek, smile, and nod. Today I’m breaking the silence for not only myself, but my sisters.
This shit is hard. We do it because we love them, and of course we’re damn proud. But there’ a reason spouse is referred to as the hardest job in the military. Today celebrates their strength and struggle. Thank you for all you do. From holding down the fort to comforting kids who don’t really understand why Mommy/Daddy’s away and misbehave. For all the grocery trips, doctor’s appointments, pregnancies, birthdays, anniversaries, firsts, and sleepless nights you spend alone. I see you, and what you’re going through. It’s appreciated, never forgotten, and essential to helping lift your spouse up. You’re the heartbeat of your family. Don’t forget for a second your worth or your power, and that you serve right along with him.
Today I’m giving away copies of No Man Left Behind in honor of my fellow sisters Living the Military lifestyle. All you have to do is leave one encouraging comment for Spouses.

Mid-Week Inspiration : Love the Skin You’re in
You guys know I try my hardest to be positive, keep it moving forward, focusing on reaching goals and celebrating all that makes you… well, you. These days I think women have a lot of expectations place on them. From the way that they parent their children to the way they look, dress, act. Which makes the rebel in me sneer and peer down my nose and want to give out hugs. I’ve never been the type of person to believe there’s only one way to do things. It’s something I’ve carried over into adult hood and in turn motherhood. That being said we’re always at different places in our journey. Some spots are high some lower than low, and at times we’re imbalanced ,really good in some areas, and lacking in another.
Now because I pride myself on honesty I’m about to get deep. I’ve spent the past six months or so at a low and embarrassed of my body. I had a surgery last year to remove my gallbladder. It ended up being life saving. The organ was swollen, irritated, and not too far from erupting.( I know. I had no clue it could burst like an appendix either.) The operation left me unable to do things for awhile, and left scarring. Those scars made me feel awful. Silly right?
Pre-surgery I was on the fast track to getting my pre-baby body. Jillian Michaels and I were working it out on the daily, eating healthy, and shedding the pounds Surgery sent all that to a screeching halt. I had to wait then slow and steady, and my husband’s work schedule seemed to explode and become all encompassing. Not deterred I kept at it, chipping away bit by bit. Yesterday I hit a milestone unexpectedly. I’m back at my pre-baby body, fitting into clothes from my early 20’s, and the goal outfit I bought, not expecting to get into for a few more months.
Here’s where i stop to celebrate.
I’m excited, but it’s taking a bit of time for my mind to catch up with my body. Have you ever had that happen? When your reality shifts but your mind is slow to catch up? I know I’m not the only person who’s gone through, or is going through this so I wanted to share. Woman comes in all shapes and sizes and we should love ourselves no matter what point we’re at. Scars are a physical expression of our strength. I’m proud of mine. I hope you are too.
I’m actually tackling this in an upcoming issue. I want to bring attention to the things I think many of us women go through with body issues. Society has a very clear concept of what they think beautiful is/should be. I disagree. I’m still working on myself ,so expect updates on my trip to really loving all of me. Thank you for listening to me and being a part of my struggle.
I hope you’ll join me next month when I launch Support Your Sister. A month dedicated to women helping women.

It’s getting Stormy this Saturday with Nicola Cameron
Thanks for letting me come on your blog today! I’m really excited about the release of Storm Season — not only is it my first full-length novel, it’s also the first book in my Olympic Cove series, which is best described as “Humans, Greek Gods, and mythological creatures must band together in Florida to save Earth from an insane deity who wants to remake the planet in its own diseased image. No pressure.” The entire series is fantasy erotic romance with science fiction and action/adventure elements; pairing-wise, the first two books in the series are MMM, the third and fifth books are MMF, the fourth book is MMMFF (oh, I’m looking forward to writing THAT), and the sixth book is MF. Yeah, I was never all that good about coloring inside the lines…
BLURB:
Ian West had his summer all planned out — go down to Florida, stay in his family’s beach cottage on Olympic Cove, and work on his science fiction novel. But his plans get thrown for a loop when gorgeous twin sea gods Bythos and Aphros show up in the cove and inform him he’s their fated consort.
As if that wasn’t enough, something in the Gulf of Mexico is turning mermaids into legendary monsters and gods into demons. Now, Ian not only has to navigate the complicated waters of a ménage relationship with twin sea gods, he also has to stop an insane deity and save the whole damn planet.
No pressure.

EXCERPT
“So … you just waited for me? All this time?”
“Yes,” Bythos said. “And you finally returned to us, and dreamed of us as we dreamed of you.” With care, he slid an arm around Ian. “I meant what I said earlier. We will never harm you, and we will never force you into anything you don’t want to do. But we need you, Ian, just as you need us.”
“We do need you,” Aphros said, moving in to lay the softest of kisses on Ian’s shoulder. “You’re the sun and the moon to us. We’ve dreamed about you for so long. Please, Ian, let us love you.”
Ian shivered at the softness of the demigod’s lips as they feathered along his shoulder, tracing the curve to his neck. His desire bloomed again, a warm heaviness settling in his groin. “You dreamed about me?” he whispered.
“Every night,” Aphros said. “You have no idea how you tormented us with your skin, the sounds you made.”
“And your taste,” Bythos murmured, leaning in now and brushing the tip of his tongue over Ian’s skin. “I can’t describe how delicious you are. You taste like everything good in the world. Like home.”
“Like ours,” Aphros said.
Ian moaned at the sensation of their mouths on his neck, their hands wandering across his chest, plucking gently at his nipples. “Oh, God,” he breathed.
“Gods, actually,” Aphros said, lifting his mouth from Ian’s neck for a moment. “Well, demigods, but still.”
“Aph, shut up,” Bythos said, sliding a broad, warm palm around Ian’s jaw and pulling him closer. “We have better things to do.”
BIO
Nicola Cameron is an expatriate Chicagoan who has lived in England, Canada, Holland, and Sweden, and keeps a confusing amalgamation of languages in her head as a result. Currently located in the clavicle of Texas, she has finally mastered the proper use of “y’all,” much to her Chicago family’s dismay.
Despite a healthy interest in sex since puberty, it wasn’t until 2012 that Nicola decided to try writing about it. As it turned out, the skills she picked up during her SF writing career transferred rather nicely to erotic romance. When not writing, she wrangles cats, smooches her husband, makes dolls of dubious and questionable identity, and thanks almighty Cthulhu that she doesn’t have to work for a major telecommunications company any more (because there’s BDSM, and then there’s just plain torture…).

The Book Reading that almost wasn’t!
As promised I’m giving the dets! The meeting for the reading was around 6:15 pm, but because I live in Cali where traffic is crazy, and parking downtown is scarce I opted to leave at 2pm. It gave me plenty of time to grab lunch and go over the passage I planned on reading from my book, Sorrow’s Muse. My babysitter is amazing, promp with a focus on education and being really interactive. So when 2:15 rolled around I had an uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach. I texted her to find she’d been a horrific accident and was in an Halo with a broken vertebra. I felt horrible! Then I panicked. Then I calmed and said , nothing was going to get me down!
I wracked my brain. The other woman I used to babysit had training in L.A, and my husband was off doing training in the dessert. My mind calmed, clarity hit, and a fellow military wife and friend came to mind. I shot her a text, and angel that she was she invited my kids over with open arms. Relief flooded me. I dashed around like the chicken with my head cut off. My kids are 11 mths and 3years so they require a small stockade to travel with, especially since they’d be there till 9-10.
In the end I delivered them and hit the road in just enough time to stay ahead of traffic. I got a killer parking lot, found the place, and sat at the bar. The reading was at a wine bar called Wine Steal via Lady Jane’s Salon in San Diego. The décor was fabulous, and the staff was amazing. I spent the time chatting with the adorable bartender who made me laugh.
The coordinator, is amazing! We chatted when she arrived and I was instantly at ease. I’d meet her prior at a RWA meeting, and getting to know her better was a privilege.
Gathered in the back room I meet Kate Noble, Angela McCallister, and Sorcha Mowbray. The crowd was supportive and friendly. I couldn’t have asked for a better first time. I have to say it was odd to look in the crowd and see Amber Benson, Tara from Angel. She was very nice, but it added to the …. This could only happen to me moment! This has set a new fire underneath me. Maneuvering my way through this by myself and triumphing was a huge deal. You all know I battle with staying at home, being a Marine wife, and having a hands-on-writing career. That means sometimes writing comes dead last. But not this time.

Mid-week Inspiration : Bravery is continuing despite fear : Giveaway
Hey All! I missed you last week with the blog hop going on. Did you guys enjoy it? I love Evernight, they come up with some of the funniest ideas. Keep your eyes peeled we have another fantastic event coming up in May I’ll be sharing about soon.
Today is my debut in book reading. I’ll be over at Lady Jane’s Saloon in San Diego reading a selection from my book, Sorrow’s Muse.
In honor of that I’m going to talk about fear and bravery. I’m terrified. Shaking in my coral colored, snake skin sandals with gold accents. ( yes they are fly, I’m so posting pics!) I’m more of a laid back introverted type, and I haven’t given a speech of any kind in front of folks since college. To top things off my husband is away for training so I’m flying solo. My friends and family live much too far away to pop in for this. So you can guess my anxiety level spiked to tenfold.
But to me bravery is doing what needs to be done despite the fear, so that’s what I’m doing. Heading off when my babysitter gets here , getting a pedi, and driving downtown to the wine bar where it’s held, pretending I have more swag then I feel like I do. Lol. Fake it till you make it right? I’ll be typing up a summary of things and hopefully manage to get some pics of myself ( since I’m solo… not sure how that’ll work) on Friday.
While I was gathering all my items to giveaway some things caught my eye and I realized how long it’s been since I did a giveway! This one comes with an exciting announcement. The Unveiling is going to print! * YAY. It’ll be ready in time for my trip to Romcon in June. I hope to see some of you there. It’d be amazing meeting in person.
In honor of this milestone I’ll be giving away two shirts. All you have to do to enter is tell me when you’ve pushed fear aside to accomplish a goal.
Wish me luck Colts!

Imani Parker has had it with just friendship with Skylar Magee. Saint Patrick’s Day will either make them a couple or break them. She wants to show him that his place is with her and she is the only home he needs. She invites Skylar to dinner for Saint Patrick’s Day and plans to show him that they can be lucky in love.
Teaser:
“Boxty on the griddle, boxty on the pan; if you can’t make boxty, you’ll never get a man’.” –Irish Folktale
“Girl, do you even know how to make Irish food?”
Imani looked over at her sister Sonia and laughed. Sonia had the most skeptical look on her face. “Yes, Soni, I can make Irish food. Besides before Sky’s mother passed away she’d sent me her recipes for everything that I’ve made for him tonight.”
Sonia crossed her brown eyes and made a silly face at her, and Imani could not stop the laugh that escaped.
“Do you think I’d try to pretend I knew how to cook it? If I did that this whole plan could backfire.”
“What are you planning on making him?” Sonia took a deep breath. “Least it smells good in here, so I guess you do get what you’re doing.” She chuckled.
“I’m making bangers and mash, along with corn beef and cabbage and boxties.”
“Okay, I’ve heard of the first two, but what the heck are boxties?”
“Basically an Irish potato pancake.” She couldn’t stop the smile that spread over her face as she perused her sister.
“So tell me your plan again?” Sonia questioned.
“Basically, Soni, Skylar has been feeling homesick. I plan to show him some Southern California comfort via the Irish way.”
“Ah, so the whole ‘the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach’ deal?”
“In a nutshell, yes, that’s exactly my plan. Sky hasn’t been himself lately and the closer we got to today, which is Saint Patrick’s Day, it’s gotten even worse. I want to show him that home is wherever he lays his head and that I can take care of him and give him what he needs. I want him to smile again.”

Sandra Bunino is Marooned with the Millionaire
I’d like you to extend a warm welcome to the marvelous Sandra Bunino! She’s here to tell us a little bit about her sexy , new, release Marroned with the Millionaire.
MAROONED WITH THE MILLIONAIRE
from Evernight Publishing
Release: April 9, 2013
Blurb:
A fierce Miami storm bring sexy strangers together at The Hotel Del Santos for a night of desire.
Stephanie, still reeling from a failed marriage, needs a break from the past. Shying away from the convention center crowds while on a business trip, she finds solace tucked away in a secluded hotel on South Beach.
Jason, a wealthy Seattle builder, has the worst luck with love. He swears he will never allow another woman to get under his skin, until the clicking of a pair of sexy stilettos across the hotel lobby floor attracts his attention.
Cut off from the outside world, the lives of these two strangers collide and burn with desire when a storm strands them together. Neither wants anything more than a glorious one-night stand.
Their chemistry is undeniable and propels them to a second meeting in Sin City. However, Stephanie soon learns she has more reason to be wary of her mysterious lover than a broken heart.
Excerpt:
Stephanie sipped her martini while glancing over to the window. The storm showed no signs of letting up. In fact, it seemed to grow even more fierce. As if on cue, a violent crack of thunder ripped through the lounge as the rain angrily batted at the window. Carlos poured her yet another martini and she lost count of how many times he’d refilled her glass. Was this the third or the fourth? She knew one thing for sure: Jason Royce was sexy as hell. The way his blue eyes sparkled, as the candlelight flickered shadows against his tanned features, rocked her to her core.
Stealing a glance at his strong, muscular build beneath his sports jacket caused her breath to catch in her throat. Until today, she hadn’t thought of another man this way, not since before she was married. As if in a trance, she couldn’t break her stare. However, she quickly became aware of his smile. He watched her drink him in, which made her blush and turn her head in embarrassment.
Jason moved closer and spoke slowly in his silky voice. “I wonder if you might dance with me.”
“I’d like that.” Whoa. What the hell am I doing?
He led her to the dance floor illuminated only with candlelight and the occasional flash of lightning. Placing one hand in his and the
other on his back, their bodies started out a respectable distance apart. Before long, Jason’s warmth drew her in, and she couldn’t ignore the electricity forming between them. Tentatively, she stepped closer and lightly rested her head against his neck. Jason took this as a cue to guide her hand up and over his shoulder. Suddenly, his strong hands urgently pulled her against his rock hard body. The force of his embrace awakened a passion that lay dormant inside her until now. Stephanie couldn’t fight the fire building within her. She closed her eyes and breathed deeply, inhaling his musky scent while caressing his neck with her fingertips. Her face grazed up the side of his neck, stopping at his jawbone. Jason’s touch seared her skin as his fingertips skimmed up her side to her neck and came to rest on her chin. With his thumb and finger, he guided her face upward and she opened her eyes. His smoldering gaze burned a trail down her body. Uncomfortable with the intensity of his stare, she looked away.
“Stephanie.”
Her eyes shifted back to meet his gaze as he lowered his mouth and softly brushed his lips against hers, questioning her, awaiting a response. Accepting his invitation, she parted her lips and moaned softly. His lips were soft and enticing. It had been a long time since she was kissed like this. She surrendered her tongue to his and felt desire fill her belly as an overwhelming passion grew by the moment. Breathlessly, she pulled away, embarrassed by her body’s reaction to the kiss. She looked down and pressed her forehead against his chin.
“I don’t know why I did that. I need to go sit down.”
