I'm a Fearless Freelancer!
Delighted to announce that I have been selected as a finalist in the Grassroots Award – Fearless Freelancer category at the Northern Cultural Education Awards 2024! It’s wonderful that my workshops, school, library and bookshop work have been recognised in this way. Thanks so much to the judges and I look forward to attending the ceremony in May. Creative Writing for Children

Just to let you know I’ll be hosting a Creative Writing Workshop for the 7-12s at Linghams Booksellers in Heswall, Wirral, on Friday 2 June (end of half-term week) from 10.30-11.30am, followed by a book signing through until 12noon. We’ll be playing Invisible Book and Story Hunt and I’ll give some tips to aspiring young writers. Tickets are £5.00, redeemable against one of my books at the signing.

Stormy Weather
The climate here in the UK is going absolutely crazy. This week we've had wind, rain, sunshine, storm, calm and temperatures ranging from 69 to 75F. Probably I should go onto plant-based burgers and solar panels to sort it out. Anyway...
