An award for my author workshops

I had a fabulous trip on Friday to the Northern Cultural Education Awards at the Edge Arena in Wigan, UK, where I was a finalist for the Fearless Freelancer Award for my author workshops. Lots of local young singers, poets and dancers performed and I was presented with a certificate as a Finalist. It was great to watch the ceremony and journey around the marketplace, discovering just how many creatives there are in the North of England. It was a wonderful chance to celebrate everything I’ve been trying to achieve with my books and workshops for children over the last thirteen and a half years.
