OPINIÃOAcabei de ler este livro a 1 de outubro de 2013; dou-lhe três estrelas.Não me alongando, até porque a minha opinião sobre este livro é praticamente a mesma que tenho sobre os volumes anteriores, continuo a achar a história muito longa.Gostei particularmente que a personagem do Jonh Breed fosse desenvolvida e se aprendesse mais sobre ele, pois acho que ainda tem mais para oferecer à história. Também gostei do desenvolvimento do Ethan e que o papel dele se tenha aprofundado e revelado mais importante.Por agora, vou fazer uma pausa antes de avançar para o último volume da série, pois tenho um livro da Biblioteca para ler para efeitos de pesquisa para o último livro da minha trilogia, como, uma vez que já tenho a amostra em papel do 2º, tenho de lê-la para efetuar a última correção antes do livro sair.

REVIEWI finished reading this book on 1stOctober 2013; I rate it three stars.I won’t take long, because my opinion of this book is almost the same as I have on previous volumes; I still find it a very long story.I particularly liked that the character of John Breed was developed and we got to learn more about him, since I think he still has more to offer to the story. I also liked the development of Ethan - his role has been deepened and revealed more important.For now, I'll take a break before moving on to the last volume of the series, because I have a book from the library to read for research purposes for the last book of my trilogy, and since I already have the paperback sample of the 2nd one, I have to read it to make the last corrections before the final book comes out.

OPINIÃOAcabei de ler este livro a 19 de setembro; dou-lhe três estrelas.Gostei mais deste livro do que do primeiro volume. Embora ache que as autoras arrastem a história o máximo que conseguem, este volume teve pontos interessantes, como o aparecimento de personagens novas e, aquilo que mais gostei, a noção de que Ethan não é apenas um Mortal, mas um Mortal que tem um papel importante a desempenhar. Isso faz dele mais do que o simples namorado de Lena.Também gostei do que aconteceu à Ridley e ao Link – foi uma inversão de papéis inesperada e que veio tornar as coisas mais interessantes, embora eu ache que a Rid não se vá conformar com a sua nova condição.O novo Incubus parece-me que vai dar muito que falar, pelo que estou à espera de encontrá-lo no próximo livro, que vou ler em breve.

REVIEWI finished reading this book on 19th September; I rate it three stars.I liked this book more than the first volume. Although the authors drag the story as much as they can, this volume had interesting points, such as the appearance of new characters, and - what I liked most - the notion that Ethan is not just a Mortal, but one that has an important role to play. That makes him more than just Lena’s boyfriend.I also like what happened to Ridley and Link – it was a role reversal that came unexpectedly and made things more interesting, though I think that Rid won’t conform with her new condition.The new Incubus seems that will give much to talk about, so I'm waiting to meet him in the next book, which I will read soon.

Mais uma vez senti que a autora estava a escrever a coisa “ao despacha”, querendo atar todas as possíveis pontas de uma só vez. Os vampiros foram quase banidos da história e a escolha final da Sookie… bem, não fiquei convencida nem achei piada. E o Eric, a maneira como foi descartado, sem mais nem menos? E o que veio fazer o Quinn, decidiram chamá-lo e ao Alcide só para lembrar o leitor que participaram nos livros anteriores? Acho que este volume final devia ter sido melhor pensado e trabalhado. A mim, não me deixou nada satisfeita.

REVIEWI finished reading this book on 15th September; I rate it two stars.Disappointment – that’s what I felt when I read this book. Again I felt that the author was writing the thing in a hurry, wanting to tie every loose end at once. The vampires were almost banished from story and the final choice of Sookie... well, I was not convinced nor thought it funny. And Eric, the way how was discarded, no more no less? And what about Quinn, the author decided to call him and Alcide to the story just to remind the reader that they participated in the earlier books? I think this final volume should have been better thought and worked. It was ​​ very unhappy with it.

Em primeiro lugar, achei que estava a ler um pequeno conto erótico e não uma história que merecesse ser editada num livro e com tanta promoção, mas quem sou eu para julgar as editoras? E a tradução? Ui! É um livro erótico, mas o palavreado pode ser moderado.Não me vou alongar. Simplesmente não fiquei fã da história, além de não achar credível que uma aspirante a escritora erótica fosse para a cama com o seu suposto mentor logo na “primeira lição”…

REVIEWI read this book on 13th September; I rate it two stars.I read it at once since it was a small book, but also because the reading left much to be desired. First, I thought I wasreading an erotic short story and not a big story that deserved to be publishedand with so much promotion, but who am I to judge the publishers? And the translation? Ouch! It is an erotic book, but the wording may be moderated.I will not stretch. I just didn’t become a fan of the story and I didn’t find it credible that an aspiring erotica writer went to bed with her supposed mentor right on their"first lesson"...

Curiosidades Perdidos | Lost Ones Curiosities: Twilight & Hush, Hush

A explicação do porquê da referência ao “Hush, Hush” já foi mais do que justificada, ou seja, foi a sua leitura que me despertou a vontade de enveredar pela vertente do fantástico. Relativamente às referências ao livro “Crepúsculo”, de Stephenie Meyer, uso-as porque, quer queiramos ou não, foi uma série que marcou uma geração e trouxe o paranormal de volta às luzes da ribalta. Na qualidade desse marco, não podia ser ignorado, daí que as personagens o mencionem ou o próprio narrador.


The explanation to why I refered to "Hush, Hush" has been more than justified, ie, it was the reading of it that awoke in me the desire to enter into the fantastic genre.
