Pete Davidson Telling PETA To ‘Suck It’ Is The Best Thing I’ve Heard All Day

Why does PETA have anything to say about Pete Davidson buying a dog? Is it their business and do they need to stick their noses into it?

So, PETA stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, I get it. I love animals. I don’t like when they’re mistreated and I like that PETA exists, for the most part. I just think they contradicted themselves on this one but let me tell the story first so you have all the details.

It all starts when Dave Sirus posted a message for Pete Davidson about the grief his family was going through over the loss of the family dog, Henry. In their grief, Pete thought he’d get another dog and he has allergies to them so he is very limited on what kind of dog he can get. So, he went to a store in New York to buy a very specific dog. That’s when the fight started.

In a statement to TMZ, Daphna Nachminovitch, PETA’s Senior VP of Cruelty Investigations, said, “It’s tragic that Pete didn’t seek out a borough-born mutt from a city animal shelter, because a scrappy New Yorker with charm, personality, and unconventional handsomeness could have been his perfect match.”

What Peter Davidson didn’t like about what PETA did was making his business public by attacking him and his purchasing decision while he was grieving, “I haven’t seen my mom and sister cry like that in over 20 years. I was trying to cheer up my family. I was already upset that the store had filmed me without my permission or acknowledgment. Then this organization (PETA) made a public example of us, making our grieving situation worse.”

He actually called up Daphna’s company number and left a voice message when they didn’t pick up. He told them the story and then used a few choice words to wrap up his message, “[beep] you and suck my [beep]!”

That’s not the end of it though because PETA doubled down despite being told about the situation, “Our hearts go out to the Davidson family for the loss of their dog, but Pete must know in his heart that there’s no excuse for buying a dog and propping up the puppy mill industry when millions of dogs await loving homes in shelters, and we hope he’ll do the right thing and adopt next time.”

So, who the hell do they think they are? They actually said that Pete has impressionable fans that will be influenced by his buying decisions. Really? They don’t have minds of their own to make their own decisions?

Saving dogs from shelters is a great thing to do. Save all the dogs. Don’t let them sit there. But, dogs in stores aren’t fake dogs. What happens to those dogs when they don’t get picked to go to a family? Are they rewarded with a happy ever after or is the consequence for growing past the cute puppy stage more along the lines of animal cruelty?

PETA could promote their views more positively. But they choose to attack people and guilt-trip everyone. For that, I give them an “F” on this test because they severely screwed the pooch on tact and just common human decency.

For $3500, Can I Pay With Fake Money? Apple Vision Pro

Apple Vision Pro has now made it possible for a person to lose themselves totally in virtual reality. The only things they are ever going to need after this is real food and real water while living in a real house.

When I first heard the news of the Apple Vision Pro release, I had to look up what it was because we already have virtual reality games and devices. My nephew brought me a headset that he got for Christmas last year and I got to go to a fake rifle range and fire some fake firearms in the comfort of my own living room. As long as I sat in a chair, I had no fear of walking into a wall or tripping over a coffee table.

I remember back when people started building online worlds for themselves. They were able to put together an entire fake life and live in a fake home that looked exactly the way they wanted it to look. Then, I remember hearing about people buying clothes and other merchandise in these games. These items weren’t real but they were using real money to sustain an entire life in a game while also maintaining an entire life in the real world.

Think about it though. Now, there is money that you can’t physically touch but it can buy actual things just about anywhere in this world. The invention of cryptocurrency has given the world virtual money that can be spent just like the dollar bill. I’ve even heard of people making decent money from providing services online and getting paid in crypto so that’s one way in which the Apple Vision Pro can make it possible for a person to disappear into a virtual world and not come up for air for hours.

Imagine building a virtual office and meeting real people there via video chat to build an online business with online services and make virtual money that will be passed around online using keys and passwords. For the recluse, the world is almost perfect.

Just the other day, I saw a report about people having AI friends. It’s not a real person but it learns how to talk to you and be your friend. A lonely person can have a friend via software that will never betray or walk away. It won’t even get mad at you.

With all these inventions and devices in play, a person can actually reduce their living space to a small room where they can then dive into the virtual reality world they created and even have the best of friends who never do anything wrong because they aren’t programmed that way. Visit the entire world via virtual tours and do any activity the imagination will allow.

For people who don’t like the real world, it’s possible to have the one they want and the way graphics are going, it only promises to get better and better. But that price tag needs to come down a little or these jokes are just going to keep on coming.

Boobless Babe is celebrating positivity and confidence while letting the world know what it’s all about

TikTok user Stephanie Germino has a new calling in life it seems, but she’s heard the voice from an early age. Known online as Boobless Babe, she is spreading awareness about breast cancer and how she’s celebrating her decision to go flat.

Growing up, Boobless Babe struggled with self-esteem issues that many teens struggle with as they start to learn more about their bodies and notice the differences in them. Germino had issues with her breasts in more than one way. As Yahoo Life quotes her, “It was a very self-conscious part of me.”

She went through outfits wondering what to wear because she felt that her breasts just weren’t “perky enough.” The real issue was lying underneath, though, as her maternal grandmother was diagnosed with being a BRCA1 carrier and started to go through treatment for breast cancer. Because of that, her mother got tested and she came up positive as well. Her mother had to have a double mastectomy and opted for breast reconstruction surgery afterward.

As Stephanie tells, doctors push reconstruction surgery because that’s the norm. To them, women should have breasts. However, there is a movement that is taking place that Babeless Boob has fully embraced. Her social media posts show a woman who is proudly flat and has no reason to hide it. She is confident and positive about her image, showing women of all ages that they don’t need reconstruction surgery to be whole.

Often funny and entertaining, she gets her point across.

With so much body shaming in the world, trolls make their senseless thoughts known about what they don’t want to see. It can contribute to people having deeper self-esteem issues if they were to listen to every clueless soul who puts their opinion across on the internet. As mentioned earlier, Yahoo Life reports that she has 1.5 million followers. However, her accounts keep getting taken down because of the complainers who aren’t trying to be exposed to her bare honest videos. It’s sad that all she’s trying to do is spread a healthy message and there are people out there who would rather waste their energy combating her rather than trying to do good things themselves.

Nate Diaz and Logan Paul in a Street Fight, Guess Who Won?

Nate Diaz and Logan Paul have been beefing for a minute and we were all looking forward to a possible fight. That might not happen now that they caught up to each other in a street fight and things were set straight there.

Logan Paul is a decent boxer. What can I say? He could kick my ass. But I’m an old man and he’s in his prime. He should be able to kick my ass.

I’ve just always thought that he jumped into professional boxing because of his online status and that’s not fair to the other boxers. Just because he can bring in the fans doesn’t mean he’s worked to get there or qualified to be there. Some boxers have bled and sweat for years to get to where, kicked back because an online influencer has millions of followers but no experience in the ring?

So, he fights people he thinks he can beat and most of them haven’t even been boxers. His last fight with a boxer did go his way and that was with a guy who had a chance. So, I give him that one. It’s a good show for the fans and a great purse for the contenders. That’s business, baby. It’s just business.

Nate Diaz on the other hand is a beast in the octagon. He’s trained with his fists, his feet, and several disciplines of martial arts. He knows how to use everything at his disposal and he’s been a veteran in the octagon for years.

Of course, Logan Paul wants to take him on in the ring but I don’t think Diaz has a problem with that. He’ll take him on anywhere. Like in this video. They meet in the street and as everyone knows, there are no rules there.

Will Nate Diaz and Logan Paul ever see each other in the ring? I’m not so sure after what happened here.

Lake Superior State University Has Banished The Word GOAT

With the Super Bowl coming tomorrow, this news hits just in time. Lake Superior State University of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan makes a list every year of words they think should be banished and for 2023, they have added the word GOAT.

Patrick Mahomes will be playing in the big game tomorrow as Tom Brady has just recently left the building and GOAT is very much a part of our vocabulary, thank you very much. With LeBron James recently becoming the all-time highest NBA scorer, the debate still rages between Michael Jordan and James over who the actual GOAT is. This word isn’t just going to go away.

The Greatest of all Time is actually hard to nail down. There is always going to be a long list of names that have all accomplished great things. No one is in agreement about Michael Jordan and LeBron James. Everyone pretty much agrees that Tom Brady is the GOAT…for now. Patrick Mahomes is on his way. But if Lake Superior State University had its way, we would have to find a new term to use to label the one person who has made the greatest contribution to the game or whatever field they’re in.

That wasn’t the only word or saying that was banished by the way. The list also includes Inflection point, Quiet quitting, Gaslighting, Moving forward, Amazing, Does that make sense, Irregardless, Absolutely, and It is what it is. Rodney S. Hanley is the university’s president who defended the list by saying that they fit a certain set of criteria that includes, “misuse, overuse, and uselessness.”

I agree with the list to a certain extent. “Irregardless” is just a silly word that serves the same purpose as regardless and makes the speaker sound uneducated. “It is what it is,” explains nothing, and “amazing” is an extreme word that is used way too much. Your dinner was not amazing. Throwing your water bottle into a trash can five feet away is not an amazing shot. A dancer really has to stun me into disbelief before I will call their performance amazing. Very few things in the world are amazing and that level of description should be kept for those things that actually are.

But I’m keeping GOAT. In fact, I might say it now more than ever, and speaking of the GOAT, Patrick Mahomes has a particularly interesting curse to break tomorrow. The last nine quarterbacks to be awarded NFL MVP and go to the Super Bowl in the same year have lost the big game. Mahomes is looking to break that streak and bring home the win tomorrow, but he’s up against the Philadelphia Eagles and they aren’t too shabby either. Plus, we don’t know how he looks yet since suffering an injury to his ankle earlier in the playoffs.

Tom Brady Gets Roasted By Kelly Clarkson At The NFL Honors

With the NFL football season coming to a close, Kelly Clarkson was tapped to host the 12th Annual NFL Honors. She is clearly a Cowboys fan as she wore a dress with their colors and the infamous star with the names from Elliott to Prescott to Lawrence, Diggs, and Lamb.

One of the highlights of the ceremony though was when Kirk Cousins came out on stage with Kelly Clarkson to sing a song in tribute to Tom Brady. It would appear the GOAT is retired and he means it this time. He might be able to get his wife back since his return to the game is what caused the divorce in the first place. But put that aside for now because this is hilarious.

It’s not a song about his achievements or what he means to the game. It’s about him being gone finally. To the words of Kelly Clarkson herself, “Since U Been Gone,” the duo sang “Now That He’s Gone.”

Dak Prescott didn’t look too happy about that. After all, he did beat Tom Brady in his final game. Of course, that was after Tom Brady beat the Cowboys in every other game that they met. So, Prescott can think about that for a moment.

And just in case you missed it, that was Tom Brady in his underwear on his bed in Miami overlooking the beach. He is promoting his underwear. But as I understand it, the reason he is doing it this way is that he lost a bet. Of course, he would have to have lost a bet. That doesn’t seem in character with something Brady would have done otherwise.

But a tear-jerking highlight of the ceremony was when Damar Hamlin came out on stage. He was met with a standing ovation. If you don’t know, earlier in the season, Damar collapsed on the field suffering from a cardiac arrest. The game was canceled. I had never seen anything like that in my life and I hope I never do again. It was good to see Damar walking across that stage and the speech he gave was touching. He brought all the first responders and the entire medical staff involved in his recovery on stage with him to honor them as well.

LeBron James Stands Alone As He Breaks All-Time Scoring Record

I don’t know who took the timeout for the huge celebration that took place on the court after LeBron James became the all-time leading scorer in NBA history, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The NBA is going to have to sort that out or maybe they just took one for themselves to give the man a celebration deserving of the feat.

At the age of 19, LeBron James joined the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003. Since then, he went to the Miami Heat in 2010, back to Cleveland in 2014, and finally to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2018 where he’s been ever since. On each of those teams, he’s accumulated points that as of last night’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder in which the Lakers lost, those points add up to 38,390. Before that, Kareem held the record at 38,387.

He has often been compared to Michael Jordan as to who is the GOAT. There are fans on both sides of that argument and this achievement will definitely up LeBron James another key point when it comes to the comparison between the two athletes.

It’s a fact that when Michael Jordan played the game, he changed it. Period. He played sick. He played amazingly. He left a bright shining glow on the game when he left that is still there to this day, that James himself has had to play under as he has risen through the ranks.

That would be the reason many believe Michael Jordan to be the undisputed GOAT. But let’s not rain on LeBron James’ parade. He became the highest scorer of all time, and after scoring those points at the end of the third quarter, he was done for the night. He didn’t score for the rest of the game, an entire quarter left and he didn’t contribute much of anything else finishing the night with 38 points to go along with 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals!

Michael Jordan would have won the game. Just putting that out there. In all seriousness, congratulations LeBron! That’s an amazing achievement that solidifies you as a legend of the NBA with a phenomenal legacy that will always be remembered.

The Genius of ‘Flowers’ by Miley Cyrus

I saw a meme on Facebook about Miley Cyrus buying herself flowers while back in the day, we had the Dixie Chicks telling us how to get rid of Earl. We are not the same. I had no idea what it was about. As always, I am late to the conversation. I’m late to the party. I’m late for the show. I’ll be late for my own funeral.

But let’s talk about Miley Cyrus who must have been in a good bit of pain over her breakup with Liam Hemsworth and the fact that there might have been an affair between him and Jennifer Lawrence while the two were still together in their on-again-off-again romance that ended in divorce in 2020. In an old clip of Jennifer, she admits to kissing him while they were working together filming The Hunger Games. Did it go any further than that? Who knows? But fans are speculating and Miley might know.

There are Easter Eggs all over the “Flowers” video released as well as the song itself. First off, it begins with Miley Cyrus in a gold dress that looks the same as what Jennifer Lawrence was wearing when she went to The Hunger Games movie premiere with Liam. That just begins all the brilliant references Miley put in her work.

There’s so much that it can’t be caught all at once. Things happen so fast and some things in the video aren’t even known until the information is leaked but here’s what I have so far.

At their wedding, Liam dedicated the Bruno Mars hit “When I was Your Man” to her. Miley reverse engineers that song when she sings, “I can buy myself flowers / Write my name in the sand / Talk to myself for hours / Say things you don’t understand / I can take myself dancing / And I can hold my own hand / Yeah, I can love me better than you can.”

The Bruno Mars hit goes, “It all just sounds like ooh, ooh, ooh, hoo / Mm, too young, too dumb to realize / That I should have bought you flowers / And held your hand / Should have gave you all my hours / When I had the chance / Take you to every party ’cause all you wanted to do was dance / Now my baby’s dancing / But she’s dancing with another man.”

But wait! There’s more!

I sound like a salesman on TV. But, there is more. The house that is in the video was the same house Liam rented to cheat on Miley. Like damn!

Then, the suit that she’s dancing in at the end of the video is the one in a famous clip where they are on the red carpet event for Marvel when she’s acting wild and he tells her to behave. She plays it off and pushes him away, but he was trying to change her and there is no changing Miley.

Have I covered everything? I’m not really sure. There are probably more layers. But if that was all, that’s enough. When she released the music video on Liam’s birthday, that kind of says it all. Doesn’t it?

Where funny hashtag trends come from is anyone’s guess. Jimmy Fallon has a habit of starting them on his show. He’ll ask for audience input on a topic and overnight it will blow up. This trend is about things people say during vacation and sex, but it wasn’t Fallon this time.

Where it originated doesn’t matter, but the fact that it’s picking up steam with some of the funniest answers does. Imagine the funniest line to say during vacation and sex. Imagine yourself on Whose Line Is It Anyway? doing “Scenes from a Hat.” Have fun with it.

Alec Baldwin and the Case of Manslaughter

Imagine having a stellar acting career that dates back to 1982 with 147 acting credits and 23 producing credits including Rust, the movie that was being made when Alec Baldwin suddenly had the worst day of his life. It’s a shame that it could all come to an end with an involuntary manslaughter conviction that holds up to 18 months in prison according to New Mexico law where the charges are being filed.

On October 21, 2021, on the set of Rust at a ranch in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Alec Baldwin was rehearsing a scene that involved him firing a pistol. When he pulled the trigger on what was supposed to be a prop, actual bullets were fired, resulting in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, as well as injuring director, Joel Souza. Firearms in movies used to be just that, props. But more and more over the years, filmmakers have wanted more authenticity and now it appears that these “props” actually function.

Santa Fe District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies that she would be charging Baldwin with involuntary manslaughter, and also Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the weapons supervisor on set. In order for the charges to stick in this case, their actions must have resulted in a death but they never intended to kill anybody, and may not have even meant to hurt them. That part is true.

However, there is another part to it. They must have been acting in a reckless manner or in any other way that is unlawful. It comes down to that criteria. Can they be found guilty of manslaughter for the death of Halyna Hutchins because they acted in a reckless manner?

Armchair lawyers can argue all day whether or not Alec and Hannah are guilty. The unfortunate fact that needs to be remembered here is that Halyna Hutchins lost her life and her family is grieving. Firearm safety should have always been taken seriously on set and now, there stands a very real reason. If you pick up a firearm, you are responsible.
