BLURB

Master Alex is furious when a friend’s submissive invites a naive stranger to his party. With his reputation on the line, he must keep her out of trouble and away from curious Doms. Observing signs of interest from her, he leads her down the path of wicked temptations. However, when his ex-sub pushes her way back into his life, he tries to find a balance between his discreet life and his public one.

Mercedes is fearful of the world she’s stepped into, but the curiosity of what pleasures lie beyond keep her interested in far more than the play. All is going well until a jealous woman convinces her she’s out of her league. Desperate to regain control over her life and heart, she pushes Alex away.

Will these two manage to find their way to each other, or is their relationship doomed from the moment they meet?

EXCERPT

Mercedes popped an eye open to see the candle nearly burnt out. I don’t remember lighting this last night. Oh! The weight of a large arm wrapped around her, and the sheet hung off the edge of the bed. Alex! He spent the night.

He groaned into her ear as she adjusted her position. As she did so, there was a knock at her door. Mercedes gently lifted his arm and rolled out bed, grabbing her silk robe from behind the bedroom door and glancing at the time on the digital box, which read eight-o’clock.

Who the hell could be visiting so early? She’d paid the landlord three months in advance, and she hadn’t really met anyone to expect house calls.

From behind the door she called out “Who is it?”

“It’s me, dummy. Poppy and Brian.”

Shit. What now? “Poppy, it’s not really a good time. I was sleeping.”

“Just open the damned door. We won’t take up too much of your time. We just want to make sure you’re okay.”

Mercedes sighed. Reluctantly, she did as she was asked, and they made their way inside. “I’m sorry I don’t have any coffee, guys. I haven’t even been here long enough to go grocery shopping.”

“That’s all right, sugar. We only stopped in to see how you were holding up after last night,” Brian spoke up.

“I’m fine. Really. Though it was a shocker that Poppy would even think to invite me. But, as you can see, I made it home safe and sound, eventually.”

Never mind the fact that she had walked into a sick joke by Alex’s ex-sub—or whatever the heck she was called—Mercedes wouldn’t forget last night any time soon. The moment she had a chance to take up the issue with Poppy, she would. But not until they were alone.

As she sat across from her company in the armchair, Mercedes clenched her butt cheeks and relaxed them. She couldn’t get comfortable with the damned plug in her ass, and squirming or pouting wasn’t going to make it go away any time soon. Shoot! I forgot that was still there. “Is there any reason why this conversation couldn’t have waited ’til a more decent hour? Christ! It’s Saturday, and I had a long night, if you hadn’t noticed.”

Brian smirked and peered around her to look on the dining room table where Alex had left his jacket. “You never told us you had company.”

“Well, that’s because you never asked. Last I checked, I didn’t realize I had to inform you.”

He snorted, patting Poppy on the knee. “You’re a cheeky one. I can see why you and Poppy get along so well. We’ll be on our way.”

“So soon? I thought we might all go out for breakfast,” Alex announced from the bedroom door, wrapped in nothing but the bed sheet.

Mercedes flushed like a child caught with her hand in the proverbial cookie jar. Great. Now, everyone knows the kind of things we’ve been doing together.

“Christ, Mercedes. There’s no need to be shy. We’re all adults here. Now, come in here and get dressed so we can go out for some food. After that, I’ll take you to the grocery store.” Alex nodded to his friend. “Brian, how about you and Poppy meet us at Alessandro’s family diner?”

Mercedes was so embarrassed by the chance meeting between her friends and lover that she couldn’t meet his eye. I can’t believe he just did that. He might as well have stood there naked. Mmm…now there’s a thought.

Alex prancing around her apartment in the nude made for perfect entertainment. Who needed art to hang on the walls, when one swift look at his impeccably well-kept form was pleasurable enough? Just how did I get so lucky? If someone would have told her a week ago, that she’d move back to her hometown and find herself in the arms of a handsome, built, and uber sexy gentleman, she would have called them a liar.

She wasn’t exactly the perfect zero, or whatever the preferred size of women was these days. She was a healthy size twelve, with large boobs and a generously curvy butt.

For years, she had struggled with weight loss and trying to keep up with the social norm. But no matter what fitness center she joined, or fad diet she tried, her svelte body always came back. She’d practically given up thinking that anyone would accept her body for what it was. That is, until now.

Ugh. Must think positive thoughts. Alex…naked…

She imagined reaching forward and yanking the sheet from his body. Damn. Today is shaping up to be a good one.

Claire is back on Santa’s knee in HEY, SANTA #MySexySaturday #eroticromance #holiday

My Sexy Saturday

Hi peeps! It’s the 30th week of My Sexy Saturday, and the first day of winter.

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season!!!

Here are the details:

every Saturday, published and unpublished authors will be sharing 7 words,

sentences, or paragraphs from a work-in-progress or an already published story.

Here’s seven from HEY, SANTA, an erotic sci-fi holiday romance,

a sexy story to warm you up over the holidays.

Hey, Santa, an erotic sci-fi romance by Jessica E. Subject

This is the second time Claire has sat on Santa’s (Andy’s) knee.

She sat on his knee, resting her arm across his shoulders. “Hello, my sexy Santa.”

He longed to kiss her, reenact everything they did the night before. But he had to keep his distance. They’d spent one night together, and he’d already made mistakes. Any more time together and leaving became that much more difficult.

“Hi, Claire. It’s great that you stopped by, but I can’t chat. I’m kind of busy.” The sooner he finished, the sooner he left this city.

“I know.”

She kissed his nose, sending a rush of desire through him. His nose of all places. Why did that affect him? He needed her gone, needed a clean break.

“I have to get home to start dinner. But I wanted to ask you to wear the Santa costume home. I have a special surprise for you.”

A surprise? Oh, shit, I’m going to become a lab rat. She’d called the authorities.

Hey, Santa, an erotic sci-fi romance by Jessica E. Subject

Hey, Santa

An Alien for the Holidays story

Erotic Sci-Fi Romance

ISBN: 978-0991932016

She doesn’t want a lot for Christmas…

Claire Otton dreads spending another holiday alone. When her best friend convinces her to approach the sexy mall Santa, she takes the chance and asks him out, hoping for so much more.

He’s waiting under the mistletoe…

Although Andreas Castellanos blends in on Earth, he knows he will never belong. But when the gorgeous woman he’d been staring at invites him to dinner, he has a hard time saying no.

All they’re asking for…

Can these two lonely souls find magic together or will their secrets steal their chance of a happy Christmas?

And here’s an excerpt:

Claire smoothed her dress across her lap. The short hemline didn’t come close to reaching her knees, or barely her butt for that matter. Though a festive red color, the dress’s plunging neckline revealed even more skin. She shivered in her chair, ready to ask for her coat back. Why did she have to buy the shortest dress possible?

Like she needed it anyway, with her date already ten minutes late. She doubted he would show. Who wanted a socially inept woman? Heck, what man wanted to start dating someone two days before Christmas? She sighed, resting an elbow on the table. Why did I ask out Santa? She didn’t even know his name, what he looked like. Yet, she’d given him enough personal information to stalk her. Way to go, numbskull. She might as well have given him her house key. And since Tiffany had driven her to the restaurant, she’d have to take a cab back home.

“Hi, Claire. Sorry, I’m late.”

She jerked her head toward the deep, husky voice. Her Santa had arrived. But instead of the white-haired, bearded man with the fuzzy red suit, she stared at a Greek god. Broad shoulders. Muscles constricted by the sleeves of his dress shirt. His wavy brown hair looked wet, as if he’d recently stepped out of the shower. Or maybe snow had started to fall since she’d arrived. Pulse racing, she dared to gaze into his crystal blue eyes, the part of him she remembered from their meeting in the mall. Yet, even with his tanned complexion, something seemed not quite right with the color of his skin.

Was he as nervous as her? Her last non-double date occurred so long ago, she didn’t know how to act.

Not wanting to be rude, she stood to greet him. He had, after all, arrived rather than standing her up. And the sooner he touched her, the better.

Resting his hand on her hip, he moved closer, kissing her cheek, his lips soft and gentle. His breath smelled of fresh mint, a far cry from the last guy Tiffany had tried to set her up with.

“It’s good to see you again, Santa.” She tried not to swoon, her legs like jelly.

He chuckled, still holding onto her. “It’s Andreas. Andreas Castellanos. Andy, if you want.”

Wow, my very own Adonis.

How will their date turn out? Will they spend the holidays together? Well, you’ll have to read the story to find out.

Book Spotlight: THE COPPER AND THE MADAM by @KarynGerrard #historical #rubenesque #erotic

The Copper and the Madam by Karyn Gerrard
THE COPPER AND THE MADAM
by Karyn Gerrard

Decadent Publishing

Historical/Rubenesque/Suspense/Erotic

BLURB:

In 1897 London, Scotland Yard Detective Sergeant Rory Kerrigan never expected to find love among the crime-ridden streets he vowed to protect. Kerrigan, a man with a wretched past and hardened heart, keeps emotion from his life and its interference with his police work.

Abbess Rea is owner of the brothel, The Blind Cupid, and a woman with a secret and desolate past of her own. Rubenesque and leery of men, Rea lets no one close. Yet, she cannot deny the ruggedly handsome Rory touches her heart.

A grisly murder on Kerrigan’s turf has Rory and Rea teaming up to bring the killer to justice. As danger lurks closer, secrets are revealed and passion is ignited. Will the copper and the madam acknowledge their mutual yearning even at the peril of their lives?

Approx 34,000 words

EXCERPT:

“Did you enjoy the show, darlin’?”

Rory stepped out of the shadows, the uneven illumination making it impossible to tell his mood. His voice was neither teasing nor angry but flat and devoid of emotion. What a surprise to discover this dispassionate side of Rory.

Furious rage overcame her embarrassment. “You have been out here the whole time? Who told you? By God, when I find out who it is, I will toss them out into the street—”

“Easy, Rhiannon. You forget, I’m a detective. I can observe a place for hours. Standing in this hall was no time at all to me. Besides, no one had to tell me anything. Well, that’s not quite true. Someone informed me ages ago you like to watch. So I began to wonder. It did not take long to find your hidden door. How long and why?” Annoyance deepened his voice.

Caught good and proper. What should she tell him—that the only way she could feel anything at all was to observe others having sex? And that watching him gave her the greatest pleasure she had ever experienced? She shook her head. “It is my private business.”

She turned to stomp away, but Rory reached out and clasped her arm. “Not so fast, Rhiannon. What you invaded was my private business. How. Long?” Barely banked fury colored his tone.

“Three years. Let me go.”

Rory pulled her against him. He clutched her arm tighter and she winced.

“Now, you will tell me why.”

Hot tears blurred her vision. “Fine. Maybe it’s the only enjoyment a fat, lonely whoremonger can acquire.”

Rory clasped both her arms and glared down at her. His eyes danced with emerald fire.

“Do not call yourself fat, not in my hearing. I know portly when I see it, and you’re not it, darlin’. You have ample curves, aye. Fat is rolls, waddling when you walk, and ten steps have you breathing hard. That is fat.” He trailed his hands down her arms and rested them at her sides. After a few moments pause, they moved over her hips up to her waist. A groan tore from his lips. “Curves, Rhiannon. Luscious, succulent curves. Breasts a man could happily get lost in. Don’t get me started on your arse.”

Well. Heat lingered across her body where his hands roamed. Rory stopped below her breasts, his thumbs brushing the undersides. He caught her earlobe between his teeth then his tongue whorled her ear. A lustful shudder quaked her all over.

“Next time you want to watch me, sit in a chair in the room with me. Don’t hide in a broom cupboard with holes drilled into the walls, you follow?”

BENEATH THE STARRY SKY is TWO today! #eroticromance #1NightStand

Hello peeps! It’s a special day for me, as BENEATH THE STARRY SKY, my second story, has been published for TWO years today. Unlike most of my other stories, it’s a contemporary erotic romance, but it does have a splash of sci-fi in it. Here’s an excerpt:

Beneath the Starry Sky by Jessica E. Subject

Shit! I can’t go anywhere without someone getting out their camera. He raced with Tamara in tow, trying to keep her from the intrusive life he lived. He wasn’t ready to bring anyone into the spotlight with him yet.

But he had to get out of the hotel first. He unlocked his car and held the door open for her. Even when trying to beat the paparazzi, he still believed in chivalry. After shoving her inside a bit too roughly, he muttered an apology, closed her door then rushed around to the driver’s side. Throwing the car in reverse, he squealed the tires in a rush to get out of the parking garage. How much time did he have? He didn’t know, but if the paparazzi followed him, he’d have to pull some fancy maneuvers to lose them before driving to his destination.

They made it to the street before he was temporarily blinded by the first flashes. Tamara shrieked when someone knocked on her window, right before another flash of light.

Fuck! I have to get away from this, get her away from this.

Pulling onto the Strip, he expected them to stop, leave him alone. But another photographer jumped onto the hood. Josh closed his eyes so the upcoming flash wouldn’t leave him sightless and slammed on the brakes. The man flew off. He made sure the crazy paparazzo was out of the way before taking off. The last thing he needed was to be sued by some maniac with a camera.

When he’d finally made it off the Strip and onto darker streets, he released the breath he’d held.

“Who the hell are you?”

Her words were mixed with fear and anger. With a glassy stare, she waited for his answer. Would the truth ruin what could have been? If he didn’t tell her, she could Google his name anyway.

“I told you I’m an actor, or at least I was, and a former model. The show I’d been on for two years was recently canceled.”

Her eyes softened. “But why are people following you? Are you really that famous?”

He laughed. “Obviously not if you’ve never heard of me. But when you’re an underwear model, you get obsessive fans, and then I was on Searching For Earth on the sci-fi channel. Don’t you follow the tabloids?”

“No, I have better things to do, but I may have to start watching the sci-fi channel if all the actors are as hot as you.”

All tension from the encounter with the paparazzi diminished when he saw her smile. He reached over and squeezed her thigh. “Maybe you shouldn’t. They’re all known to be players.”

She placed her hand on his, making him want to touch even more of her. “Yourself included?”

He heard the playful tone of her voice, but he wouldn’t make her think he had a big ego. “Maybe at one time, but things changed after the accident. I’m sure you understand.”

She nodded. “So now that your show’s done, what are you doing next?”

He told her about his plans to become a film producer. She told him about the pharmaceutical company she worked for, and all of the places she traveled on business. They spent the entire hour talking, with no awkward silences. By the time he pulled into the driveway of his future house, thoughts of her naked body pressed against his had taken over his mind. It had been so long since he’d been with anyone, let alone a down-to-earth woman who he could relate to and vice versa. Not only could he see himself driving his already hard shaft into her, but also walking alongside her, holding hands and talking. Conversation had not been a forte of many of his previous dates. Maybe Madame Evangeline does know what she’s doing. But they hadn’t yet reached their destination. He had time to figure out whether she wanted him as much as he wanted her.

#MySexySaturday – Making Love BENEATH THE STARRY SKY #romance #1NightStand

My Sexy Saturday

Hello peeps! It’s the 29TH week of My Sexy Saturday. Here are the details:

every Saturday, published and unpublished authors will be sharing 7 words,

sentences, or paragraphs from a work-in-progress or an already published story.

Last week I shared an excerpt from ALIEN LOVER, which celebrated one year published.

Today, I’m sharing an excerpt from BENEATH THE STARRY SKY,

my second story, which will be TWO years published on Monday, December 16.

Beneath the Starry Sky by Jessica E. Subject

Tamara could not have asked for a better night. She’d been nervous about leaving the

hotel, but the evening had been well worth the anxiety of him catching her bald and their

escape from the paparazzi. In Josh’s arms, she became a new woman, one who was

comfortable with herself and beautiful.

Another meteoroid raced across the sky. I wish this date could last forever.

He pressed his lips against the back of her head then kissed down her neck. She leaned

back further, enjoying his touch, longing to feel him inside her once more. Or maybe for

a lifetime.

His hands slid under her shirt, caressing her sides, then moved up to her breasts. Each

gentle stroke from his thumbs across her nipples sent her senses soaring.

“I want to taste you,” he whispered. “Every inch of your amazing body.”

She closed her eyes and breathed in the crisp mountain air, along with his sexy,

masculine scent. She turned to face him, forcing him back onto his elbows. “Not before I

taste you.” His erection had already made its presence known against her back, but now it

strained against the fabric separating their bodies.

She slid down his legs, taking his sweat pants with her. His exposed cock stood rigid

before her, beckoning her hands and mouth. Such perfection.
