I’m in New York City right now. Meetings with my fabulous agent and my amazing publisher are all done. My friend Joy joined me on Friday to finish off the week with a girl’s weekend. Joy and I decided to read one of our favorites again together, Where the Red F...

From whatwewriteinbooks.tumblr.com… I, too, have wanted more than a friendship. always, Lisa This photo is from the Inscription Project.I love thinking about what Lisa might have meant. Did she want more than friendship from the receiver of this book? Did he/she return Lisa’s affections? And how did this end up out of their hands? So […]

It’s a very lightweight blogging platform, so if for anyone who is new to blogging or doesn’t feel comfortable with WordPress or other platforms, it may work for you.
It’s focused on images and videos which draw people to an online conversation like nothing else. It’s super easy to post from Instagram to Tumblr.

My first NaNoWriMo was in 2003. My second was in 2004. The first draft from that NaNoWriMo became THE MOMENT OF EVERYTHING.

So I have deep affection for National Novel Writing Month.

The setting

facebook twitter reddit pinterest mail facebook twitter reddit pinterest mail by featherwss

THE MOMENT OF EVERYTHING takes place in Mountain View, CA, the heart of Silicon Valley, where I moved in 1994 and lived for 15 years. It’s still my favorite part of Silicon Valley. The people in Silicon Valley are driven and passionate. They have a deep longing for something: for discovery, for invention, and for love.
