VBT for A Shot In The Arm - An interview with Barry Willdorf

Hey beautiful people!

I showcased this book here last week, and today I'm pleased to welcome the man behind the story, author Barry Willdorf. Barry's answered my interview questions, and I've loved reading his deep, heart-felt answers.

Read on for a glimpse into his mind!

Tell us a bit about you, and something we don't know/wouldn't expect about you.

I am a winner of a Global E-book award in historical fiction and also an EPIC finalist for The Flight of the Sorceress (Wild Child Publishing). ...

Tidbit Tuesday: Fierce Dolan & Gigolo Seduction

Hey beautiful people!

I'm pleased to welcome a fellow Decadent Publishing author today - the amazing & super-nice Fierce Dolan. Fierce describes writing as mezzofiction - read on for clarifications about this tag!

So, Fierce, love to have you over.

Tell us a bit about you, and something we don't know/wouldn't expect about you.

I’ve been a professional writer for 20 years, an author for 8, and played percussion with my teeth since I first got them.  Yes, you read that correctly.  My...

Where I've been this week... in guest posts!

Hey beautiful people!

It's been another crazy-zany insane week as I plant my feet firmly down on the floor of this roller-coaster ride called Promo... Needless to say, I didn't get much else done, writing-wise... But there's a time for everything, and hopefully, my WIP, Transient Hearts, will receive my full attention as from next week, when I've come to grips with this ride called Promo and my writing-stomach has calmed down from all the twists and loops on that journey. :)

So I've been to a f...

Six Sentence Sunday: Before The Morning #7

Hey beautiful people!

A very happy & bright Sunday to you! I'm in high spirits, yeah - my book came out last week, and today's a special day as well, since my baby boy turns 9. :) And no, before you mention it - it's not Mother's Day here in Mauritius; we celebrate that the last Sunday of May. But anyhow, today is a beautiful day! *grin*

And it's made even nicer thanks to Six Sentence Sunday. I absolutely love coming here on Sundays to post my snippet and share it with you peeps; to read yo...

How I saw the characters of BEFORE THE MORNING

Hey beautiful people!

No progress report this week, as all my time's gone into the release of Before The Morning, Book 2 of the Corpus Brides series.

I've been with this story for the past year and a half, got it brewing inside my head for all this time, though I actually put fingers to keyboard and started it back in August of 2011.

And all this time, these characters have been with me. I heard them talk, I saw them in their daily lives - I could literally picture them, full-bodied people...

Thi...

BOOK TOUR: Hellenic Immortal by Gene Doucette

Hey peeps!

Taking part in the blog tour for the release of Hellenic Immortal, the sequel to Immortal, by Gene Doucette.

I had a chance to read an ARC of this book, and here's my review of it:

Once again, Gene Doucette doesn't disappoint! With the sequel to his debut, Immortal, the 1st-person account of an immortal man named Adam, he hits the same right notes of intrigue, humour, and a riveting plot.
Hellenic Immortal takes us to shortly after the first book left off. Clara, the other, human-engin...

Tidbit Tuesday #2: Ravished Before Sunrise by Lia Davis!

Hey beautiful people!

Another post today (yes, I'm on a roll, innit?). I'm delighted to welcome author Lia Davis. I met Lia on a crit loop, and soon after, we shared a publisher too. A lovely person, Lia always has a nice word and good cheer to give to everyone, and has that special, wonderful touch that turns mere acquaintances into friends faster than you can say 'Twister!'

Lia is a fellow 1NS writer, and today she's telling us a little more about herself, and about her 1NS release, Ravished...
