Battle of the Sexes Playlist: in the current Pop Music scene, who wins - Girls, or Boys?

Hey peeps!

Ages since I last posted on a Tuesday, innit? Then with all my writing projects lately, I have barely had a minute to pop on here for longer than to put an interview doc or a guest post on. Last week, I even had to veg out and thus, missed a whole week's posting here. Apologies... and I hope the posts from today onwards will help with getting back into your good books. (Okay, a girl can dream, right? *wink*)

So, ye all know I'm hooked on Brit Pop. I even did a post a while back featu...

#sixsunday Before The Morning #32: And the plot thickens, thanks to...

Hey beautiful people!

Goodness, been ages since I last been here... I also apologise to everyone who visited last week, because I haven't been able to acknowledge your comments and visit back. It's been an insane past 10 days, with me scrambling to put 3 submissions together, and after managing that on Wednesday, I just crashed.

But time to pick myself up and get on with everything, ditch this zombie persona for a more lively one. Starting with Six Sentence Sunday!

I've just been informed Before...

#sixsunday Before The Morning #31: And they lived happily ever after...?

Hey beautiful people!

My brain is absolutely scrambled right now, thanks to the awful heat wave going on here. Remember - I told you that, once summer comes around, you'd hear me complain of the heat when this is all I wanted during the dreary cold winter months. :)

But, it's Sunday, and I've finally managed to curb the blokes' enthusiasm here and got them to stay home for a day. So here's me finally able to sit down with a Virgin Mojito while downing Six Sentence Sunday snippets in front of a...

Author Liza O'Connor interviews her characters from SAVING CASEY

Hey beautiful people!

Pleasure today to welcome a new author who recently joined the Deacdent Publishing author loop. Liza O'Connor is a delightful, slightly nutty lady, and an absolute joy to know. Trust me, she can brighten any day with her wit. *grin*

Her debut release, Saving Casey, has already been climbing the charts and earning rave reviews.

I asked her over, and Liza is interviewing the characters from her book today. Take a look-see: you won't be disappointed!

Liza, floor's yours!

Liza:...

#sixsunday Before The Morning #30 - And Ash's secret is...

Hey peeps!

Beautiful Sunday here, but thanks to the heat wave raging on our island right now, everyone's beat by the absolute level of warmth. Nothing better to imagine than sitting down in an air-con room or in front of a blowing fan... and reading. :) Join me for Six Sentence Sunday?

Back once more in Vegas - because this chapter/scene is a pivotal one in the book.

Last week, I'd hinted that Ash, former cop turned ambulance worker, carried a heavy secret. A new beginning with his childhood bes...

#DecadentBFHop When Love Needs A Little Push - #1NS stories from Zee Monodee

Hey beautiful people!

Been waiting for this Black Friday Decadent Publishing Hop ever since the lovely Jessica E. Subject threw the notion into the ring of Decadent Authors. It's been a few, looong, weeks, in arriving, but here we are...

...and I have no clue what to talk about! Yes, Zee is speechless. And no, it's not Turkey Coma, or crashing from a super-high of Black Friday Shopping and haggling (sadly... I'd always loved, loved, loved the equivalent in the UK: Boxing Day, on Dec 26. Anyhow....

Author J.Lawrence visits!

Hey beautiful people!

Happy Thanksgiving week to all of you in the US. I'm popping in quick today to welcome someone on the blog. I met this bloke a little while ago on the indie loop I belong to, and soon found out he was a riot, engaging, and an absolutely delightful person. His name? J. Lawrence (yes, the initial is very mysterious, innit?)

Here he is, answering some kooky questions!

Tell us a bit about you, and something we don't know/wouldn't expect about you.

First of all, thank you very mu...

Hey beautiful people!

For once, a beautiful, gorgeous summer sun is shining down on us during a weekend. We'd been treated to god-awful windy, rainy weather these past few weeks, and to have a small blast of heat with lots of brightness is a boon.

There's something about bright lights that gets me all revved up - what about you? Care to join me on a Six Sentence Sunday trip?

I'm still in Vegas, in the wedding night bedroom. Last week, Ash Gilfoy, former cop turned ambulance worker in London, wok...

S.L. Scott, Author of NATURALLY, CHARLIE, drops by for an interview!

Hey beautiful people!

A little while ago, I came upon a book that was releasing in November. Since I'm always on the path looking for good books, modern fare, contemporary romance, rom-com/chick-lit feel, this one caught my eye with its cover. Love at first glance - yes, it was for me! The title - Naturally, Charlie - and the blurb (following down) further had me excited to read this one.

I just started this, so unfortunately, I'm not able to review it today here. But the little I've seen alrea...
