Two high school seniors in San Francisco that have been in Lion Dance classes together since they were little kids and they are now partners in a finals championship. The above video is a good idea of the style and you can really see how the two dancers have to move together. I don’t know how many teams SF has but there are a lot and you see all ages performing at cultural events.
One of the kids is in love with the other and is afraid to say anything about it but the hours of very physical practice are getting to him. There could also be some nice details about Chinese culture in the Bay Area.

Review: This is an unexpected and charming story, with well written kink and flawed, interesting characters. I really like Dr. Noh’s writing and there is more of it here. Sleeping is also really nice.
