Watch our teaser trailer for Peter Pan
This September we are incredibly proud to be publishing the second title in our Nosy Crow Classics collection: Peter Pan, by J.M. Barrie, re-told in rhyme by Caryl Hart and illustrated by Sarah Warburton. And today we’re thrilled to share our teaser trailer for the book!
Just like our first Nosy Crow Classic, The Velveteen Rabbit, our edition of Peter Pan will be a stunning physical object as well as a wonderful story: we’re publishing the book in a beautiful cloth hardback format, complete with a specially-foiled jacket, luxurious paper, and a ribbon marker.
With beautiful artwork by Sarah Warburton, and a wonderful new rhyming text by Caryl Hart, this new version of the classic tale is a perfect gift – a wonderful book to treasure and share, bringing an old favourite story to a new generation.

It’s our August publication day!
It’s our August publication day – and there are some wonderful new books from Nosy Crow out this month! From non-fiction to picture books and middle-grade fiction, there’s something for everyone. Here’s a look at what you can find in shops now.
To kick things off, we have a pair of captivating new board books in our First Concepts series, featuring objects from the British Museum – Nature and Around the World. Discover amazing objects and simple first concepts in this stylish photographic board book series for curious little ones. This September we’re delighted to be publishing Max the Detective Cat: The Phantom Portrait, written by Sarah Todd Taylor and illustrated by Nicola Kinnear – the hugely exciting second instalment in the Max the Detective Cat middle-grade mystery series.

Take a first look inside The Rabbit, the Dark and the Biscuit Tin – the brand new picture book by Nicola O’Byrne
This September we’re incredibly pleased to be publishing The Rabbit, the Dark and the Biscuit Tin – a brand new picture book by Nicola O’Byrne, the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize-winning ilustrator of Open Very Carefully.

Rabbit doesn’t want to go to bed, so he decides to kidnap The Dark in a biscuit tin and stay up ALL NIGHT LONG. But The Dark soon reminds Rabbit of all the good things that he does.
