CUSTOM FURY TOY FROM DARKSIDERS 3 BY DSNG! [MARVEL LEGENDS SCALE]
Something new for 2018! Here's Fury from the forthcoming game Darksiders 3!
Fury was created by artist Joe Mad a few years ago [between 2007 - 2009, before Darksiders 1 was released in 2010]. And the latest game, Darksiders 3, was created by GunFire Games [developer] & THQ Nordic [publisher], and that game is slated to be released this year on November 28.
The base body was Marvel Legends Angela, so with her heels she is roughly 6.5 inches tall. Plus I took some parts from a few other toys. So her head and neck came from Enchantress, her chest came from Lady Thor, her arms came from Angela, while her gripping hands came from Hellcat. Her whip was modified and it came from Thundra's weapon, with the handle from Blackcat's whip.
I sculpted her front and rear armor, enhanced gauntlets and boots, while I used a small piece of cloth for her two skirts [on the front and back]. The sculpted details on her left an right thighs are different. She was hand-painted with Tamiya paints, using metallic gray and gloss black. I had to sculpt her hair, and her left shoulder-pad is quite flexible [made from Green stuff putty], so you can move the shoulder-pad around, in order to move her left arm. This might be one of my fav customs of the year...

GET TO THA CHOPPAAA!!!!!! ART INSPIRATION AND OTHER STUFF FEATURING ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER AND WILT CHAMBERLAIN
Get To Tha Choppaaaa!!
Back in 1982 , the movie titled Conan The Barbarian was released, featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger [6 feet 2 inches tall] as Conan, shown in the first pic. it was a fantasy sword-and-sandal film, and it started a cult-like following.
And in 1984, a sequel was filmed, titled Conan The Destroyer. Arnold returned to play the title role, and that movie added Wilt Chamberlain as a co-starring fighter named Bombaata.
No doubt, Arnold was and still is a big boy. And in the two other pics from 1984, he was on the set with Wilt Chamberlain [7 feet 1 inches] and Andre the Giant [7 feet 4 inches]. That pic puts things in perspective. Some guys are big, and others are much bigger.
Anyway, Arnold has an impressive physique that can be used as art references for drawing muscles.
Some Facts: Through bodybuilding, back in 1970 Arnold became Mr. Olympia at the age of 23, a record he still holds to this day per his age at that time. And Wilt once scored 100 points in the NBA, while playing for the Philadelphia Warriors back in 1962. And Andre used to sit in the central aisle on the floor while traveling on smaller private planes, because the chairs were too small.

CUSTOM SILVER SABLE TOY [MARVEL LEGENDS SCALE] BY DSNG!
Another recent custom: Silver Sable!
She is one of the Spider-Man characters locked in the gray zone; you can't call her a good guy, or a bad guy, since she and her Wild Pack Team of mercenaries are locked somewhere in-between.
The top body, face and arms came from Marvel Legends Thundra, while the torso and thighs came from Lady Thor. The lower legs, the belt and knees came from Domino. And I added a lot of sculpting to her boots, and I sculpted the rest of her armor and her thick / thicc body. The shield came from Captain America and her handguns came from ebay, although they were customized as well. She has three guns, and her extra gun is holstered at her left thigh.
Her hair came from Black Cat and I added a lot of sculpted gray highlights to it. She was spray-painted and hand-painted with Tamiya paints. Enjoy and Share!

CUSTOM MRS INCREDIBLE / ELASTIGIRL TOY! MARVEL LEGENDS SCALE BY DSNG!
I recently completed this one. Mrs. Incredible / Elastigirl, created on the 6-inch Marvel Legends Scale. This was a fun build, and it fits perfectly with my style.
The base body / lower torso / upper thighs were from Spider Woman, while the chest & upper torso were from Thundra. The arms were from Spider woman and Thundra, while the long lower legs & feet were also from Thundra. Her costume features were sculpted, along with the logo centered upon her chest. For the colors, Tamiya Flat Black XF1, Lemon Yellow, Flat brown & Glossy Red X7 were used; and her hair was fully sculpted with green stuff putty. Her face came from Enchantress, but it's almost not recognizable, with her painted black cowl and her new hairstyle. And yes, since Mrs Incredible is naturally thick / thicc, I gave her dat ass... MORE JAZMINE DUBOIS BOONDUCKS FAN ART BY DSNG!
This is the second fan art of Jazmine Dubois from the Boonducks cartoon, done in my DSNG art style. I drew her as a college student. But she's still recognizable, per her familiar afro-puffs. CUSTOM COBRA COMMANDER TOY FROM COBRA / GIJOE BY DSNG [MARVEL LEGENDS SCALE]
Those fans from the mid-80s and early-90s that are familiar with Cobra Commander will remember him as a rather clumsy top villain. It was usually Destro, Baroness and Dr. Mindbender that took care of business, while Storm Shadow was more of a hitman in my eyes.... and Zartan was always infiltrating and outsmarting the Joes, for a while at least. But there is one version of Cobra Commander that was really fierce, intelligent and lethal... it was from the cartoon movie titled: G.I. Joe Resolute, from 2009.
Anyway, the base body of this Cobra Commander toy was Marvel Legends Star Lord. I sculpted all of his silver & gray armor details, his mask, his gauntlets and his boots. Then I added a sword to his right hip and a handgun to his left hip. The belt glued across his chest was from the Casting Cave website. And his assault rifle was from ebay, while his cape came from Lady Thor. The tip of his cobra staff was sculpted, and it was added upon a plain staff that was taken from some fodder. CUSTOM BARONESS VER 2.0 FROM COBRA / GIJOE BY DSNG [MARVEL LEGENDS SCALE]
This is the second Baroness I've made and the first one is over HERE. And she was also shown with my custom Destro right HERE.
The base body for the Baroness was Marvel Legends Enchantress. And her hands and her head came from Mockingbird. I sculpted her top, her belt, her pouches, her boots and her gauntlets. Beyond the ones she's holding, her second set of handguns came from Star Lord and they are held via magnets at her thighs. There is a gun holster down at her left boot, And I also gave her an extra machine-gun, which isn't shown; so she has a total of six guns.
My new Zarana is also shown in some of the pics, and her full gallery is over HERE.

CUSTOM ZARANA TOY FROM COBRA / GIJOE BY DSNG [MARVEL LEGENDS SCALE]
Here's another new member of my cobra team! Zarana is the younger sister of Zartan [posted over HERE], and she also has a twin brother named Zandar [I haven't made a custom toy of him yet].
The base body of this Zarana toy was Marvel Legends Lady Thor, while her arms came from the Hulkbuster Valkyrie. Her hair was sculpted from green-stuff and her body armor was sculpted from Milliput putty. Her guns were from ebay and the large M16 assault rifle was heavily customized. Her head and belt came from Tundra and her boots were sculpted, in the front side and behind. Her belt has sculpted pouches and some "grenade fodder" from Deadpool.
There is a pouch attached to the back of her belt via a magnet, making it removable. And two sub-machineguns are held via magnets at her thighs as well. She also has a special removable Arm Blaster affixed to her left arm, which had twin barrels and a central blade... you can see it better in one of the side-view pics. I did make her thick / thicc, per my personal preference.
She has five guns, one Arm Blaster and no swords, unlike the ninjas Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes. Thanks for looking, don't forget to Like and Share!

ORIGINAL CHARACTER: ALPHA LIGER CUSTOM TOY [MARVEL LEGENDS SCALE] BY DSNG!
Here's something I've been working on for a while. This is an Original Character; he is one of the DSNG villains, Alpha Liger!
The base body was Marvel Legends Erik Kilmonger. The lower legs came from demolition man. His batons were fully sculpted as were his armor pieces. And the head came from Star Lord. I pulled off Star Lord's hair and worked with a bald head. And his cool mohawk was sculpted, along with his mask and his "tiger stripes". Yet a Liger is a hybrid between a lion and a tiger; so this guy has incredible agility, along with electromagnetic powers.
He has two sets of hands [big clawed hands and smaller clawed hands], like the original base toy. And he had a custom machinegun made, but I didn't add it to the set of pics. Tamiya paints were used [flat black, gold and three coats of flat yellow], along with some markers for highlights applied here and there. Enjoy and Share!

THE BOONDUCKS FAN ART - RILEY, HUEY AND JAZMINE, DSNG STYLE!
Most of my fans on Facebook and Instagram have seen these hip-hop graffiti styled posters already. But I wanted to put them all in one place. The Boonducks started out as a comic strip by Aaron McGruder, back in 1996 and ended in 2006. Later the author began hiring other artists to draw the strips, while he did the writing.
Eventually in November 2005, it became a hit adult animated series on Cartoon Network's late-night block called Adult Swim, and I think it ran for 4 seasons [although Aaron left the show after the 3rd season ended]. The show ended in June 2014 and it had 55 episodes.
If you saw the original comic strips, the art of the Boonducks did evolve over the years, before the cartoon was launched. And now I've created three of the main characters as high school seniors [roughly 18 years old], in my style.
Their names are: Riley [future thug, with the high-top fade and DSNG finger name rings], Huey [future activist / governor, with the giant DJGemini chain] and Jazmine [the future thick wife of Riley - probably, man... just sayin'].
There's another main character called Grandad [voiced by the legendary guy John Witherspoon], whom I didn't draw... couldn't find a way to make him look cool like the others, but it's all good :)
