CUSTOM ANDREA GODDESS OF WAR TOY BY DSNG! [MARVEL LEGENDS SCALE]

This is my Original Character, Andrea the Goddess Of War, aka Lady Ares. She is a custom I did almost a year ago, before I put her aside and worked on other stuff. But I recently pulled her out and upgraded her paint and weapons, while adding more sculpted details to her silver armor.
The base body was Lady Thor Jane Foster. And her head & hands came from Thundra. Her shield came from Captain America and it was sculpted and repainted. Plus her spear was custom-made, from an ink pen's inner cartridge. The sword on her back is held by a magnet, while her extra He-Man sword came from ebay. For her total weapons, Andrea has two swords, two thigh-strapped daggers,  plus one spear and her shield. Enjoy and Share!

CUSTOM NIKOLAI BOZCHOV [THE HUNTZMAN] TOY BY DSNG [MARVEL LEGENDS SCALE]

Another new custom toy for 2019! This is an Original Character from my DSNG Sci Fi ebook series. His name is Nikolai Borchov, and he is a super-villain / mercenary, with special powers and military training.

The base toy was Marvel Legends Thor, while his core boots came from Captain Britain. Everything else was sculpted, like his hair, beard, body armor, pouches, gun holsters and other gear.
The handguns came from ebay, and one rear rifle came from a Gears Of War toy. Some of the guns were heavily modified with putty as well. His gun-vest came from Bishop and his ax weapon came from Thor, the base model.
In a way, Nikolai is like a custom GIJOE toy, but this is my own original character design.
He has six guns and one dagger holstered behind his right thigh. He was hand-painted with Tamiya paints. Enjoy and Share!

EXPLORING DSNG PART 31 - DSNG BOOK 20 HAS BEEN LAUNCHED!

I can't believe that I didn't make this post last year in 2018... but I did post it in Facebook and Instagram...
Anyway, DSNG Chronicles Book 20 has been launched as an ebook at Amazon!

The story-line is Part 2 of the War Games. And it is centered on the adventures of Vince Garroth [an Alpha Senturi super-soldier] and Teela Storm, a Taranian young lady, who is Vince's business associate.
Together they get stranded on an aquatic planet, in a neighboring sector of the Makuran Galaxy... and all hell breaks loose, because of the wild male & female pirates, a commencing gladiator tournament, and other terrorist activities that are already taking place on that Water World, where there are three major aquatic races: The Zarchons, The Newterons and The Nauticons...

Shown on the cover of the ebook is Captain L. Sharkka, a fierce female Pirate, and part of the infamous Newteron Death Mongers.

The dynamic sci fi adventure continues with the Twentieth installment of the DSNG series! On the Water World of planet Macur, after being rescued by Akmerah the Nauticon pirate and her henchmen, Commander Vince Garroth, Teela Storm and Professor Axel find themselves being thrust into an ancient competition on planet Macur: the Infamous bloody gladiator tournament known as the War Games!

But the day before the War Games begin, the atmosphere at the undersea Krator Dome is laced tension, since the three new guests are viewed as unworthy ractracons—aka prisoners. And that is what the three foreigners really are, at this point. Plus some members of the Top 8 gladiators also begin to target Vince, for diverse reasons; and one of those reasons is that he is a special foreign fighter, specifically an Averan super soldier, who is being inserted as an unpredictable wildcard into the War Games by the urges of Akmerah. And now, Vince and Teela both get to interact with various individuals from the three main aquatic races on Macur: The Zarchons, the Nauticons and the Newterons. Yet some of these aquatic aliens are friends, while others are foes in disguise...

 Conversely, the current gladiator champion is a potent Zarchon named Kreg-Mon the Monsoon. And following a previous exhibition of his strength before the eyes of some sponsors, Kreg has embarked upon a peculiar covert crusade to the Astronus Combat Pit. And his undisclosed venture will have far reaching consequences that will undoubtedly affect everyone within the Krator Dome. But Kreg has already given a kill-order to two pirates at the Dome, since there is someone that he desires to terminate before the Games even begin... Yet Drak-Jar the Fisherman is the bold and powerful Director of the Krator Dome. Despite his charisma and his broad grins, he is a vicious war veteran with a beastly mutant-form, which everyone fears. And some of his secretaries fear that he may be suffering from a strong case of PTSD….

Additionally, Drak-Jar’s team of ten pirates has been dwindling like fading sparks over the past few years, per the vicious hand of Captain Lita Sharkka, the female Death Monger who adorns herself in jet-black armor, while she wears a sleek black mask with four red eyes. Hence the only four surviving pirates that serve Drak-Jar are: Ratgar, Kral-Don, Zan-Jar and Akmerah—and she’s the only female in the group, who seems to be the most loyal to the Fisherman. It is obvious Drak-Jar fears Captain Sharkka, as do the other violent Zarchons that have ancient ties to the cult of the Dark Veins. And they also fear that Sharkka may strike during the ongoing War Games…

And following a recent attack by two assassins while aboard a Class3 dropship, Akmerah continues her journey wit Teela, Lindra and Professor Axel, since she intends to visit the laboratory of the robotics professor named Han Harrig. And it is rumored that Han may have ties to the mysterious Death Monger known as Captain Sharkka. Teela also begins her training for the War Games under the guiding hand of Lindra, while she anticipates her reunion with Vince—who was left back at the Dome.

But Teela is also in possession of the Mystic Golden Key, which Professor Axel is fully aware of… and Axel is the only one who knows what that special key is truly capable of. But back at the Dome, after having a strange terrifying dream, Vince wakes up covered in sweat and fear. And he soon ends up in a fight for his life… and if he loses this battle, he may not make it to the War Games, in order to fight and earn his freedom!

All right guys, I haven't got any special Valentines Day art to share. I've just been too busy lately. But I do have some profiles of the tough guys from DC Comics: Batman Green Lantern, and Superman! These were quick pencil sketches on small pieces of paper, so details were limited...

UPDATED GALLERY - DSNG CUSTOM TRANSFORMERS: WINDSTORM TOY! [ ROBOTS IN DISGUISE, WARRIOR CLASS WINDBLADE ]

I had to take some new pics of this cool custom gal, since the former set of pics were a bit too low in quality ;)

Anyway, I made this customized version of WindStorm [based on the red-colored RID WindBlade toy] a few years ago, although I never shared it online. But I recently dusted her off, repainted her and added some new features to her body. I made her taller by resculpting her torso, her chest and her body armor. So she doesn't transform, but that's fine with me.

DSNG CUSTOM TRANSFORMERS: WINDSTORM TOY! [ ROBOTS IN DISGUISE, WARRIOR CLASS WINDBLADE ]

I made this customized version of WindStorm [based on the red-colored RID WindBlade toy] a few years ago, although I never shared it online.  But I recently dusted her off, repainted her and added some new features to her body.

Her midsection and crotch piece were resculpted with putty, as were the additions to her thighs and her legs. Her heavy handguns came from an IronFactory third-party TF toy, while the Cannon attached to her back with a magnet came from a Gundam toy. She doesn't transform, since I enhanced her torso and made her taller. But I don't mind that fact, since she is displayed as a robot.

MORE FAN ART OF MYA FUNKE, FROM THE DSNG SCI FI SERIES!

As promised, here are the two colored posters of Mya Funke Inaki. I'll upload them to my social media sites later. But those loyal fans that still browse through this blog will get to see them first ;)

Mya is actually a former villain linked to the faction known as the Mega Wolves, but she has a loyal heart and a motherly soul. In the past storyline, on Planet Avera, the Mega Wolves were tied to an uprising in the mega state of Dalterland, which was called the Rise of The Majuti Clan. And Mya served in the devious faction of General Azaji Majuti, as one of his elites soldiers, along with Duke, Zon, Helen, Festus The Sorcerer, Zoya The Policewoman, and some others...
But unlike Zon and Duke, Mya was never part of the Averan military [aka the Centura], so not much was known about her origins.
Mya usually sports two afro puffs, but sometimes she just lets her afro sit on her head. In some other pics, I draw her with her sci fi combat gear.

In the DSNG tales, Mya is currently linked to a group of mercenaries, who often show up to get gritty jobs done – and they work for the highest bidder, so they can either be classified as good or bad guys. And as a super-human being, Mya has a powerful secret morphing ability, which can transform her limbs or her entire body. And Mya has extremely powerful legs, so she can fracture the arms and legs of her foes via a few direct Muay Thai strikes. Her kicks are as powerful as those of Tezmona the gladiator [aka Tezzy, who was one of the gladiators featured in the four-part ebook  DSNG War Games storyline, available for download on Amazon].

CUSTOM RED HOOD VER 3.0 BY DSNG [MARVEL LEGENDS SCALE]

This Red Hood custom toy is the third version I've made. Had to add some new tricks here and there, but it turned out OK.
Btw, I'm not sure Red Hood will show up in the new Young Justice Outsiders cartoon, but we'll see...

The base body was the Legends Captain America Civil War. And his helmet was fully sculpted, as was his body armor and boots. The arms and jacket came from Star Lord, while the guns came from ebay and the Casting Cave website. I sculpted his backpack holster so that it could hold the uzis and the custom sword from Taskmaster. The gun-straps and holsters were sculpted, as was the logo on his chest. He was hand-painted with Tamiya pints. And he has a total of 5 guns and 1 sword.

7 MOTIVATIONAL TIPS FOR THE NEW YEAR FROM DSNG!

You made it!! Happy New Year guys!!!
First, here’s some behind-the-scenes artwork featuring Mya Funke Inaki from the DSNG Sci fi Series!  All right, now that the new year is kicking off, I’ll give you some brief tips to motivate you. Consider them as 7 pointers, brief and incisive, to guide you on your new journey.

1. Leave the past in yesterday – The new year is new beginning. Don’t let the old failures or old relationships hold you back. Press on.
Yes, you can do it. This year, you can make it. You will win if you don’t quit! Hard times come to those who are carriers of great destiny. And you, my friend, are Great! You must believe that you can succeed against all the odds, because I guarantee you that there’s someone else out there older than you, maybe in a foreign country, who has succeeded in the years past, and they had less than what you have!

2. Write down your goals – This sounds basic, but it serves as a guide / road map for you. The list doesn’t have to be long. Just do your best this year to get the written things done. Print them out and put them on your mirror, or on the inside of your bedroom’s door. And even if you don’t get them all done, at least they will be a measuring stick for your progress.

3. Forge new alliances & break the bad ones – Some friends are worth having, while others are best to let go of, especially when they don’t motivate you to be better. Some friends actually don’t want you to excel in life, lest you become too big / successful for them to mentally handle. Beware of those who Never say: “Well done!”, when they see your exceptional work.
I’ve had to cut a lot of people off because of that stuff. I was always congratulation them, yet they could never do the same, even when my art clearly outclasses theirs… turns out that they were jealous. And jealous people are really not your true friends.

4. Find a mentor – If you’re a technician, an engineer, a doctor, a lawyer, a student or an artist, make sure that you have a mentor that you observe and emulate at school or at work. You don’t have to be exactly like them, but you can certainly learn from them, especially from their mistakes. For instance, anyone who wants to be as great as the late Stan Lee should carefully study his work, his creative style and his personal character. Remember that Spiderman’s popularity was tied o the fact that he was a friendly neighborhood kind of guy, whom a lot of people could relate to…

5. Be more than a spectator – These days, we're all bombarded with a ton of social media offerings, from Twitter to Facebook and Instagram, and even sites like Twitch and Discord for gamers. Beyond watching others perform, you can also have a social Youtube page of your own, or something else on another site with your own creative posts. You don’t have to be popular. Just do something of your own, which will keep you creative in your free time. If your hands are weak, then speak and record your voice, while reading stuff that you like, or making jokes on your channel, as commentary for life or the news. Or you could talk and give commentary, for the movies that you like.
BTW, if you have a family, then spend time with them, since that's more valuable than being a star on Youtube ;)

6. Forgive and press on – Honestly, not every past year ends on a good note. And if someone hurt you last year, please forgive them. I don’t know what they did to you, and I’m sorry that it happened to you; but it would be wise to let them go. Maybe they were completely wrong… maybe you were both kinda wrong. But please, drop the grudge and let it go. What they sow, they will reap, at the right time. You may have to cut them off completely, if they are toxic. You may even have divorce them, I dunno.
But you may also have to keep talking to yourself, anytime they enter your mind; and just keep telling yourself: “It’s over I have forgiven them and moved on!”
If you keep saying stuff like that, even when you don’t feel like it, your mind will start believing it. I know what it’s like to record my voice saying stuff and play it on my computer as I work, just to force negative / depressing thoughts out of my mind. It worked… after many months of talking to myself… so don’t give up!

7. Laugh, damn it! – When you have the time, seek out humor and brief funny vids online, and if possible, do so every day! Look for comedians from other races and diverse backgrounds, and observe their culture and what makes them laugh. I’m sure you’ll find out that laughter is one of the things that every person around the world can share, regardless of their cultural heritage. Laughter also helps to fight depression, because a joyful mind can’t stay down for long.
On Youtube, look up the classics of Def Comedy Jam and BET’s Comic View [some of that stuff is raunchy / raw, but it’s funny as hell]. So if it’s funny, then laugh! And have a great year!- Article written by the artist & author of the DSNG Sci Fi Series

CUSTOM GIN GARAMADU TOY BY DSNG! MARVEL LEGENDS SCALE!

This custom is tied to one of the Original Characters from the dynamic mature ebooks of the DSNG Sci Fi Series, available on Amazon. Gin Gamaradu is a Paragon being [a retired God of War], and he has diverse abilities that are tied to his ancient race.

The base toy was Marvel Legends Bishop and the lower legs came from Thor [and they were heavily sculpted and enhanced]. I sculpted his boots, body armor and gauntlets and shoulder pads. Plus his laser cannon came from a Gundam model kit, while his cape came from Thor and his sword came from Ares [and it was enhanced and sculpted]. His two handguns were custom made, and one is held, while the other is holstered. his shield came from Captain America and it was heavily resculpted as well, while a magnet is used to hold it in place on his left arm. The pteruge [battle-skirt] in the front came from a white cloth. it was painted and sculpt was added. His hair was sculpted as well, super-saiyan style.
In the DSNG lore, Gin's sword can transform into a golden gauntlet, but I just had to leave out that feature for the toy ;) As a Paragon, Gin is an ancient being, and his eyes can glow bright white; so they were painted that way.
