Unusual Cause of Death Released for Super Bowl Sports Reporter
Super Bowl sports reporter Adan Manzano's unusual cause of death was released in a news conference.
According to the Associated Press, Manzano died in a New Orleans, Louisiana, suburb while in town to cover the Super Bowl for Telemundo. Manzano was "a sideline reporter with the Chiefs TV crew," People reported.
In the March 18, 2025, news conference, coroner Dr. Jerry Satanovich said the cause of death was Xanax mixed with alcohol and positional asphyxia. The journalist was discovered face down in a pillow, the coroner said. This all left him unable to breathe, the coroner revealed.

“Both of them are central nervous system depressants, and when you add them up they’re really bad,” he said, adding: “One of the dangers is you end up in a position where you are obstructing your ability to breathe.”
Manzano's blood alcohol level was .232, authorities said.
According to the Office of Justice Programs, positional asphyxia is a somewhat rare phenomenon sometimes seen in in-custody deaths. It's a situation in which "body position interferes with the ability to breathe. Several pre-existing factors are identified that increase an individual’s susceptibility to positional asphyxia, including cocaine-induced frenzied behavior, other drugs and/or alcohol intoxication, violent struggle resulting in restraint of subject, and unresponsiveness during or immediately after struggle."
However, The AP reported that it's not clear whether Manzano died accidentally or was murdered intentionally.
Despite the lack of clarity by the coroner over the manner of death (as opposed to the cause), Danette Colbert is now accused of second-degree murder in connection with Manzano's death, AP reported. Authorities have accused an alleged accomplice, Ricky White, of theft and fraud.
AP noted that police say security video captured Colbert and Manzano going to his hotel before she left without him. She is then accused of using his credit card, AP reported. People reported that police also accused her of possessing Manzano's cell phone. He died on Feb. 5 in a hotel room.
According to AP, Colbert's attorney Stavros Panagoulopoulos previously accused authorities of operating on "assumptions," however.
Hilaria Baldwin Accused of 'Belittling' Husband Alec in Viral Video
Hilaria Baldwin was captured in a viral video ordering her husband Alec to stop talking.
"It's going to be great. You're a winner," Alec Baldwin says in the video.
Hilaria then waves her hand at him and says, "Oh my God, you're not talking. No, when I'm talking, you're not talking. That's why, yes, we're going to have to cut him out of the show."
"I'm sorry," Alec Baldwin responded.
The video excerpts have gone viral on social media. One X user accused Hilaria of "belittling her husband and embarrassing him on the red carpet."

According to The New York Post, the Baldwins were giving an Extra interview on their reality series The Baldwins at the Planet Hollywood Times Square opening party in New York City.
But others defended Hilaria, with one person writing, "He needed it. He was being rude. It’s refreshing to see someone belittle the belittler for a change." However, another X user opined, "This is tough to watch It’s one thing to have a little fun with each other but that felt a little too much on the public stage."
And another X user joked, "Alec Baldwin blinked twice. Y’all, we need to extract him from this hostage situation ASAP!"

In another excerpt, Hilaria went after Alec again.
"Oh my God, you're distracting me right now," Hilaria said, with Alec apologizing again.
"Like now you're doing that. Like why? Why are you distracting me?" Hilaria said.
"I'm captivated by your beauty," responded Baldwin.
"Oh my God, stop. You're annoying me. Stop," said Hilaria. "It's not cute, no. He's distracting me."
Angel Reese Sends 6-Word Message to Caitlin Clark Teammate
The inaugural Unrivaled season came to a close on Monday night with a title game between Rose Basketball Club and Vinyl Basketball Club.
Rose BC became the first champions in league history as the team received balanced scoring from its three starters, Brittney Sykes (21), Azura Stevens (19) and Chelsea Gray (18), en route to a 62-54 victory. The game pit two Indiana Fever players against each other as guard Lexie Hull took on Fever star Aliyah Boston.
Superstar guard Caitlin Clark was locked into the game, posting "One of them bouta come back angry and one happy uh oh," on an Instagram post the Fever made earlier during the day on Monday.
In another post from the team, Clark commented "@aliyah.boston you didn’t deserve this. I’m sorry," following her loss.
Boston later offered a message to Hull, who won $50,000 as a result of the game. "@lexiehull dinner on you maybe ? 🥹", she asked.
On Tuesday night, Hull took to social media to share photos from the celebration.

In the comments section she received a message from Rose BC teammate Angel Reese following the game. "set that mf off BIG LEXIE," Reese said in her message following the big win.
Reese did not play in the contest after suffering a hand injury in the team's final regular season game. Her rookie season was also cut short after suffering a wrist injury.

Caitlin Clark isn't the only member of the Indiana Fever dominating the offseason. Earlier this year guard Lexie Hull signed a new partnership with Athleta to become the latest face of the brand.
"It was just a very natural partnership for me," she told Who, What, Wear. "My favorite part is that the brand itself is so focused on empowering women—not only athletes but every woman. On the heels of controversy over her Netflix cooking and lifestyle show, the former Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is now being slammed for a video showing her making a green waffle.
"Only Meghan Markle could make a waffle look like a hostage," wrote one X user. Another X user called the controversy Megan's "green waffle drama."
"Hideous," declared another X user. However, others criticized the critics, saying it was ridiculous they were making so much out of a...green waffle, with some even accusing Meghan of making it look like Queen Elizabeth II.
Another X user wrote that the waffle looks like George Washington.

The waffle video, which Meghan posted to her Instagram story on St. Patrick's Day, has gone viral, with social media users questioning whether she actually made it and slamming the way it looked. People reported that Prince Harry previously revealed that the late Queen Elizabeth II gave their son Archie a waffle maker before she died, leading some to believe that Meghan was showcasing that gift.

Meghan has 2.5 million Instagram users since launching her page. The waffle video showed her making a green waffle with a kiwi mouth, blueberry eyes, and whipped cream hair. The video starts with her pouring green batter into a waffle maker. The waffle is then seen lying decorated on a plate with a brief glimpse of a child's hand.
The waffle video is no longer visible in Meghan's Instagram story, but it has been widely shared on other social media platforms.

One social media user called the green waffle "ridiculous" and an "awful green inedible thing." Others questioned whether the lines on the waffle lined up with the waffle maker. According to The New York Post, some social media users accused Meghan of not actually making the waffle.
However, others defended with Meghan, with one X user calling the criticism a "new low."

Christina Applegate offered a recent update on her ongoing battle with multiple sclerosis, a disease the actress was diagnosed with in August 2021 that ultimately led to her stepping away from regular work on the screen, given the significant affect it had in filming the final season of popular Netflix series Dead to Me.
But a positive and candid approach has always seemed to prevail throughout since the 53-year-old actress was initially diagnosed, stating in March of last year that she was still "determined to live life to the fullest."
Nonetheless, on Tuesday's episode of her podcast, MeSsy with Christina Applegate and Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Applegate dove into greater detail regarding her battle with MS while taking questions from listeners.

"For three years, since I was diagnosed, I've been in the hospital upwards of 30 times from throwing up and diarrhea and pain," Applegate said. "That is unimaginable, OK? They've done every test known to man on me, put so much radiation into my body from CT scans to everything else."
Applegate went on to say that, "I have noticed — and I’m going to be really honest — if I have to poop, I puke," while also jokingly adding in typical fashion that her "favorite part" about her ongoing battle with MS is having diarrhea and vomiting simultaneously.
"Always have a little trash can next to your toilet, because you can do both without it being messy," the actress bluntly continued. "I had one yesterday."
For someone going through something as serious as multiple sclerosis along with what sounds like a near constant array of tests, scans, and unimaginable pain, it's pretty remarkable Applegate still manages to find a way to joke about it—in addition to doing a weekly podcast in the name of being a voice for others who might be going through similar struggles.

Tracy Morgan Wheeled Out of Knicks Game After Vomiting on the Court
Funnyman Tracy Morgan had a not-so-comical night at the Knicks game on Monday.
As the New York Post reports, the former 30 Rock star was taken out of Madison Square Garden on Monday night via wheelchair after he vomited from his courtside seat while watching the New York Knicks square off against the Miami Heat.

It was an unexpected—and concerning—turn of events for the Knicks fan, who is regularly seen sitting on the floor of the Garden. The incident occurred during the third quarter and forced play to be delayed while paramedics arrived to get Morgan the medical help he needed, and the Garden’s maintenance team cleaned the area.
Photos of the incident and a video of Morgan being wheeled out of the arena, with a towel over his face and clearly suffering a nosebleed, quickly began appearing on social media. Courtside Buzz posted to their Twitter/X account that Morgan was also having trouble standing up from his chair.

When reached for a comment by the New York Post, a MSG spokesperson said: “We hope Tracy feels better soon and look forward to seeing him back courtside.”
After New York handily whipped Miami 116-95, Knicks star Josh Hart offered his own words of encouragement for the former SNL star, who has been a regular at the Garden for decades. “We hope everything is good with Tracy Morgan, avid lifetime Knicks fan, so prayers go out to him and his health and safety,” Hart said.
It is unclear what led to Morgan’s illness. The comedian has faced several medical challenges in the past. He has struggled with Type 2 Diabetes for over a decade. In 2014, Morgan also sustained a traumatic brain injury after he was involved in a near-fatal car accident that took the life of his longtime friend and collaborator, Jimmy Mack.

When UNC head football coach Bill Belichick and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson walk into a room, heads turn. But when the 24-year-old former cheerleader posts photos of the two of them performing yoga acrobatics on a beach in Jupiter, Florida, hilarity ensues. Especially if you’re talking about it on ESPN.
On Monday’s episode of First Take, co-host Molly Qerim did her best to maintain control and decorum when it came to discussing the photos, which went viral over the weekend. In fact, Qerim seemed rather unimpressed by the 72-year-old’s leg strength, saying it looked like the couple was playing “airplane.”

“That’s like a game you do with a little kid, where they balance on your legs,” Qerim shared. “Why are you acting like that takes a lot of strength to lay on your back with your legs up?”
For his part, co-host Stephen A. Smith could barely breathe he was laughing so hard—and Shannon Sharpe was right there with him.
“MOLLY, HE’S 73!,” Smith shot back. While he aged Belichick up a year, it doesn’t really matter. “What is wrong with Molly?” Smith demanded to know of his co-host.
As amusing as he found the whole incident, Smith made it clear that he was legitimately envious of Belichick’s airplane skills. “Whatever he’s on, keep taking it,” Smith said. “He’s on something though. He’s on something. That ain’t naturale. I didn’t say natural; I say naturale. He’s taking something. I’m not mad at him at all. I want to know what it is."

At this point, Qerim asked if she could simply remove herself from the segment, but Sharpe wasn’t letting her off that easy. “Wouldn’t you want to go to Sag Harbor [and] have your partner have you in the air [like that]? I mean, that’s great. Who wouldn’t want to do that, Molly?”
Qerim still wasn’t buying that a holding another human being up with your legs was a massive achievement for a septuagenarian, so Sharpe laid it out for her in one simple sentence: “Hey, at 73, if you see me with my legs up like that, call the paramedics."
