I was made to rule the darkness
I am aiming for a December 2014 release. I totally believe I will make that deadline, but if anything changes, I will let you know :) I also plan to release a brand new series before this series concludes. The Eternally Trilogy is expected to release starting October 2 with Eternally #1—Wasteland. Continue to look for more updates on both of these books. I'm super excited about these stories!!! This is gonna be a GRAND year.

Tick-Tock, on the clock, must finish this boooook
yUUUP. Whyyyy? Because.
Over the weekend I had 3 people read the first half of it and now they are bugging me to finish it so they can read the rest. Plus, I have several other stories which are nagging me to WRITE ME! WRITE ME! so the sooner I finish this one, I can move on to the next one.
I NEED TO WRITE SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 20-40K more WORDS. That's the goal for this week, which is doable.
Today is Sunday and it's 9:38 am. I'm going to write and report my word count hourly or every two hours. My goal is to at least get 5,000 in today.
If I need 40k, I need to write 5,715 words each day on avg. Doable. Here we go :)

12:42 pm: And we've got nothing. Sigh. Game plan changer. I've been awake for waaaay too long and now I need a nap. So I'm gonna go do that and then I'm coming back here sometime tonight and I WILL write 10k. A MARATHON IS HAPPENING TONIGHT. #Yessss.

BLOO was a sad monster toy thing, because he had three eyes and people monsters made fun of him. They called him BOO EYED BLOO. His life was lonely.
And then he met LEMONAID.
She was the girl who wore her pink heart on her chest. Her smile was bright, and she brought sun into his life. Filled him with sooooo much happiness. And on that day, the day they met, he gazed at the lovely creature in front of him with all three of his eyes—both orange ones and his blue one�—and for the first time in his life, he was grateful he had three eyes, you see, because two eyes simply wouldn't've been enough for him to regard such a beauty.
He knew why her name was lemonaid. Everything made sense to him. He was no longer Blue and Melancholy. He learned that she, too, had been through a lot, but together they were impossibly happy.
He asked her to be his special somebody, and then he kissed her. And so their love story began.

The Crow—Whoa, how long have Evermores really existed?!
WHOA! How long have Evermores been around?! There was a story written about one, who was a prince, long before I wrote about them! And who knows, maybe this castle is the NEVERMORE CASTLE.
The short story is attached at the bottom.
So I strangely stumbled upon this fairytale, written in, IDK a long time ago? Because it is now in the public domain over at Project Gutenburg. But, as I was reading along, I was like, whoa! This Prince dude is a FREAKING EVERMORE! He shape-shifts into a black crow and he is a prince who lives in a castle and has a golden bed. Interesting indeed, because before there was Marcus Marble, the history of the Evermores extend centuries ago. They go back a long, long way. Who knows, maybe the Nevermore Castle they live in is the one in this story!!
Anyway, this is AWESOME!
I found it today. I didn't know it was there this entire time. Apparently, the guy in this story was cursed as a black crow. This is also interesting, because in my story, the very first black crow WAS a cursed crow. He was cursed by Apollo. Before he was a black crow, he was a gorgeous white crow. Then he was cursed. All of this is explained in The Pretty in Black series. :)
It never says if he's a VAMPIRE—but I'm just gonna take an educated guess. YES!
Also it mentions how the prince and princess lived for a hundred years, a hundred years of happiness and joy. This is EXACTLY how long the Evermores have to find true love before crossing over to the other side and meeting with their true death.
Also, it mentions something about a troop of strange evil beings entering the room. I wonder what THAT is all about and WHO THEY could be. Hahahaha! If you've read the first three books in the series, and are anticipating Evermore, then you will TOTALLY get this reference!!!! :D

Once upon a time there were three Princesses who were all three young and beautiful; but the youngest, although she was not fairer than the other two, was the most loveable of them all.
About half a mile from the palace in which they lived there stood a castle, which was uninhabited and almost a ruin, but the garden which surrounded it was a mass of blooming flowers, and in this garden the youngest Princess used often to walk.
One day when she was pacing to and fro under the lime trees, a black crow hopped out of a rose-bush in front of her. The poor beast was all torn and bleeding, and the kind little Princess was quite unhappy about it. When the crow saw this it turned to her and said:
'I am not really a black crow, but an enchanted Prince, who has been doomed to spend his youth in misery. If you only liked, Princess, you could save me. But you would have to say good-bye to all your own people, and come and be my constant companion in this ruined castle. There is one habitable room in it, in which there is a golden bed; there you will have to live all by yourself, and don't forget that whatever you may see or hear in the night you must not scream out, for if you give as much as a single cry my sufferings will be doubled.'
The good-natured Princess at once left her home and her family and hurried to the ruined castle, and took possession of the room with the golden bed.
When night approached she lay down, but though she shut her eyes tight sleep would not come. At midnight she heard to her great horror some one coming along the passage, and in a minute her door was flung wide open and a troop of strange beings entered the room. They at once proceeded to light a fire in the huge fire-place; then they placed a great cauldron of boiling water on it. When they had done this, they approached the bed on which the trembling girl lay, and, screaming and yelling all the time, they dragged her towards the cauldron. She nearly died with fright, but she never uttered a sound. Then of a sudden the cock crew, and all the evil spirits vanished.
At the same moment the crow appeared and hopped all round the room with joy. It thanked the Princess most heartily for her goodness, and said that its sufferings had already been greatly lessened.
Now one of the Princess's elder sisters, who was very inquisitive, had found out about everything, and went to pay her youngest sister a visit in the ruined castle. She implored her so urgently to let her spend the night with her in the golden bed, that at last the good-natured little Princess consented. But at midnight, when the odd folk appeared, the elder sister screamed with terror, and from this time on the youngest Princess insisted always on keeping watch alone.
So she lived in solitude all the day-time, and at night she would have been frightened, had she not been so brave; but every day the crow came and thanked her for her endurance, and assured her that his sufferings were far less than they had been.
And so two years passed away, when one day the crow came to the Princess and said: 'In another year I shall be freed from the spell I am under at present, because then the seven years will be over. But before I can resume my natural form, and take possession of the belongings of my forefathers, you must go out into the world and take service as a maidservant.'
The young Princess consented at once, and for a whole year she served as a maid; but in spite of her youth and beauty she was very badly treated, and suffered many things. One evening, when she was spinning flax, and had worked her little white hands weary, she heard a rustling beside her and a cry of joy. Then she saw a handsome youth standing beside her; who knelt down at her feet and kissed the little weary white hands.
'I am the Prince,' he said, 'who you in your goodness, when I was wandering about in the shape of a black crow, freed from the most awful torments. Come now to my castle with me, and let us live there happily together.'
So they went to the castle where they had both endured so much. But when they reached it, it was difficult to believe that it was the same, for it had all been rebuilt and done up again. And there they lived for a hundred years, a hundred years of joy and happiness.

12. Your story is unlike anything else currently out there. A New Adult Fairytale/Fantasy? How did you get Rae to write your story? How did you two meet?
She’s sort of in love with me. I appeared to her in a dream once and drew her portrait . After that, she basically did anything I told her asked her to do.
13. Not all fairytales have a Happily Ever After, right? Or am I wrong?
Depends on your idea of happily ever after. If you end up with me, then...
14. Something we don’t get too often is a narration from the monsters (is it okay if I call you that? No disrespect intended.) POV. But you do narrate this tale, correct?
Yeah, it’s okay. I’m the most gorgeous monster out there. I narrate my side of the story and Francesca narrates hers.

1. So you’re a “xombie” with pale skin and stitched blue lips? That is incredibly interesting. How did this come to be?
I was created in an attic by a teenage girl who wanted a boyfriend because her father didn't let her leave the house. He kept her captive there. He was a mad scientist. But his daughter had magick of her own.
My creator— Anastasia—first constructed me from stone, I was a sculpture. Then she brought me to life. I ended up with pale skin and blue lips because I didn't have any blood in my body. When my bottom lip cracked from the non-life in me, and from the freezing temperatures (not only was I created during winter, but since I didn’t have any blood I remained cold) she stitched it back together.
2. Do you have any memory of being created? What did it feel like?
Yes. It was horrifying. I’d rather not discuss it.
3. It’s rumored that you have things in common with Dr. Frankenstein’s monster and Tim Burton’s Edward Scissorhands. Could you tell us a few interesting things about this?
We are all three outcasts, abandoned by our creator and left alone in a world of which we do not understand. We are scarred and there are stitches to prove it.
4. So you’re a “xombie” and not a Zombie? What is a xombie?
A being created through magick which has no soul. I was never alive, I was never human. I've always been something different. Since I wasn't a reanimated human body, I couldn't be referred to as a zombie.
5. Zombies eat brains. What do you eat?

6. You’re also an artist, I hear. How did this begin and what kind of art do you enjoy?
I am art. Johnny He[Art]. What would you do if you were left in an attic alone for many years with all of your creator’s art materials? Turn the lemons into lemonade, so to speak. (Although Edward Scissorhands would absolutely hate this.) Haha. But he had his horticulture and I had my art.
7. If you could choose one song to describe you and the book, what song would it be?
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD—THE DEFTONES.
8. If you could choose one song to describe you and Francesca, what song would you select?
DREAMING—THE PHILTER.

9. If you could have just one wish, what would you wish for, Johnny Heart?
To be real.
10. I read two interesting quotes from your story:
“I’ve never wanted a heart as much as I want yours.”
and “When I kiss you, it will be THE kiss, and not just ‘a’ kiss.”
Could you explain what those quotes mean? We want to know what is the kiss? And what does it mean to want a heart so badly?
Can you use your imagination? I kiss way better than other (human) guys, and well, as for the last part...
11. Frankie’s Monster is a book that incorporates art, is this correct? If so, could you give us a few examples?

Auguste Rodin is my most admired sculptor. He has a statue called The Kiss. I replicate that art piece in a very real life form with Francesca.

The Midnight 10k
I'm working on 8 books at once! I'm crazzzzzy I know. But I've been splashing down dialogue, ideas, and scenes as quickly as they come, on each book. My MUSE has me in kamikaze mode. I've shuffled my novels around a bit, working on one here, one there, until one of them rises to the top of the list and begs for my attention. For the last week or so, it's been ETERNALLY #1 so I'm about to go HARD on it right now so I can move on to the next project that I'm itching to write and finish. (Experiment in Black #3)

QUICK FACTS ABOUT ETERNALLY.
Male POV!!it's also UPPER YA. (I'm not calling it "New Adult" because there isn't a lot of sex scenes which is what now, for some reason, is commonly expected from "New Adult." This book just has some mild profanity and perhaps a heated make out session or two. Or three. or TEN! It's a ROMANTIC HORROR! Can I get a Hell yeah?!It takes place in 1998! I was probably like maybe 10 years old in 1998? But I LOVE THE 90s! 90skid for LIFE!Okay! So it's 12:56 which means I better get back to my word document and go up for another 1k!
1:59 a.m. WE HAVE THE 2k DOWN! We are now at 32, 687! Whooo-hoo! 8k more to go! Round three coming up!
FUN FACT: My Gothic Boy in this novel IS AFRAID OF THE DARK! SHHH! It's a sekrit! Tell NO ONE or he'll be very mad at you!
3:15 a.m. I've now mastered 3k. Word Count Total: 33,905! 4k here we come. My next update won't be until about 4:30-ish because it's now 3:30 so I'm about 15-30 mins off my hourly schedule. I want to at least make it to 7k.
