Who is the Celebrity Money Archetype? The Ultimate Guide
The Celebrity Archetype is the fabulous star and impeccable tastemaker who loves the spotlight and microphone but sometimes lives way beyond their means on luxury goods, travel, and VIP experiences.
Sacred Money Archetypes® are a way of understanding how you are in the world, especially around finances - how you think, feel, and behave with money.
Of course, they are all about how you relate to money and wealth, but, as founder and creator of The Sacred Money Archetypes® program, and my money mentor, Kendall Summerhawk, explains,
“The way we do money, is the way we do everything.”
So discovering and working with these archetypes can have a profound impact on all areas of your life and business.
You can find out more about your Archetype and take the Money Archetypes Quiz here.
There are 8 Archetypes and this is your guide to the Celebrity.
The Celebrity’s charismatic personality makes them a magnet for attracting 5-star people and experiences. They love to bring on the bling, create a lot of attention, and they deeply appreciate the doors that money can open.
But under the glitz and glam, they may be overcompensating for self-esteem issues. The Celebrity can use their love of designer clothes as a shield to hide their insecurity and often bad money habits behind the scenes. They often have the champagne lifestyle on a tap water budget, making them feel like a fraudulent wannabe.
Celebrities might feel frustrated in the entrepreneurial world when they see people who seem to half-ass their business or put out substandard quality, moving ahead and making money.
Part of their worries are that they will overshadow others if they fully step into their full Celebrity power. But they're allowed to have both money and love; they don't have to choose! If they embrace their business gifts, they can buy everything on their dream board and create financial stability!
The Celebrity is you if you…
Value money as a tool to achieve the status, image and recognition you want.
Have no problem spending money to enhance your image, including designer brands, hip clothing, entertaining and plenty of bling.
Love to stand out in the crowd and impress people.
Likely didn't receive the approval, unconditional love or positive opinion from people important to you as a child.
Often have a charismatic or magnetic personality.
Love being recognized anytime they're generous.
Often project an image of wealth and success that might not match your bank account balance.
Have a business that often includes a lot of visibility or making a big impression.
Feel that by showing wealth you'll protect yourself from the negative opinions or judgment of others.
Each of the 8 Sacred Money Archetypes® has strengths and challenges.
Here are the Celebrity’s strengths, they;
Role model very high living standards and always know the right solution.
Effortlessly stand out in a crowd or on stage, and people love watching them shine in the spotlight.
Are incredibly generous with others, either with gifts or bringing them into their First Class world.
Are magnetic, confident, and radiant and inspire others to uplevel their image.
Makeover and help others to make a great impression.
Are a leader, trendsetter, and taste-maker. As a result, people come to them for trusted advice and recommendations.
The Celebrity’s challenges are that they;
Ignore growing debt problems and often don't pay attention to paying bills on time.
Get bored with logistical details in your business and often abandon almost finished projects.
May find themselves the target of jealousy from others and shrink themselves or their fabulousness.
Spend money to avoid feeling sad, bored, or unappreciated.
Overspend to impress or keep up with other people, even if they can't afford it.
Often value status above financial security and avoid thinking about the future.
Often ignore financial details and get late fees or fines.
What about real, famous people? How can you tell if someone is a Celebrity?
They will give little clues in their interviews, quotes, and entrepreneurial endeavors, and by watching their challenges play out in public!
Here are some famous people I think could have Celebrity tendencies, check out what they have said about money:
Elizabeth Taylor, actress, philanthropist, and entrepreneur
"You can't cry on a diamond's shoulder, and diamonds won't keep you warm at night, but they're sure fun when the sun shines."
Elton John, performer and philanthropist
"Unless you show off, you're not going to get noticed."
RuPaul, performer, and producer
"When you become the image of your own imagination, it's the most powerful thing you could ever do."

Here’s what some fellow Celebrities have said about discovering their Archetype and the Sacred Money Archetypes® business course:
"I love Sacred Money Archetypes! It really gave me a base to jump from in my personal life and it allowed me to see both my grandmother and mother in new lights, breaking some of those deep held family beliefs and stories."
SHANNON NICOLE
USA
Archetype: Celebrity
“Owning my Celebrity unashamedly has been so empowering for my life and business. I attract my ideal clients, I’m more magnetic. When I found out I was a Celebrity, I had a 30 second shock and then I just kind of fell into my own body. Everything made sense suddenly."
REBECA STORCK LIMA
Business Coach for Entrepreneurs, USA
Archetype: Celebrity
"I changed my entire business to work with my archetype. Before I did SMA, my Celebrity was hiding. Now I feel like I don't have to hold back. I want to show up more. I want to shine. I buy clothes other than black. For anybody that's considering SMA, know that your archetype could be hiding. Trauma and environment and relationships were some of the things that caused me to suppress my Celebrity."
JANET BERNSTEIN
Shine Coach & Author, USA
Archetype: Celebrity
"Being a Celebrity was no great surprise. I felt like finally, I get to own it and have really beautiful things. I work in show business. Knowing my archetype validated my experience on planet earth, as a performer. I've positioned myself in a place where I don't have to work very much. My Celebrity archetype knows that I need to have a hotel with really good pillows. To do a good job I need a comfortable, easy ride - I'm done with hustling. I’ve realized that the more I relax, the more money I make. I had my first 10K month last year. Since SMA, I start my mornings with health. I get up at half six and I’m straight in the hot tub where I meditate. My million dollar hot tub! I get my best ideas in there."
KERRI LAYTON
Music Agency Director, UK
Archetype: Celebrity
"Since doing the SMA course, I finally feel like I can be myself - I have permission. When I’m in my Celebrity I have the most energy and I feel the happiest. The course was eye opening for me and it really helped me find myself and I feel so much better being me now."

Who is the Alchemist Money Archetype? The Ultimate Guide
The Alchemist is the idea generator, dreamer of possibilities, and sometimes woo-woo hippie who gets stuck at the follow-through stage and struggles to make money out of their millions of ideas.
There are 8 Archetypes and this is your guide to the Alchemist.
Alchemists have so many ideas - incredible, revolutionary ideas but their bank account doesn't always reflect their creative genius.
The trouble is that they can't always monetize their creative ideas. Alchemists often flounder from business to business, leaving orphaned domain names in their wake (and sometimes disgruntled clients) while they move on to the next, shinier thing. Luckily they have a short memory for failure!
Their love/hate relationship with money only adds to the problem. They resent its importance in their life, but they're not bothered because they can manifest anything when needed!
Alchemists might feel frustrated in the entrepreneurial world when they see people half as creative as they are, moving ahead and making money.
The Alchemist is you if you…
Are attracted to unconventional or alternative ways of making money.
Care more about social justice and leading a movement than making money.
Often feel a love/hate relationship with money.
Can find yourself relying on others for financial support.
Inwardly feel vulnerable or insecure about your ability to create income.
Find it easy to empower others to believe in themselves.
Are talented at attracting money in unusual ways.
Believe there is an unfair balance of wealth in the world.
Never seem to have enough money to support the causes that are important to you.
Each of the 8 Sacred Money Archetypes® has strengths and challenges.
Here are the Alchemist’s strengths, they;
Can see magical possibilities in anything; the smallest thing can inspire them.
Champion others and root for their success.
Are idealistic and optimistic about money.
Believe it will always come when they need it.
Have a divine connection to Universal energy. Therefore, they need very little preparation.
Can create endless ideas, solutions, and possibilities for any problem.
Inspire others with their magical thinking. Others feel energized just by being in an Alchemist’s presence.
Can manifest money and opportunities at will. People will give them money, or it will show up when they need it!
The Alchemist’s challenges are that they;
Get bored quickly with half-finished projects and have shiny object syndrome.
Often judge (or resent) wealthy creatives as boring "sellouts."
Often rely on others for financial support, limiting your creativity and independence.
Can be flakey and unreliable when bored.
Sometimes promise things they can't deliver.
Rebel against mainstream or boring ideas even if it would help their business.
Struggle with finishing and follow-through both for yourself and their clients.
Own approximately 5,245 domain names but don't do anything with them.
Feel frustrated about finding their 'calling' and jump from business to business.
What about real, famous people? How can you tell if someone is an Alchemist?
They will give little clues in their interviews, quotes, and entrepreneurial endeavors, and by watching their challenges play out in public!
Here are some famous people I think could have Alchemist tendencies, check out what they have said about money:
Sarah Jessica Parker, actress, producer, and entrepreneur
"So many roads. So many detours. So many choices. So many mistakes."
Sara Blakely, entrepreneur and inventor
"You've got to visualize where you're headed and be very clear about it. Take a Polaroid picture of where you're going to be in a few years."
Phoebe Buffay, musician
"I'm sorry I won't be able to make it to your imaginary wedding, but I'm really busy that day. I already have a unicorn baptism and a leprechaun bar mitzvah."

Here’s what some fellow Alchemists have said about discovering their Archetype and the Sacred Money Archetypes® business course:
"I remember very clearly watching that first video - I cried. Up to that point, I had run my business from my Accumulator side. You gave me this permission slip. I remember taking it to my partner and saying to her, "Just watch this, it's me." It was so special to hear that not in a spiritual setting but in a business setting. That's been the strongest thing for me through doing SMA as an alchemist."
ADELE BATES
Behaviour & Education Specialist, Keynote Speaker & Author, UK
Archetype: Alchemist
"One of the first things that I read in the SMA course was that Alchemists find it easy to empower others to believe in themselves. I had never really heard that put in a business context or referred to as a primary strength. My second big aha was just because I can do something doesn't mean I should. In music, for example, I should not be producing all of my own work even though I technically know how to do audio production. It's not my area of genius and takes me forever. I now chose to work where my magic is and allowed myself to outsource the rest of it."
MATTIA MAUREE
Life Coach, Composer & Writer, USA
Archetype: Alchemist
“I really got a lot out of SMA. I think it really helped me to understand myself and how I wanted to run my business. It gave me permission to run my business in my own way.”

Should you go into business with your best friend? [Checklist]
Are you considering going into business with your best friend?
It's a decision that can be full of excitement and potential, but it's essential to understand the risks and rewards of such a partnership.
Going into business with a friend could be a winning idea destined to make you millions, OR it could be one of the biggest mistakes of your life.
I've seen it go both ways, so let's dig deeper to see if this could make sense for you.
Listen to the podcast episode, then check out my practical checklist below detailing everything I would consider before going into business with someone else.
// <![CDATA[
// ]]>
(I recommend forwarding this article on to your potential new business partner friend 🙂)
Even if you're not considering working with a friend, this article will help you explore where more explicit boundaries, expectations, or structures could benefit other areas of your life and business.
Here's my checklist to ensure any new business partnership works for everyone and helps you chill and prosper.
1. Do you really want a partner?
First, be honest with yourself. Do you want to have a business partner, or do you think that that's how you'll get over your procrastination and fear?
Make sure you are going into a partnership out of true alignment and not just because you are scared to do it alone.
Are you secretly craving someone to hold your hand and give you the nudge to make your business happen? Would this be better coming from a coach, mentor, or mastermind than a partner?
Being honest with yourself about your motivations for entering a partnership is essential to ensuring the success of the venture.
Ask yourself why you need to bring a partner in - is it because you don't have the skills or knowledge?
Maybe having someone to hold you accountable will help you stay motivated and on track.
Are you entering into the partnership to make money or to enjoy the experience of working together?
Knowing what you want from the partnership will help you make more informed decisions about who to partner with and how to structure the partnership.
2. Do you have complementary personalities?
You may want to work together, but can you?
Do you have similar skills, experience, and knowledge?
Do you have similar money personalities? Are you looking for someone with the same Money Archetype as you, or do you need a different perspective?
Take the Money Archetypes Quiz to understand your individual strengths and weaknesses with money.
The Quiz will help you recognize your dominant Archetype and how to design your business model and role to leverage your strengths.
For example, if you are an Accumulator, you may be great with research and making the best decision. However, you may be fearful with money and prone to analysis paralysis.
On the other hand, if you are an Alchemist, you may be an idea generator but not a great completer finisher.
If you have the Celebrity archetype, you may be a great fit as the face of the business but may struggle with the unsexy stuff behind the scenes.
Knowing your strengths and weaknesses is important to understand how to work together effectively in a business partnership.
This can help you create a shared language and expectations and design a business that profits from your strengths.
3. How will the partnership work?
It is essential to have an honest conversation with your partner about workload, money, and other commitments.
This should be done before entering into a business partnership to ensure that both parties are on the same page.
Talk through the details of the partnership, such as who will do what and how decisions will be made.
It is also important to discuss money, who will be putting in the money, and who will be responsible for the business's finances.
Additionally, other commitments such as family and side gigs should be discussed to ensure both partners have enough time and energy to devote to the business.
Finally, it is vital to have an open conversation about weaknesses and strengths to ensure the partnership is complementary and effective.
If necessary, bring in an outside party, such as a business coach, to facilitate the conversation.
Setting clear expectations at the start will help avoid conflict and confusion once you're up and running.
4. What support or outsourcing will you need?
Suppose there are tasks that neither of you wants to do or sit outside your natural zone of geniuses. In that case, it's easier to outsource them than let resentment brew because you're doing something you hate.
What support should you invest in to give the partnership the best possible chance of success?
If both partners have similar archetypes, it is important to outsource tasks to fill gaps in the business.
This can be done by hiring a financial advisor, bookkeeper, accountant, business coach, strategy coach, or any other type of professional who can help make decisions and provide guidance.
Outsourcing tasks can also help to prevent power clashes, as the third party can provide an objective opinion and help to keep both partners accountable.
Additionally, outsourcing can help to prevent burnout, as both partners can offload some of their workload and focus on their respective tasks.
5. Assign roles and responsibilities based on your strengths.
If you're going into business with a friend or partner, roles should be assigned based on your strengths and experience.
It can be helpful to sit down with a business coach to review the details and ask some hard questions each partner might not have considered.
This could include things such as who will be the face of the business, who will do the research and make decisions, how money will be handled, and how to dissolve the partnership if needed.
Knowing each partner's strengths and weaknesses can help ensure that the right person is working on the right tasks and that the partnership is balanced and sustainable.
Then take the time to create a contract outlining everyone's roles and responsibilities can help to protect the business and ensure everyone is on the same page.
Going into a business partnership with your best friend can be an exciting and rewarding experience, but it is important to understand the risks and rewards.
Don't be afraid to take the leap and partner with your best friend - with the right preparation, you can create a solid and successful business partnership.
I love to hear some success stories of different Money Archetypes working together and whether going into business with a friend is something you're considering.
xx Denise
Who is the Accumulator Money Archetype? The Ultimate Guide
The Accumulator is the banker, the money-conscious saver, and often penny- pinching bargain hunter who gets stuck in analysis paralysis and perfectionism.
Sacred Money Archetypes® are a way of understanding how you are in the world, especially around finances - how you think, feel, and behave with money.

Tiffany Haddish, actress
"I'm trying to create something, so when I turn 55 or 60, I don't have to work no more. I'm not about to spend it all up right now. I plan on living to at least 75. I need some money to play with."

Here’s what some fellow Accumulators have said about discovering their Archetype and the Sacred Money Archetypes® business course:
"My biggest “aha” has been that I am an Accumulator and that is why I always feel stressed about money. I am working on believing that there is always enough money. I have the power to always create wealth, no matter what happens. SMA has helped me to understand myself so much better. I’ve been able to put boundaries in place around my time and taking weekends off and taking care of myself. I’m also no longer discounting ANYTHING! My prices are my prices."
GAIL STARR
Kajabi Coach & Specialist, South Africa
Archetype: Accumulator
"I felt so accepted in the course and that who I am is okay. You really reinforced that you don’t have to do this perfectly, you can show up to a call without having fully read everything or completed all of the exercises. I now realize that I can do things my way and be the kind of rich woman that I want to be."
STACEY TAYLOR
Artist & Designer, USA
Archetype: Accumulator
"It was interesting finding out I was Accumulator and realizing actually I'm quite good at numbers and quite frugal with it. Numbers, detail and caution are part of my personality. Since discovering SMA, I've moved to a coach consultant model, which has enabled me to massively increase my fees. And also, I've got happier clients. I've streamlined everything so I'm focusing on one target market and two main services. I've stopped working weekends and evenings."
JENNY BRACELIN
Business Mentor, UK
Archetype: Accumulator
"When I found out Accumulator was in my top three, so many things from my life made sense. I find it's really easy to invest in my business because I know it’ll come back to me tenfold. I’ve recently upped my rates and I've made 10 times more than usual. More people are hiring me; I’m more in demand. I feel really happy in my business, I feel valued, and well rewarded financially. When I joined SMA, there were so many reassuring touch points.

Revealed: My Top Sacred Money Archetypes® and how they show up in my business and life
How do Sacred Money Archetypes® all work in real life?
I wanted to show you how to use the SMA framework to combine your top three archetypes and design your business to leverage your strengths.
Click here to take the Money Archetypes Quiz and watch the Leverage Your Strengths and Make More Money workshop.
My top three archetypes are the Ruler, the Maverick and the Romantic.
I actually share the first two with my husband, Mark. He's a Ruler, Maverick and Celebrity. So, we're really similar in lots of ways, but the way we spend money can be really different.
Some people think that as a ‘Chillpreneur’, I’m always chill and easy going. Ironically the truth is that I have to work at that because my top archetype is the Ruler. I am all about business and money, and not even money for its own sake, but I just love growth and what's next, what's next, what's next?
For me, my Ruler is a hard task master!
I find it hard to switch off. I feel guilty if I'm not doing work and I often don't celebrate between projects and launches.
We have had some incredibly successful launches, and I've achieved a lot of things over the last couple of years, but I'm not good at stopping and celebrating because that Ruler side of me is always saying, "What's next, what's next, what's next? Do it bigger, faster, stronger next time, and not rest."
Even when I'm having a massage, I’m thinking about new ideas for my business!
So, the Ruler is the empire builder, the workaholic. I love business, I live and breathe marketing and ideas! I'm always thinking about my business and how to make money.
Since I was a kid, I was always the girl with a million jobs. I just worked and worked because in my mind, and I hadn't done any money mindset work then, the only way to make more money was to either just work more hours like a hamster, or to get another job on top of my other jobs.
The Ruler likes to work for the sake of working, and as a result, I have often continued doing that and that's not always the smartest way to be. But the good news about the Ruler is that when you decide to do something, you master it and then you usually monetize it.
So when I started making more money and getting smarter about passive income, I always looked for better and more efficient ways of doing something. That's when I became really good at batching and outsourcing.
Sound familiar? Check out my Ultimate Guide to the Ruler Money Archetype here to learn more about what this means for your business.
Now the downside to my Ruler personality, which is one I'm working on at the moment, is about taking time off and taking holidays.
Because Mark is a Ruler, as well, we can be double workaholics. So when we have a launch on, we'll work really long hours. It can really impact our relationship because we feel like the business stuff needs to take priority over things like date nights, or even kissing, or just being nice to each other.
Then Mark is actually a big task master and he's relentless. So, if you have a Ruler business partner or life partner, it might be hard to get them to switch off, stop talking about the business - even in the bedroom. They probably love giving you jobs to do as well!
My second archetype is the Maverick and I'm definitely someone who likes to take big risks, even though I've never created too much drama or become bankrupt or anything like that.
I've learned to keep myself pretty focused. I have to laugh though, because some Mavericks, when they have a big launch, they immediately invest in something big, like a big house and because Mark is a Maverick as well, we've done this many times.
In fact, in 2016, we bought three houses in one year. So, I do have to keep myself on track to not go after shiny objects all the time or spend big amounts of money.
I've learned to be fairly disciplined about not starting a new businesses every six months, like I did in my twenties. I also set myself really big goals, things to pay off my debts, pay off our mortgages quickly so I know that I won't lose everything if I experiment a little bit.
That's a really key part of the Maverick personality – giving yourself enough space to experiment and have flexibility.
For me, the Maverick, isn't about rebelling, which it can be for some people; for me, it's all about freedom.
I always want to have complete freedom in everything that I do.
The only time it does come up in my rebelliousness is when Mark tries to use his Ruler to tell me what to do. My Ruler/Maverick combination is like, "Don't tell me what to do. F you."
I do have to direct my Maverick into not going off on tangents. I have affirmations to help me stay on track. The main one I have for myself is, "All roads lead to Bootcamp." This allows me to create anything I want as long as all roads lead to Money Bootcamp. My Maverick can then go off on all these wild, wacky marketing tangents but without breaking or burning my business down.
My third archetype is the Romantic, and this is where the chill part comes in, right? You can see, even with the name of my podcast and book, Chill & Prosper, it's Romantic/Ruler.
My Romantic really struggles, because the Ruler is like, "No time off ever," and my Romantic is like, "Wouldn't it be nice if we could just sit at home and read books all day?" And the Ruler is like, "No. Only work."
The Romantic Archetype is all about loving the luxurious life.
I use that Romantic side to indulge in outsourcing everything in my life that stresses me out. I've outsourced cooking, cleaning, laundry, and parts of my business outside my zone of genius. And I love doing things like treating myself like a VIP!
That means flying business class, staying in beautiful places and always going for the upgraded option. I've managed to do this without feeling guilty and without going into credit card debt (like I used to), which are some of the challenges of the Romantic archetype.
To utilize my Romantic’s strengths I look for ways to find the ease in everything. I find the shortcuts. My Romantic is like, "Hey, why don't we just buy a template for that? Why don't we buy a checklist? And then we don't have to start from scratch." And the Ruler's like, "Oh yeah. Okay. That makes sense." And the Maverick's like, "Yeah, that's breaking the rules," in finding those shortcuts.
One of the first big upgrades I made was when we moved to a penthouse at the start of my business because I knew that being in that environment would be good for me. Again, that Maverick part of my personality felt really comfortable with taking that risk but then it also meant that I was having to hustle in my business a lot, all the time to kind of pay for that increasingly lavish lifestyle. One of the gifts and challenges of my archetype is being very optimistic about future earnings. Making this upgrade also suited my Romantic archetype and Mark’s Celebrity archetypes as they are very similar. My Romantic archetype comes in through outsourcing and luxury rather than physical stuff, whereas Mark’s Celebrity archetype means he loves buying new and flashy things, especially when it comes to gadgets. It is so interesting to learn about your partner’s archetype combination too, so much makes sense when you understand each other on a different level!
The challenges that I've really had to deal with in my archetype combination is this real reluctance to save money.
At the start of my business, it felt like a total waste to have money in the bank when I could use it for something to grow my business. I was terrible at saving money for taxes. At the start of my business, I was always like doing that robbing Peter to pay Paul, which is another classic Maverick trait. I also spent way too much money on coaches and training courses when I didn't really think it through or I invested out of total FOMO, and maybe you've done the same, as well.
So don't feel like, "Oh my goodness, I've got so many bad money habits." I did as well! I had so many. But what honestly turned it around for me was discovering more about myself and what makes me tick as an entrepreneur. I thought I had to copy what my mentors did, not realizing that they had a completely different money code to me, with different strengths, different weaknesses and different ways of looking at money. I just internalized that maybe I'm just not good with money. Or maybe I have to be a bit more realistic about what I can accomplish in business.
When I first discovered the Sacred Money Archetypes® back in 2010, it shifted everything for me. Suddenly I had a personalized blueprint for success and how I could leverage those things that came really easily to me, but without self-sabotaging with my challenges.
Now, I don't know about you, but I'm a huge fan of personality tests, I love doing assessments because when it comes to self-awareness, knowledge is power.
I don't believe that all entrepreneurs have the same personality type, and I don't think that they need to either.
We all have our own unique gifts, but the problem I see is that when women feel inadequate, or they try and copy other people in their industry and wonder why it's so hard for them or they don't get the same results. What I love about the Sacred Money Archetypes® is that it really shines a light on what's already working about your personality and your relationship with money and where your challenges and pitfalls are.
You can change those challenges, right? You can work against those pitfalls. I've learned to save money based on my personality type, not someone else's. I've learned to attract clients based on my unique gifts, not because something's trendy in the industry or I saw somebody else get success with that marketing strategy. I've embraced self-love and self-acceptance because I know what I have to offer is enough. So, if you've ever thought, "Oh well, it's okay for her, she's a lucky b****." Or about someone else in your industry.
You've got to know that they're probably working with their path of least resistance, not against it.
See how fun this is!
Knowing your top three archetypes really does make such a difference in your business and life. It is so important to know your unique money and business personality so you can leverage your strengths and do your business your way!
I would love to hear what your top three are. You can find out by taking my free quiz at www.denisedt.com/quiz
How to get started with passive income WITHOUT feeling overwhelmed
Hey there,
Every day I hear from entrepreneurs who dream of the freedom of passive income but are stuck wondering how to get started.
Creating a passive income product can feel overwhelming - like there are lots of moving parts and things to learn.
For many, it’s not fear of failure that stops us. Instead, it’s fear of the unknown.
Getting stuck in analysis paralysis, trying to game out all possible outcomes, and wanting to know the exact outcome and chances of success before you start.
You can break this money block by taking simple inspired action and not overcomplicating your fledgling business idea.
It might feel like there’s a linear process you have to follow and that you need to know all the things about how to run a successful business before you can start.
But it doesn’t have to be this way. You can decide what feels right for you. It can be easy, simple, and fun.
Listen to what people are asking for from you, decide what you can create to solve the problem, and then put it out there for people to find.
Create the thing, solve the problem, and move on - so much learning unfolds when you do this, so there is no reason to feel overwhelmed and think that you have to know everything before you do it. That is just holding you back.
Check out this video on how to not get overwhelmed when creating your first passive income product.
Message me here and let me know the problem you can solve and what you’re going to create this year.
It’s your time and you’re ready for the next step.

The Best Money and Business Personality Test - why I'm obsessed!
One of the most effective concepts that I've discovered in the last couple of years is designing my business to suit my personality.
I've kind of been obsessed with this topic for a really long time. Even in my early twenties and in my thirties, when I was trying to figure out what my business was going to be about, I did so many personality tests, I read so many books about who you are and finding your purpose, and all of that kind of thing.
I’m all about finding the path of least resistance, so that means playing to your strengths rather than always fighting trying to compensate for your weaknesses.
There is one personality test that I think has made the absolute difference to my life and business in so many ways. I'm talking about the Sacred Money Archetypes®. This is a profiling system about your money personality developed by the amazing Kendall SummerHawk. I loved this so much that after using SMA to grow my business and transform my relationship, I became a certified SMA coach and created my Sacred Money Archetypes® business coaching program.
I highly recommend this framework because it showcases the value of looking at every single part of your business and giving yourself permission to design it based on your strengths and personality. Permission to do business on your terms, your way.
Now that might be a weird concept for you, because we hear things like, "The customer is always right", and, "We have to design our business for our ideal customer," but I want you to think of it the other way around, because it is not selfish for you to create your business in a way that feels in alignment for you.
Sometimes we look at the entrepreneurial world and we think there's just one personality that is going to succeed, and it's the hustle, Type A type personality. If you are someone who has a quieter personality, if your values differ from what you see as the norm, you are going to feel left out. You are going to feel like you don't belong, you're going to feel wrong, and you're going to try and change things about yourself.
But you really don't have to, it’s possible to finding your own path to wealth! You just have to leverage what makes you unique, leverage your strength, and then things flow so much easier!
The founder of Sacred Money Archetypes® and one of my mentors, Kendall SummerHawk, says, "The way we do money is the way we do everything," and I really see this so clearly in my life and with my clients.
If you've got some particular challenges of your archetype, it will come up in so many different areas; the way you price, the way you have conversations with clients, the way you launch everything.
Click here to take the Sacred Money Archetypes® Quiz and discover which of the 8 Archetypes you are.
By completing the quiz and watching the free workshop, you’re going to learn so much about your relationship with money and how to tweak your business for more abundance and ease.
If you’re anything like me, you’re going to be filled with ideas and ahas - so much so that you’ll become obsessed with the Archetypes!
Check out a brief overview of each of the Sacred Money Archetypes® below and think about which one you resonate with the most!
You might even see people that you know in some of the Archetypes. That is another reason why I am so obsessed with this quiz and framework – it really is about creating harmony in your life and business by understanding yourself better as well as other people!
When you know more about you’re money personality you’ll see why sometimes you may clash with your clients, with your mentors, and especially with family members; your partner, your siblings, your children, or your parents.
Which of these sounds familiar?
The Accumulator -The Banker
These are the people who are really good at saving, investing and accumulating money. This can go in a couple of different ways and can be ‘healthy’ or ‘unhealthy’ in business.
In an unhealthy expression, an Accumulator may have money in a big savings account but be extremely frugal and unable to invest in themselves or their business. Often, Accumulators can be people who will not spend a penny, overthink every decision they make and get into analysis paralysis. It could mean though that sometimes they get so stuck in that planning phase, they never actually launch anything.
If they're in their healthy expression, Accumulators are really good stewards of money and have excellent attention to detail. This is because they like to look at things in a considered way and make methodical decisions.
The Alchemist- The Idea-Generating Visionary
Alchemists are the idea generators and idealist people. They can transform anything into something better. This is the alchemy of it. They can change anything into gold!
For them, it could be thinking about ideas all the time, seeing how they can improve things, seeing the possibilities in everybody. They can be cheerleaders to the people in their life because they just see all of the possibilities.
Now, the downside to sometimes being an idealist is that they can live their life in the clouds, and they don't come down and ‘touch the grass’. But it could be that everything is in the ether, in the clouds, that nothing actually gets done because nothing gets brought into reality.
It can be very frustrating being an Alchemist because they are so full of ideas and they can be asking themselves "Which is my destiny, which is my purpose?" But their destiny is actually being an ideas person. It may mean that they are to generate ideas, not necessarily to follow them all through. This can be a really tricky balance.
The Celebrity – The Charismatic Tastemaker
The Celebrity is all about being in the spotlight, being a star, a leader, being shiny and sparkly. For Celebrities, glitter and sequins are neutral; so it's all about being as fabulous as they can be.
Some people might be a Celebrity who has dialed down some of their shine. They might be a Celebrity who's been shamed out of being in the spotlight, being called a diva or hearing things like, "Nobody likes a show-off." So sometimes people take the Sacred Money Archetypes® Quiz and they go, "I'm not a Celebrity." But they actually are. They've just learned to dim it down.
The big challenge for Celebrities is that they have no problem spending money, but they don't always have the business or the income to support their spending. It can be very stressful when, on one side, they've got this beautiful, shiny, fabulous life, but things are kind of falling apart behind the scenes, and they're living this champagne life on a tap water budget. Not that they'd drink tap water, of course.
The Connector- The Relationship Builder
The Connector is all about building relationships and putting people first.
Now Connectors can be introverted or extroverted. Introverted ones are more about scanning the room, seeing who needs help, and looking for the wallflowers who might need a kind word; the extroverted Connectors might be the life and soul of the party, the person who organizes the conferences, the events, and the meetups.
Connectors often say things like, "I don't care about the money. I just want to help people." That can be tricky for Connectors because it means that they often sabotage their business because they don't charge people. Everyone's their friend, and they feel they can't charge their friends. Even strangers become their friends very quickly. There can be real blurred lines between clients and friends, and that can cause some boundary issues and that can lead to some stress.
Often Connectors are just not paid enough for the value that they bring out in the world. They want to spend so much time helping others and solving problems for others, but they don't always get paid for that in return.
The Maverick- The Revolutionary Rebel
The Maverick is the inner rebel. Mavericks march to the beat of a different drum, their own drum. They want to remake things, refashion things, revolutionize, revolt, and sometimes burn things down that don't work. Mavericks will always be the ones who are big, bold thinkers. Even if it's suppressed, they really just want to break free and have freedom, be the highest reason for their business.
Mavericks are the ones who don't really think before they leap, which can make them amazing entrepreneurs because they just take action without thinking it through. Sometimes though, there can be fallout from that, right? It's like, "Oh, I sold all this stuff, and now I can't deliver it. Okay. I guess I'll just work harder."
Or sometimes Mavericks get bored, and they pull apart their business, rip things up and burn things down, even though they could just make a few tweaks. They've got to keep that boredom in check.
I've been around the business world for a long time, so I've seen a lot of people come and go, and it's often the Mavericks who totally just burn stuff down and they sabotage their business simply because they get bored.
The Nurturer- The Compassionate Caretaker
The Nurturer is the one who always has that commitment and need to care for the individual, and they are always looking for how they can give, over deliver, and solve everyone's problems, no matter what it is.
Nurturers can be really good at taking care of and saving money, but often, they burn through their savings account or they burn through their reserves, energetically and financially, because they attract codependent people or they want to solve everyone else's problems with money. They want to save people and rescue them.
What's interesting too is that, Nurturers collect strays, it could be stray cats or it could be stray clients, who need their help and that can make them feel really good. All of us have got that Nurturer inside us, where it feels good for people to be reliant on us and to want and need us, but it doesn't always serve our businesses. That can be really hard for the Nurturer, because often, you just care so much, but you don't always get that back in return, and that can lead to a lot of burnout.
The Romantic- The Pleasure Seeker
Now the Romantic is the inner hedonist. The Romantic is all about pleasure seeking. It could be luxury, it could be travel, it could be ease, it could be comfort.
For some Romantics, they love their luxury brands and they're kind of the sister archetype or the cousin archetype to the Celebrities, but it manifests sometimes in a different way. For some people, it is texture, wanting that coziness; or it's wanting that downtime, having those long bubble baths and just not feeling like doing anything.
That can be sometimes the downfall for the Romantic, sometimes they just can't be bothered and they only want to do business when they feel like it.
There are so many things Romantics can do to keep their businesses flowing when they feel like this. They can absolutely embrace automation and ease by giving themselves permission to make everything so much easier for themselves without the guilt and shame.
The Ruler – The Empire Builder
The Ruler is the empire builder, the archetype who loves business, learning about marketing, and can monetize everything. They really just want those big win-win empires where everybody can thrive and everybody gets what they need.
Rulers can be a little bit bossy and love to work. They want to know what the next big thing is! If you are a Ruler, then you know that you have that inner voice going, "No time off, just work" and that can obviously lead to a lot of burnout.

MONICA LEE RICH
Contemporary Romantic Artist, USA
Archetype: Connector
What I realized through the course was that bringing people on board that would help me was vital. The more comfortable I get with money, the more I empower myself. I can't do it all, and getting a bookkeeper to help me was really big. There's someone out there for everybody. It's actually very pragmatic how it's helped me because I am a romantic too. I like to shop. Now I budget, I can shop all the time using a fixed amount of money.
KERIN MONACO
Lightworker, USA
Archetype: Ruler
I've listened to SMA three or four times. I really love going back and revisiting because there's always a new nugget I pick up about myself. It really helps me to either see where I might be sabotaging myself or what I get to look out for.
SHAZIA IMAM
Life Coach & Life Engineer, USA
Archetype: Maverick
It's helped me embrace all of me, all the different parts of me, because up until discovering SMA, I was thinking more along the lines of being a Libra, but not really resonating with horoscopes because they’re so one-dimensional. Understanding my connector traits, and the other underlying ones, I feel like I’ve got the whole package. It’s helped me grow as a person, improve my relationship with my family.

Archetype: Connector
There's two big things which I have taken from SMA. The first is empowering words. When you know who you're talking to, when you know who you want to bring into your world, having lists of all those amazing empowering words, it's like ALL the candy to sprinkle through your copy. The second thing is understanding that I am very much the Alchemist, and that I have zero follow through. Now I just get to build my business and I don't have to worry about that.

Denise on the De-stress Your Business podcast - You don't need to be perfect
There is no metamorphosis!
You don't need to transform into a perfect vision of yourself to make more money.
You don't need to be more organized.
You don't have to geet your sh*t together.
You are what a wealthy entrepreneur looks like.
I make a lot of money, but I'm still imperfect, disorganized and I make a lot of mistakes.
The more you can learn to accept who you are, the more you can start to design your business around that, and making money will start becoming easier.
Be kinder to yourself - it's time to let go of the perfectionist money block.
I had such a good conversation with Alexis about this on the De-Stress Your Business podcast.
