Hi Karen,

A longish answer to your question is in my blog post below:

https://caknutsen.com/2016/09/inspira... (Or you can click on this post on this page below)

A short answer is that I wanted to write about what we can be as a species. We seem to continue hurt each other; in our actions as individuals, in the groups we form (religious, skin color etc), the way nations interact with each other, and the way we treat our planet and the other life on it. We are better than this, or at least I think we can be. So I wrote the Janus Unfolding series populating it with an emergent version of us who do not act out of fear, but rather have a deep reverence for life in all its forms, and are driven to make things better.(less)

THE URRITAN LEGACY – New Release

The Janus Unfolding Series continues.

Responding to a whisper from a mysterious ethereal Entity, the Sunaj Team, Sam, Carmen, Jesse and Ahleeto set out aboard the Lorengi ship Thelika, toward a planet thousands of light-years from Earth. The urgency in the message is compelling, but they don’t know why they are needed, whether they were heading into danger, or if they will ever make it

An unusual set of circumstances

A challenge to figure out at the beginning, but as the story developed things became more clear. The action built up toward the end of the book and and left you wanting to read the next book in the series.

Interesting adventures

I have enjoyed the many Dev Haskell Adventures. I can't say I really like the character but he is what he is. I would like to see some changes in the way the local gangster interacts with the character. It would be nice if Dev

Fun adventures

Dev Haskell gets himself into a number of fixes. Many times it's because he makes poor choices. He works hard to make things turn out well. They usually do for the other people involved, but not always for him.

A great conclusion to the series

This book does a good job addressing many things in the series. The main characters face danger after Danger and no resolution is apparent. All are apparently doomed right up to the end of the book.

Good story, interesting technology

Another good story in the Alien Safari series. The two main characters had interesting adventures. The fantastic technology near the end of the book was interesting but detracted from the story

Good story great characters

The story is fun and exciting, with some very interesting intrigues. What I like most about the book were the characters that the author developed. The wildlife on the planet was also very interesting.

Good book bad ending

I really liked this book. I thought it was better than the first book in the series and it was for quite a while. But in my view he chose an ending that absolutely did not have to be.
