My stance on the Pill (based on the fact that I can’t take it)

I read this article today, and you should too. I’ll give you a moment to scan it, then come back here.

Back? Read it? Good.

I want to start off by saying I am totally in support of birth control. I am not Catholic. I do not see it as an insult or affront against God/nature or whatever. I think a woman should have the power to not conceive. I am totally in favor of these things.

That being said, I found this part of the article particular disturbing:

Research suggests, for example, that women are...

On the Horizon

tulips

It’s been quite a while since I bothered to stop writing long enough to just update everyone on what I’ve been up to. Honestly, I’ve been burying myself in work almost obsessively. To say I’m a workaholic is a vast understatement. I’ve literally been putting in anywhere from 8-12 hours of work a day in, with very few breaks or breathers. Part of it is work under my own name, but I’ve also been writing books for various publishers under other names, none of which will be disclosed here (lol)....

R.I.P. Jesus Franco

Jess Franco

I just encountered the sad news that Euro-trash filmmaker, Jesus “Jess” Franco has passed on at 83 from complications from a stroke. If you don’t know who Jess Franco is (and if you don’t, then I may need to reprimand you) please take a moment to read up on his incredible biography and familiarize yourself with his truly astonishing body of work.

Regardless of what you personally consider to be “art,” and though not all of Franco’s work falls into that category, admittedly, I think it can be a...

I’m just fashionably late

Hey, wanted to make a shout-out and tell everyone that I am, in fact, still alive. I know it’s been quiet over here for a while, and I’m not the best dedicated blogger, I admit.

Anyway, I was dealing with some personal issues this past week, plus I’ve been writing up a storm under various other pseudonyms. Yes, I write under pseudonyms. Creepy, isn’t it? And the creepiest thing is you’ve probably read one of my other books under one of my other names without even knowing it.

But, ahem, anyway…I...
