Israeli bombing has killed at least 21 people in southern Lebanon, the health ministry said

The Iraqi authorities announced that they had formally protested to the UN Secretary-General and the Security Council against “manifest violation” carried out by Israel, whose planes Baghdad says entered Iraqi airspace to strike neighboring Iran on Saturday.

In this letter of protest, Iraq “condemns the flagrant violation committed by the Zionist entity whose planes violated Iraqi airspace and sovereignty by using Iraqi airspace to launch an attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran on October 26”according to a press release by government spokesman Basim Alawadi, quoted by Agence France-Presse.

Sentiment in Germany’s export sector worsened further in October, a Reuters poll showed

BERLIN (Reuters) – Sentiment in Germany’s export industry darkened further in October, with the auto and steel sectors expecting the worst losses in international trade, according to a survey published on Monday.

The Ifo indicator of export expectations fell to minus 6.7 points from minus 6.5 points in September, the economic institute said in a statement.

“Currently, companies are not benefiting from positive economic developments in other countries,” said Klaus Vollrabe, head of Ifo research.

Trump in New York: Elect me and you’ll have a new golden age

Trump asked voters if they were better off than they were four years ago. He called the election a choice between “four more years of unprecedented incompetence and failure” and “the best four years in the history of our country.” According to American NBC News, Trump drew a large crowd and attacked his political opponents. For example, he claimed that Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris had a “low IQ,” called the media “the enemy of the people” and said he would take on “the enemy from within.”
