Redmi is working on two Turbo 4 phones with new chipsets

According to the popular tipster Digital chat stationThe Redmi Turbo 4 and Turbo 4 Pro are in development and both will come with yet-to-be-announced chipsets.

He claims they will feature the Dimensity 8400 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 respectively, and stick to the current trend of flat displays.

The Redmi Turbo 4 and Turbo 4 Pro should come with a new battery technology that allows for a battery capacity of over 6,000mAh without compromising on the internal architecture of the device.

The Turbo brand is a spinoff of the Redmi Note Turbo phones, aspiring to be “flagship performance series” – phones that sit between the top-tier K range and the Note midrangers. The Turbo 3 (which was the first) arrived with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, and it only makes sense that the Turbo 4 would have a fourth-generation Snapdragon platform.

We should note that there was a Redmi K70E with the Dimensity 8300, which means we may see the K80E moved into the Turbo family with a new name.

None of these names mean anything outside of the Chinese market, like the Redmi K70E and Redmi Turbo 3 arrived as Poco X6 Pro and Poco F6. It is quite logical that the Turbo 4 duo will appear as a Poco phone on the international stage.

Iberdrola profit jumps 50% as focus on US, UK pays off By Reuters

By Pietro Lombardi

MADRID (Reuters) – Europe’s biggest utilities company Iberdrola ( OTC: ) posted on Wednesday a 50 percent rise in net profit for the first nine months of the year, in a sign that its focus on Britain and the United States is paying off.

This is part of a wider shift towards building and upgrading electricity grids while taking a more selective approach to renewables, with a preference for offshore wind projects.

Net profit for the period was 5.47 billion euros ($5.91 billion), the Spanish company said. This compares with €3.64 billion a year earlier.

“Our ongoing major investment drive is delivering new renewable energy projects and regulated assets, and the contribution to results from our increased offshore wind capacity underlines why investment in this technology is a key pillar of our strategic plan,” said Executive Chairman Ignacio Sanchez Galan in a statement.

Underlying earnings – before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization – rose 23% to 13.27 billion euros.

The Spanish company, which upgraded its outlook for the year in the previous two quarters, pointed to its UK and US operations as the main drivers of its performance.

Today’s Almanac, October 23: the origin of the world

The earth would have been born on Sunday, October 23rd in 4004 BC. At least that is the day when – after vague calculations based on scripture – the Irish archbishop James Usher named in 1650. In his Annals of the Old Testament the prelate sets the exact dates of various biblical events: the expulsion of Adam and Eve from Paradise, November 10, 4004 BC; arrival of Noah’s Ark at Mount Ararat, Wednesday, May 5, 1491 BC, etc. Already in the nineteenth century Usher’s chronology began to be considered unrealistic, and in 1925 it was one of the elements of the famous process of John Scopesguilty of teaching the theory of evolution in a public school in Tennessee. Today there are no longer any granite certainties about the age of the world, but surely everything must have begun much earlier than the archbishop believed. Just think of the remains of the first life forms on Earth. On October 23, 1977, American paleobotanist The first Barghorn announced that it had discovered one of the world’s oldest fossils in South Africa: a single-celled organism 3.5 billion years old.

IRAN – ISRAEL – LEBANON

23 OCT 2024 – 8:15
