Lavender Syrup with Coconut Sugar for Your Coffee
I love fancy coffees and sometimes there’s not always a vegan variation that you can get at all coffee shops. It’s cheaper to make your own syrups and creamers, and it really doesn’t take...

A Vegan Menu Plan Full of Takeout Recipes that You Make at Home!
This week’s vegan menu plan will have you looking forward to having dinner at home. I love takeout food, but it can be expensive, not so healthy, and you can’t always get vegan versions. This week you’ll make a variety of international dishes, with a cauliflower po’boy, jackfruit chili, and pizza thrown in to round it all out.
Get ready for your most favorite menu plan ever. The best part is that all of these with come together quickly or have parts that can be made in advance.
Some of you a...
Homemade Cinnamon Dolce Syrup
I’m on my second cup of Vegan Cinnamon Roll Coffee with Homemade Brown Sugar Cinnamon Coffee Syrup. It’s a simple recipe that you’ll find yourself drinking all year long. If you aren’t coffee fan, you can use it in tea too.
Cinnamon and coffee are a magical pair. It reminds me of the sweet cinnamon coffee I had when we visited Mexico, and it’s just as delicious.
I never drink coffee without creamer, and I used the vanilla flavor of Silk® Soy Coffee Creamer in this recipe. If you have a soy...

Your New Fav Snack: Air Fryer Bow Tie Pasta Chips
My newest book, Vegan Cooking for Your Air Fryer, was released this week and I’m thrilled. If you don’t have an air fryer yet check out my post about different air fryers and their accessories here.
These bow tie chips are so crunchy and remind me of a cheese-cracker. But don’t worry it’s 100% vegan. No air fryer? Try baking them in the oven at 375 degrees until crisp.
Just cook the pasta half way, drain, and toss with the seasoning, then cook for about 10 minutes in your air fryer. Easy pe...

Vegan Air Fryer Southern Fried “Chicken” Soy Curls
I hate to tell you this, but I’ve been holding out on you. I’ve been making these Vegan Air Fryer Southern Fried “Chicken” Soy Curls for months! It’s taken me awhile to get the time to take photos and actually write down the recipe, but it’s worth the wait.
What are soy curls? They just have one ingredient: Whole Non-GMO soybeans. The are sold in stores near the west coast. Since I’m in North Carolina, I order my Butler Soy Curls on Amazon.
Soy curls look a lot like TVP and come dehydrated...

Vegan Butternut Squash Okra Gumbo
I know we bloggers talk a lot about the seasons and weather, but the changes in the weather and seasonal produce are big inspirations for recipes.
I don’t even know what to say about our weather the past 2 months because one week I have the house open because it’s been in the 80s and then last night it snowed. It’s almost the middle of March.
Not much to say except if you live in North Carolina make sure you’re wearing layers and maybe enjoy a warming bowl of this Vegan Butternut Squash Okra...

Vegan Air Fryer Blueberry Apple Crumble from The Vegan Air Fryer
It’s always time for a fruit crumble, but I especially love adding fresh berries in all summer long. This recipe is made in your air fryer which helps your house not heat up.
This recipe is from JL’s new book, The Vegan Air Fryer. You probably already know JL Fields from her blog, JL Goes Vegan, or one of her many books.
JL turned the vegan community on to air fryers, and I started playing with mine because of her. If you are like me, you are already a member of her Vegan Air Frying Enthusia...
BBQ Jackfruit Stuffed Potato Rolls
These BBQ Jackfruit Stuffed Potato Rolls are made with white whole wheat flour and gets its moisture from the lovely Idaho® Potato.
Filled with a savory and toothsome jackfruit and shredded carrot bbq, these will be your new go-to party food, so make a double batch and keep some in the freezer.
This is another in my series of posts sponsored by the Idaho Potato Commission. I love potatoes, don’t you? Let me know your favorite way to cook with potatoes in the comments.

Vegan Hazelnut Mocha Coconut Latte or Frappuccino
I get fomo (fear of missing out) when I see the new drinks at Starbucks. Some of them aren’t even vegan, but I love the idea of incorporating new flavors into my favorite foods and drinks. When I saw their Hazelnut Mocha Coconut Milk Latte I knew I need to recreate it at home.
I’ve been weaning myself off caffeine the past few months. Some mornings I’ll have a matcha latte or a half-caf coffee, but more mornings I’m having a cold-brewed coffee substitute like Teeccino or other grain-based bl...
