As regras dadas no início do relacionamento/negócio mudam constantemente, e a exploração do BDSM deste casal é perfeitamente equilibrada entre os dois personagens. 5 stars BLACK DORNThis book was really hot. Read the whole thing in 2 hours. Once you pick it up you will not put it down. The characters in the story are great and the theme of the book is BDSM but totally enjoyable. Malack and Branwyn are characters that you can relate to. The fact that he choose her over women with a title was also intriguing. It was good that Branwyn choose to have Leah as her lady in waiting. To find out that Malack and Branwyn allowed Duncan his man servant and Leah to wed was good now they are all happy. You need to read the book to find out the middle and the end. It was truly surprising what happens and how it happens.
5 stars Dark but SurprisingThis story turned out to be a real surprise for me. I was expecting a much darker tale from the description. The beginning did seem to live up to something very dark but then it seemed that all of a sudden light came and brought the whole story into a new light. It was a wonderful story of love, redemption, and sometimes having to do something terrible to create lasting peace. I love that all the female characters could be submissive and yet strong and that the male characters despite their strength could show their strong feelings.
I recommend this to anyone that love a great love story but sometimes like to have a bit of bit to it.
5 stars Awesome steamy story - new favorite authorBranwyn is a complex character, who begins the book timid and modest. However, in Black Dorn, timid and modesty are two sinful attitudes. Quickly, she is thrown into a world of passion and sex. But she only has eyes for one man, Malack the Gon-Dra. He is fierce and does not hide his body or his lust. However, Branwyn catches his eye and soon his heart.
This was a quick read and I found myself up late at night to finish it. The kind of drama and love story that leaves you breathless and then sighing in contentment at the end.
I will definitely read more books by Daryl Devore.
From Coffee Beans & Love Scenes / 4 StarsThe way the reader is taken on a journey with the main lead. You only see what the writer wants you to see and I thought that was really great. She defies all odds and falls in love with the man of the house. Their romance is beautiful and well written and as you read you wish them the best. Daryl Devore has written another great read.

3 reason why I "heart" Yoga #yoga
http://worldyogahistory.blogspot.com/I take 4 or 5 yoga classes a week and I love every single one of them. If I miss a class - it's for a really good reason - like I'm not even in the country! I take 3 Hatha classes, 1 Yin and 1 Restorative. Life is filled with ying and yan - that's my yoga schedule -Tues - Hatha - physical
Wed - Yin - calmer
Thurs -Hatha - physical
Fri - Restorative - calmer
Sat - Hatha - physical
What drives me to yoga so often? (I'm snickering here thinking - what drives me to yoga is my car...)
3 reasons
First - I love the feeling of bliss when I leave class.
I have started a class ---
- feeling blue after a bad day
- feeling black after a really bad day
- feeling off - out of sorts
- feeling achy
- feeling blah, like a slug
And I have left class every single time with a smile on my face and spirit lifted up. That's almost as good a chocolate, but without the calories.
Second - I love the physicality.
I taught dance for a long time and my flexibility was good. But life and age got in the way and I've stiffened up. (Fun fact - I'm not 22 anymore - when the hell did that happen!?!?!?!) Yoga gently challenges me to push my body, but not too hard. Do what your body is capable of today. Today I can get my palms to the floor, no problem. Tomorrow after working in the yard for four hours - bending over a little bit is probably going to be sore. So with the lack of competition in yoga class, I don't have to push through the pain and suck it up. I can respect my body and do what I can - when I can. Yes, there are days when I am lazy about it - I am human. And yoga accepts that. Today is today.
Third - I LOVE Savasana. The statement below defines my yoga training.

http://wholehearter.blogspot.com/2012...Savasana is the pose done at the end of practise. It's what gets me to the end. Classes where I feel my body is fighting me on every move, I just remind myself Savasana is coming - 15 more minutes - 8 more minutes - and sometimes - 59 more minutes.
So do I love yoga because I'm super lazy and all I have to do is lay there? Truthfully - yes - but only a little bit. I love the peace of the moment. The room is quiet. Soft music in the background. No one talks. You breathe out and let go of the day. You allow yourself that time to do nothing. Don't even think. Resist the urge to run over your never ending to do list. Let your mind go silent. It does take a while to achieve this. But it is so worth it

10 Things I Didn’t Know About Becoming a Published Author
Not sure if I should order this list by most surprising or most loathsome. I'll give it a shot and you can guess which I chose….or maybe both.
1. It takes ALL the rewrites to get a story correct. I wasn’t prepared for how much rewriting need almost every time I think I’m finished. They say 95% writing is re-writing.
2. There are different levels of agent rejection:
a. Form rejection. That means you did something wrong or your book was not in any way shape or form ready or interesting to that person.
b. Form rejection BUT with some critique. Your book didn’t completely suck and would suck less if you did the following things. However, it’s still a honking no.
c. Partial request. This means whatever you sent had some potential. They want a little taste.
d. Full Request. Still not in the door. They can still say no even after reading the entire book.
3. Beta readers. I had no idea what a beta reader was until I published. They are the shiny elves that catch all the crazy so other lovely readers don’t have to.
4. Marketing. This is by far what I am the worst at. For every book that is published the writing is only one part of it. After the book comes out there is an entirely new wave of work to be done to promote it.
5. Competition. A strange thing some authors believe we are all in competition with one another. I read enough books to know that if I see two books I like I’m going to read them both. There is no reason for me to have to choose. So I spend time promoting my fellow authors to combat this stigma.
6. Nothing prepared you for holding a print of your book for the first time. Doesn’t matter if you’ve published one book or fifty books. It’s still a thrill.
7. Being published does not mean you’ll be famous and a lot of writers write for the joy of storytelling or to silence the crazy voices in our heads. A lot for independent authors do it for the love, not the money.
8. REVIEWS. I never realized how important reviews are to an author. Hint: VERY IMPORTANT.
9. Every publisher wants and does something different. There is no industry standard and you have to remain flexible when publishing. Always fluid or you won’t be able to work with anyone.
10. People suck sometimes. There will be those who look down on you if you haven’t made a best-seller list. Some who think you’re nothing until they are making a movie of your book. Some who think your genre doesn’t count as a real book.
It takes a lot of fortitude to be an author. It also takes a lot of guts to put all that out there in the world. So if you know a writer…published or not…give them a hug.

What happened to What Happens in Bangkok? #erotic #romance
The picture is a temple in Thailand - sort of goes with the Bangkok part of my book.To those of you who read my posts as I struggled through trying to name - Book With No Name and have enjoyed the snippets posted on occasion or at WIP IT UP Wednesday - you may be wondering what happened to What Happens in Bangkok. Why hasn't there been a cover reveal? Why isn't there a release date? Why don't you have a copy burning up your ereader??????
Simple, really. I pulled the book from my publisher. I submitted. He responded. We chatted. I pulled it. It wasn't that he didn't like the book. It was the fact that he's overwhelmed at the moment and my thinking is - if he's stressed and super busy then my book may not get the attention it deserves. So I pulled it.
Now I'm sitting on it, trying to decide what to do. Do I try for an agent? Do I try for another publisher? Do I self-pub it? Any of the 3 have pros and cons that have to be considered. So, I am taking my time.
As to book 2 and 3. I finished the beta read for book 3. And I have a beta for book 2. It's been sitting on my laptop for a couple of weeks. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING got in the way. The disruption around What Happens in Bangkok and then life, plus beta reads I promised to do. But I am going to get to book 2's beta. She did all that wonderful work for me. I'm thinking my thank you for her beta read is going to have to be half apology - half thank you.
And you readers thought all we writers did was write. A lot goes into making a book come to life.

Flame stepped past her, walked to the pole at center stage, wrapped her fingers around the metal and waited for the first music cue. As the opening chord sounded, she focused solely on her job, spinning around the dance pole, holding on with a hand, a bent knee, or a curved elbow. She stood beside it, lifted her leg as high as she could, rested it on the shaft, and then pulled herself forward into a standing front split. She laid her head on her leg and tossed her hair right and left as she gazed about the bar. Baseball Cap Guy's seat was empty. Probably in the men's room, jerking off.
