What happened to What Happens in Bangkok? #erotic #romance

To those of you who read my posts as I struggled through trying to name - Book With No Name and have enjoyed the snippets posted on occasion or at WIP IT UP Wednesday - you may be wondering what happened to What Happens in Bangkok. Why hasn't there been a cover reveal? Why isn't there a release date? Why don't you have a copy burning up your ereader??????

Simple, really. I pulled the book from my publisher.  I submitted. He responded. We chatted. I pulled it. It wasn't that he didn't like the book. It was the fact that he's overwhelmed at the moment and my thinking is - if he's stressed and super busy then my book may not get the attention it deserves. So I pulled it.

Now I'm sitting on it, trying to decide what to do. Do I try for an agent? Do I try for another publisher? Do I self-pub it?  Any of the 3 have pros and cons that have to be considered. So, I am taking my time.

As to book 2 and 3. I finished the beta read for book 3. And I have a beta for book 2. It's been sitting on my laptop for a couple of weeks. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING  got in the way.  The disruption around What Happens in Bangkok and then life, plus beta reads I promised to do. But I am going to get to book 2's beta. She did all that wonderful work for me. I'm thinking my thank you for her beta read is going to have to be half apology - half thank you.

And you readers thought all we writers did was write. A lot goes into making a book come to life.
