Not exactly a yoga quote this week - but certainly something to meditate on #yoga

So I can't read a calendar and booked a spotlight on Thurs so my yoga spot has moved for this week.
We are all part of the cosmos.
Therefore we are all the same.
Male.
Female.
Transgendered.
Straight.
Black.
White.
Tall.
Short.
Catholic.
Satanic.
Ditch the bigotry.
We are all one.
We are all part of the universe.

Excerpt
Quickly he attached a second cuff on her other thigh and tightened the ankle restraints, leaving her laid out on the bed, restrained and open, her legs parted and bent, entirely helpless and accessible to his touch.
"You have no idea how beautiful you are like this – splayed for my desire, unable to resist the pleasure I can give you." It was his voice that kept the rising panic at bay. She felt the bed dip on her side and knew he had come to kneel beside her, but the first real touch was a soft kiss on her belly, a loving touch more than a seduction. Then his hands began to play over her in gentle caresses and soft massages, touching her everywhere without a pattern that would have forewarned her. One moment his hands were playing along her flank, over her hipbone, the next they circled her wrists above the restraints, reminding her of them, or massaged along her thigh. But he never touched her pussy or let even the gentlest movement play over her breasts. This absence made her skin there hungry and sensitive to him, more so than he could have done with hands or lips. She started to burn, inside out, every cell of her body reorienting itself to him, her mind consumed entirely by the expectation of his touch. Her ears followed his movements, her nose noticing his scent over that of the fire and her own arousal. When his lips engulfed her nipple in wet, hot sensation, a strange sound was torn from her, a sound somewhere between a moan and a cry. His encouragement became a caress of its own on her sensitised skin.
"Sing for me, Kathryn. Let me hear your pleasure.”
He took his time with her breasts, sucking, licking, never pushing her endurance but centring all her attention on his mouth over her nipples and his hands roving over her body. Only when she felt both her breasts swollen and heavy, her nipples taut and engorged, did he let up. Her breath was panting and as he sat up, removing his hands from her, she whimpered from abandonment, not pleasure. Every aspect of her demanded his touch, his scent, his voice – him.
His dark laughter rose to engulf her.
"Shh, now. We have only just started. I am here, always at your side. Remember that to get relief you only have to tell me something intimate, something I cannot guess or reason out for myself. A secret of your heart." As he spoke she heard the sound of a bottle opening, and the smell of peppermint permeated the room. She felt the touch of a cool cloth over nipples, leaving behind a slight wetness, nothing else. She was distracted from the new sensation by the hand gently stroking along her thigh to her vagina, a teasing touch cumulating in a finger stroking along her labia, collecting the moisture at her entrance and spreading it along the length to circle once over her clitoris. Then she felt a second cloth stroking along each side of her engorged clitoris, not touching directly but applying something to the skin around it. And suddenly there was a burn – a warming of her skin first but then heat in ever increasing intensity.
Author Bio
In "real" life, I am an academic with degrees in Political Science, Economics, Philosophy and Law and an insatiable desire to confound, baffle and disconcert my students. Someone once suggested to me the reason for my stories lay in the desire to offset the tedium and rationality of academic life. He wasn't an academic or he would have known better. It is best to use research against tedium, students to offset the rationality and an unlimited supply of stressballs for the faculty meetings. The stories? Well, they are just for me - like a mental manicure.

But if he applied the proper heat, she'd melt - Daryl Devore's Brace for Impact on Weekend Writing Warriors #erotic #romance #8Sunday

Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors! Where writers share an 8- 10 sentence snippet of their writing on Sunday. Visit other participants on the list and read and comment on their 8sunday posts.Spread the word. Twitter hashtag #8sunday.
www.wewriwa.com
This snippet is from my latest - which is a release - erotic contemporary - Brace for Impact. This is from the box set - Crashing into Love- which we split up and have individually released our stories.
Paix shifted. Her breast rubbed against his chest. His gut clenched. He sensed her need for control was just a protective front. He suspected that she'd be like an ice cube. Cold. Uneasy. But if he applied the proper heat, she'd melt. And like water, if more heat is added a puddle begins to simmer then boil.

Brace for Impact
This is the release of the single story taken from the Crashing into Love box set.
What could be simpler than a routine plane trip from Toronto, Canada to Caracas, Venezuela for a rookie flight attendant and a sexy R.C.M.P. officer?
But Fate had other intentions.
After leaving a disastrous marriage, Paix Allcot begins a new career as a flight attendant. The romance of travel plus the desperate need to be on any other continent other than the one her ex is on seems like a dream job. For the first time, Paix is no longer a trainee and the passengers in economy class are under her care. Especially the handsome passenger seated in 36C.
Guy Lapierre, undercover officer, is following a vicious human-trafficker. He has little time for relationships. Too many innocent lives are at stake. But when the plane crashes and Guy is stranded on a tropical island, he is forced to work with Paix to survive until he discovers that the man he is tracking is Paix's older brother.
Can a pink bra and a hot night on the side of a volcano save the relationship and their lives?
Review - Daryl Devore's book was fantastic also it was probably one of my favorites of the set. I was crying at the end thinking the worst but it turned out great.
Review - Daryl Devore likes to add unexpected events to her novels. And this one has several which if you google you’ll discover have really happened. So as you read this delightful story thinking it over the top, remember that while some events may seem improbable, life is full of improbable occurrences.
I thought both Guy and Paix were stand-up people. Paix had a moment of not so stand up when she finds her brother, but even there, when she thinks it through, she rights herself in short order. No one is perfect, but these two are really good, which results in great extreme action fun.
2 Warnings: The sex is explicit and the final chapter might scare you at first, but keep reading.

Pre-Order Blitz and Giveaway for THE TUTOR by K D Grace #erotic #sex

Inspired by a Can of Pears
Inspiration comes in the strangest forms. The Tutor was actually inspired by a can of pears in heavy syrup – thanks to my friend and fabulous writer, Kay Jaybee. At a workshop she was teaching for Smut Manchester last year, Kay handed me a writing prompt on slip of paper. I still remember the smug little smile on her face You guessed it. My prompt was a can of pears in heavy syrup, which my character was to pick up in a grocery story just before being called to the storeroom of said store over the loudspeaker for some unknown reason. From pears in heavy syrup to an outrageously sexy haphephobic sculptor, and the woman he longs to touch but can’t – it might seem like quite a stretch, but inspiration is like that, isn’t it?
Giveaway: To promote pre-orders for The Tutor, I’m giving away a $30/£20 Amazon gift voucher. Enter via the Rafflecopter for a chance to win! Pre-order your copy of The Tutor for a chance to make the author VERY happy. :-)

The Tutor Blurb:
Struggling writer, Kelly Blake has a secret life as a sex tutor. Celebrated sculptor and recluse, Alexander ‘Lex’ Valentine, can’t stand to be touched. When he seeks out Kelly’s advice incognito, the results are too hot to handle. When Kelly terminates their sessions due to what she considers her unprofessional behavior, Lex takes a huge risk, revealing his identity to her at a gala exhibition, his first ever public appearance. When Kelly helps the severely haphephobic Lex escape the grope of reporters and paparazzi, rumors fly that the two are engaged, rumors encouraged by well-meaning friends and colleagues.
The press feeding frenzy forces Kelly into hiding at Lex’s mansion where he convinces her to be his private tutor just until the press loses interest, and she can go back home. They discover quickly that touch is not essential for sizzling, pulse-pounding intimacy. But intimacy must survive the secrets uncovered as their sessions become more and more personal.

Excerpt: Art and Sex:
She nabbed a cookie and came to stand behind him while he drew, but when his efforts on the curve of her cheek slowed and then stopped, she stepped back. “I’m sorry, am I making you uncomfortable?” she managed around a mouthful of cookie. He shook his head. “It’s not that. It’s just that, well as lovely as you looked, in that dress tonight, stunning actually, it wasn’t the real you. It was all show for the event and for this nebulous Alexander Valentine you were expecting to meet.” He waved the piece of charcoal in the air dismissively. “Black tie affairs are no less masked ball just because you can see peoples’ faces.”“True,” she said, plopping down in the chair. “My feet may never forgive me for those damn shoes.”“You’re real now.” He chuckled softly and looked down at the charcoal gripped delicately in his fingers. “Everyone’s a bit more real in the darkest hours of the night. And a lot more vulnerable.” He shuddered.“Nightmares, you mean?”He nodded, but then made a dismissive grunt. “I don’t sleep much.”“Dreams about what happened at the gallery?” She asked, slumping in the chair so that her feet hung over one arm and her shoulder rested low on the other.“Oh no,” He offered a flirty smile that surprised her. “If I’d been dreaming about that, the dreams would have been far from nightmares.” She felt his words like a caress, and a tingle ran down her body as though her skin were bathed in the expensive Champagne from the gallery’s party. “Then I’m sorry that you weren’t dreaming about the gallery.” “Me too,” he said, and then he flipped the sketchpad to a blank page. “Is it all right if I sketch you? Like you are now, I mean.”She nodded to the collection of female nudes tacked to a corkboard along one wall. “As long as I don’t have to take my clothes off.”This time his smile was positively wicked. “If you take off your clothes, woman, I won’t be able to concentrate on sketching at all, and I’m not really in the mood to discuss my self abuse problems right at the moment.”She laughed and shook her hair back over her shoulders. “Self abuse, oh pa-lease.” She shifted again to get more comfortable and the hoodie slipped down off her shoulder leaving her neck and clavicle exposed along with the swell of one braless breast. “Leave it,” he said, when she started to zip the offending garment a little higher. “I want to sketch your erogenous zones.” And fuck if it didn’t feel like he had just touched her there along the nape of her neck and traced a calloused finger over the her collar bone and down onto the top of her breast.” He chuckled knowingly at the trail of raising goose flesh along the path she had just imagined his hand following. “Did you feel that? My sketching you there?”“You have eyes,” came her breathless reply. Then she caught a little breath and shivered. “Jesus, how do you do that?”“There’s a connection between what I see and what I sketch. It’s a brain thing. That’s why people who are paralyzed from the neck down can still draw even without the use of their hands. But I think there’s a much bigger connection than simply exceptional hand-eye coordination. I think it’s the ability to translate into physical form what we perceive and how it affects us. I’ve read your books, Kelly. You do the same thing, only your vision is all internal, but it’s no less magic when you elicit the feeling you want in your reader.”She shivered again and her nipples hardened. “I’ve never made a reader feel this.” “Oh, I imagine you have,” he said. The look on his face was something beyond concentration, something very much like Kelly had seen in the eyes of lovers in good romantic films when they made love. “It’s a substitute for touch,” she managed in a breathless gasp.“Of course it’s a substitute for touch,” he said. “It’s the connection to the flesh that I’m no longer capable of having in the real world. It’s tactile voyeurism. It’s everything I can’t experience, but dream about.” He huffed out a little breath. “When I’m not having nightmares, that is.”“Jesus, That’s … that’s uncanny.” She was suddenly struggling not to squirm in the chair. “Do you do this with all your models?”“God no! Of course not. I don’t know them. They don’t know me. I … ” He stopped sketching for a second and looked around the room as though searching for the right words, and Kelly felt the disconnect as surely as if he’d been caressing her breast and then stopped. “I have no intimacy with them. When I sketch models for a given commission for which I have a deadline, I sketch them … I don’t know … once removed. It’s not personal. It’s a job. They do theirs, and I do mine, and it’s as if we’re all working with a barrier between us. Please don’t take this the wrong way, but I don’t feel that with you?” He began to sketch again and she leaned back and closed her eyes as the Champagne bubble feeling returned in force. She might have moaned. Just a little. And he might have done the same in return.“You know what you said about self-abuse,” she finally managed, struggling to breathe. He only grunted in reply, his hand moving at speed over the sketchpad, which he didn’t look at. His eyes remained locked on her.“Well, what happened at the apartment when we were together …”“There’s a connection, Kelly. That’s all I know. I know you aren’t the kind to take advantage. I knew that from what Dillon’s nephew said. You gave me the first true intimacy I’ve had since the accident. Does that sound like taking advantage to you?” He laid the charcoal down on the easel and began to stroke the sketch with his ring finger, blending and shading and she practically came out of the chair, the response of his touch was so strong. Her nearness to orgasm was startling and a little bit frightening.“Are you fucking feeling this?” she gasped. “How can this be? How can I feel what you’re doing on that sketchpad?”“Of course I’m feeling it. How could I look at you, at your response and not?”“Jesus, Lex. Jesus!” His eyes were on her but his finger still stroked the paper on the easel. “If you don’t stop.”“Do you want me to stop?” His voice cracked with the last word. From where she sat, she couldn’t tell if he had a hard-on, and though his voice was as tight and breathless as her own, he clearly wasn’t touching himself. One hand gripped the edge of the sketch pad and the other made strokes and circles on the paper, blending, shading, evening out the tone. She knew that, of course she knew that, so why the hell did it feel like what he was doing to a simple charcoal drawing, he was doing to her body? “Of course I don’t want you to stop,” she hissed, shifting against the phantom sensation of what she imagined his fingers were doing to the sketch of her. “Oh … Oh God! I definitely don’t want you to stop!”The room dissolved in the sound of heavy breathing and moans and grunts --some hers, some his, all blended together. In the beginning, she might have been posing on the chair, but the situation had devolved to the point that she could not have held still if her life depended on it, and there was no other word for what she was now doing in the chair but writhing. From behind the easel, Lex stood and gave the stool a hard shove, knocking it over with loud kathunk on the floor that resulted in a hissed curse. He mantled the sketch of her like a hawk over its prey. When she could focus through the growing fog of arousal, she saw that he once again sketched with the charcoal, his hand moving with a motion not unlike how she would want him to stroke her right now, with her so close. How she had fantasized about him stroking her since that night in the apartment, even though she tried not to. And she couldn’t keep from wondering if he were stroking the drawing there, right where she needed it. His other hand still rendered and smoothed and shaded and moved across her body, until the only thought she could hold in her head was the thought of his hands drawing her, drawing her, drawing her ever closer until she could stand it no longer, and then she arched her back. With a startled cry, she dragged a breath into her lungs as though it were her last. She tumbled out of the chair hitting the floor hard with her ass, bruising an elbow and thumping her head on the stone tiles as she convulsed and shivered, and the world dissolved into pinpoints of light behind her tightly clenched eyes. She heard the deep-chested groan followed by a hard thump from behind the easel and, when she opened her eyes again, he was on his knees beneath it, one hand cupped to the front of his shorts, the other braced against the floor as though he feared gravity would disappear and it would toss him into the void. His eyes were wide, darkened with lust and with, quite likely, the same look of shock mirrored in her own. His bare chest heaved and shuddered over and over again. Kelly couldn’t stop watching him, couldn’t take her eyes of the quiver of muscle, the sheen of perspiration, the clench of charcoal dusted fists, and for an instant, she wished like hell that she could draw him.

Do you trust me? Daryl devore's erotic contemporary fantasy - Capri's Fate on Friday Snippets #FridaySnippets

After a diet conscious meal, followed by a calorie-loaded dessert, we waited outside for a taxi. "Do you trust me?" With a goofy grin on her face, Kat's dark chocolate mellowed-from-too-much-wine, eyes gazed at me.Having seen that innocent demeanor before; it meant nothing but trouble. I was a bit wary. Okay, a lot wary! The last time she'd gawked at me like that and asked the same brainless question, we ended up at a frat house beer slosh during Homecoming and I wasn't in college anymore.

Another fantastic Liza O'Connor book - A Fortune to Die For #LizaO'Connor #humour #humor

Genre: Contemporary Mafia Suspense (with touches of humor)

Megan Clarke had a good life until she wins the Mega Times Lottery and discovers the prize comes with a curse. Worse than the many money-hungry suitors, a serial killer has her in his sight. She changes her name and moves to Iowa with plans to buy their last major forest of white oaks and turn it into a State Park. Unfortunately, the Lottery Curse doesn't stop at state lines and someone there wants her dead, as well. Good thing a disturbingly handsome law officer is just as determined to keep her alive.

Megan Clarke set the package on her kitchen counter with great care. “It’s probably nothing,” she chided herself. Opening a letter that came in the same mail delivery, she changed her mind as she read another threat to kill her. She hurried to the phone and hit her speed dial for the local cops. Her hands shook despite her mental self-assurances that everything was okay.
A female voice answered the phone. “Danville Police.”
Recognizing Margaret’s voice, she replied, “Hi, this is Megan. Is Sergeant Adams around?”
“No, he’s on vacation. You get another death threat?”
“Yeah, but there’s also a package. I know it’s stupid, but I’m afraid to open it.”
A heavy sigh sounded over the phone. “I swear, all your troubles since you won the lottery has made me afraid to even play scratch-offs. Hold on.”
Megan pushed her blond hair behind her ears. The craziest part about her winning the Mega Times Lottery was she never played games of chance—thought it a great waste of money. She had already become a millionaire by her own efforts. Why did she want to be richer? She had more than enough.
Then one day, while in a New York shop buying lunch, her friend, Terry, a bona fide lottery junkie, had insisted she buy a ticket. “It only cost a dollar. Stop being a miser!” Not wishing to argue, she passed the clerk a dollar. “Just give me a random number,” she instructed the fellow, then frowned as her friend filled out ten cards. “You do realize if I win, you have to take the money,” Megan warned.

So when the stupid ticket turned out to be the only winning number for a $987-million-dollar pot, all the bad luck stayed with her alone. Honestly, she wouldn’t wish her “new” life on a dog, nevertheless her best friend.
Since she was a financial expert, she took the $463 million upfront and invested half of it, planning to donate the other half to charities. Only problem was, whenever she delved into various charities, she didn’t like the way they used their money, so thus far, she’d only managed to give away a few million.
“Miss Clarke, I’m Detective Steve Williams,” a pleasant voice came over the phone. “How may I help you?”
“I received a package today. It has a name and address I don’t recognize.”
Complete silence answered her.
“Are you still there?”
“Yes, ma’am. I’m just a little confused. Marge said you had a letter threatening your life.”
“Yes. I have one of those, too. It doesn’t have a return address. Nor is it signed. But the letter and the package came in the same post.”
“So you think the package may be from the sender of the death threat?”
“This one or one of the hundred other angry letters I’ve received.”
“Mind if I stop by and take a look?”
Mind? Why did he think she was calling? If only Sergeant Adams were there. “I’d greatly appreciate it.”

She's Bad New and It's Bad Timing. Charming by Victoria Danann #paranormal #romance

by Victoria Danann
Official genre of book -Paranormal RomanceContent warning 18+

For six years the Exiled hybrids have lived in peace with humans, happily integrated and intermarrying, sharing education, technology, and culture. Despite his youth, Free’s youngest son, Charming, reluctantly stepped into the role of leader and proved formidable, commanding the respect of both hybrids and humans while uniting them in a single vision.
All was manageable until a string of human murders point to a hybrid killer. While Charming is in the middle of trying to keep the peace and maintain hard-won goodwill between species, Rosie shows up unexpectedly and leaves a young human female who is, apparently, on the run.
When Rosie disappears before Charming can find out how to get ahold of her, he finds himself with a city in crisis, the threat of a race war, and an unruly ward sporting lots of attitude. And a fetching body.

“So are you going to tell me why you’re here?” He looked at the large rolling bag parked by the front door. “Does it have anything to do with that?”
“Well, I do need a favor.”“You’re moving in.”
“No. Not me.”
“Okay. What is it?” He sat down on a couch.
“Can I sit?”
He made a gesture indicating that she could sit where she wanted. She sat on a large upholstered chair near where he’d parked himself on one of his sofas.
“There’s a girl who needs to disappear from Loti Dimension. She needs a place to stay.”
Charming nodded, waiting for her to go on. Then her meaning dawned on him.
“You mean with me!?! You want to leave some strange girl with me the way Kellareal left you with my family?”
“Yes. Exactly. Including the part that you may find her strange.”“No.”
“You can’t say no.”
“I sure as hell can say no. Let me reiterate. No!”
“You have room for a guest.”
“That’s my business.”
“I know. But it has to be you.”
“Why?”
“Because I trust you.” She could see that his adamant position weakened with that declaration. “And you have a spare room, what with being the grand poobah and all.”
She waved her hand in the air as if to indicate that he was overlord of the entire dimension.
“I know I’m going to be sorry I asked this, but what’s a grand poobah?”
“It’s the MAN, the big kahuna, the big giant head, yada yada.”“Was that supposed to convey information or make you sound unhinged?”
“Look. I have a distressed damsel in tow. She needs a place to be so as to avoid death and dismemberment, not necessarily in that order. You have a place for her to hide out. So what’s the problem?”
“What did she do?”
“She’s taking the Fifth.”
He shook his head. “Rosie…”
“That means don’t ask, don’t tell. If she’s guilty of something, you don’t need to know. If she’s not, what difference does it make?”
“What diff…? You’re not taking ‘no’ for an answer, are you?” Rosie cheered in direct proportion to Charming’s posture of defeat and resignation.
“No.”
“Okay. New subject. Where have you been? Why did you disappear? Why is it that the first time you’ve spoken to me since my brother died is to ask for a favor?”
“When you put it that way it sounds rude and inconsiderate.”
“That’s because it is rude and inconsiderate. My family loved you, felt close to you. How could you just forget all about us?”
“I didn’t forget all about you.”
“Could have fooled me.”“I’m sorry. I knew that facing you, and your family, would be painful. I guess I was thinking mostly about me.”
“But now you’re not.”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean, now you’re thinking about the needs of some stray human you picked up on the street in another world, right? Somebody you know nothing about. Am I right?”
“Yes. Right on all counts. She was terrified. You should have seen her. I didn’t care what she’d done. I just wanted to help her.”
“Well, that’s laudable. How have you been, by the way?”
“I got married. That’s the other reason why I haven’t been back. I didn’t know how you’d take it… my moving on. He’s the one I was taking a break from when I came here.”
“Oh.”
“I wandered around for five years. Then we got back together.”
“Oh.”
“Yeah.”
“So you’re happy?”
“Yes. How about you?”
“I’m… busy. I guess that’s the same thing as happy.”
“I don’t think busy is the same thing as happy, but if you’re not feeling unhappy, that’s good.”
“I missed you.”
“Missed you, too.” After a minute of silence, Rosie said, “So. Will you take her in?”
Charming sighed. “For how long?”
“Until you find another place for her to stay?”
His eyes widened. “You mean you’re leaving her with us permanently?”
“If she goes back, she’s dead. So, yeah.”
“Rosie, that’s not really a plan. Dumping somebody who doesn’t belong here. Do you really not see any problems with that?”“None that you can’t solve. You’re Charming!” She grinned. “You made me feel welcome and right at home from the very beginning. That’s why I know you’re the perfect solution.”
“But that was you! It was easy to make you feel welcome because you’re you!”
“I think that’s a compliment. So thank you.”
He huffed. “I’m trying to say that, asking me to room with some strange human… Well, you know how I feel about you, but it’s a lot to ask.”
“Okay. Let’s negotiate. What’s it going to take?”
“What?”
“Everything in life is a deal, Charming. What do you need in return for this favor in order to feel like you weren’t taken advantage of?”

A return to My Sexy Saturday with a snippet from the erotic medieval romance - Black Dorn #MySexySaturday #Saturday7 #MSS157

Welcome to the 157th week of My Sexy S2turday.This week’s theme: My Sexy Night Out
From my erotic medieval romance - Black Dorn Scene set - Branwyn's first date with Malack. Gon-dra means Heir to the Throne
Branwyn rose, looked up at Malack then gasped when he scooped her up and set her behind him on his horse. Reining it around, Malack urged his horse to trot across the grass. Tightly holding on around Malack’s waist, Branwyn reveled in the closeness of him. His back and arms felt strong and his scent made her head swirl. He slowed his horse near a creek, jumped off, and helped her to the ground. Again, she knelt and lowered her head. "Stand." He held out his hand. "We are alone." "I do not understand, Gon-Dra." She gripped his hand and let him assist her. "Call me Malack. Use my name. Not my birthright." He busied himself with his horse, loosening the reins and leading the animal to the river. While it drank, he opened a sack and pulled out a wineskin. He pulled out his knife, cut off a chunk of bread and cheese, then handed them to Branwyn. She accepted it then settled under a willow tree near the creek’s edge. He sat beside her and ate his meal. Finished with her lunch, she sipped her wine in silence, admiring the sound of the creek and the birds. With quick glances, she studied Malack. His eyes were the depth of some of the blue flowers in the garden. A faint scar marred his left cheek. His face was shorn of beard, but for the slight stubble of a new day’s growth. His features were pleasing--very pleasing--to her. "Tell me where you come from? What is your land--your people—like?" Why did his deep voice make her heart beat faster.

Oh crap, now I'm talking to my clothes - from Capri's Fate #FridaySnippets #eroticcontemporary

I tossed my Erotic Notions' purchases onto the high back chair in the corner, kicked off my shoes and dropped my clothes in a trail to the bathroom. What a weird night. What I need is a long, hot bath. I lit the scented candles on the ledge surrounding my tub, turned on the water and poured in some chamomile bath oil. Clicking on the sound system, I selected Bach in the Bath and turned the volume to low. Settling into the warm liquid luxury, I rested my head on my seashell shaped headrest and closed my eyes. "Ahhhh!"After my self-indulgent soak, I slipped into my pajama bottoms when my so-not-me purchases caught my attention. I bought a bustier. What was I thinking? A giggle threatened to escape my mouth. Removing it from bag, I skimmed my fingers over the ruby-colored silk feeling the firmness of the stiffening rods in the bodice. I traced my finger along the pattern of the black lace trim. Yikes. Look at all those hooks and clasps. The garters clinked as they swung together.Forget it. There's no way I can put this thing on. I poked a finger through each peek-a-boo hole. Oh, this is just too embarrassing. What was I thinking? I wasn't thinking. I was drunk.I tossed it onto the bed then stepped toward my dresser. Something red caught my attention in the mirror. I turned my head and watched the bustier slip off the bed.Hmph. Must have missed. I picked it up and dropped it on the duvet, then turned to get to my pajama top. The mirror's reflection arrested my gaze as again the rubicund, silk teaser slid over the edge of the bed and tumbled to the floor. What the…?I glanced down at the crimson pile. "Are you trying to tell me to put you on? Oh crap, now I'm talking to my clothes."
