is finished with Before They Are Hanged: Made the mistake of not re-reading the first book, so spent the first few hundred pages going, "Huh? Why are they doing this?"
It's a credit to Abercrombie that despite me having few memories of the first book, this one is immensely readable. Kind of meandering at times, but really engaging. Ninefingers's and Ferro's love story, ha, is particularly fun.
