"No one has the power to shatter your dreams unless you give it to them." That's Maeve Greyson's mantra. She and her husband of over forty years traveled around the world while in the U.S. Air Force before returning home to rural Kentucky.

Now that her day job at the steel mill is a thing of the past, Maeve spends her time spinning tales about her beloved Highlanders and the fearless women who tame them. When she’s not plotting the perfect snare, she can be found herding cats, grandchildren, and her husband—not necessarily in that order.

Description: A beguiling Scot from the 1400’s, Latharn Mackay is cursed into a crystal orb when a seductive witch rages against his withheld love. But hope’s not lost. The woman destined to win his heart can break the curse by whispering her love aloud while in the presence of the globe. There are just a few minor problems to overcome. Nessa is six hundred years in the future and Latharn can only visit her dreams with a silent presence. If he speaks, the curse will shatter his soul into bits. And then there’s still the matter of the vindictive sorceress. An enraged woman always has the final say…unless love proves more powerful.
The Highlander's Fury - Chapter One (Romance)
1 chapters   —   updated Aug 11, 2012 08:27AM
Description: The Highlander's Fury (ISBN 978-1-61217-021-3) from The Wild Rose Press A satisfying blend of saucy sensuality and heartrending sincerity. RT Book Reviews, 4 Stars An average day in the life of an immortal Fury? Flex powers. Locate evil. Administer justice. Until Ciara’s goddess mothers convince her to seduce a brooding mortal and bear the man a gifted child. All she has to do is swap places with his betrothed. A simple task−become the seductive wife, bear the man a child and train the young one in the Ways. Once the boy reaches seven years of age, they’ll swap her back with the wife Faolan thinks he selected and Ciara can resume her job of rousting wickedness from the world. Faolan MacKay’s advisors plague him daily about his matrimonial duties as laird, dragging prospects from across the Highlands: plump dowries attached to each one. Faolan’s lost everyone he’s ever loved. He’d rather go straight to the fiery pits of Hell than down the wedding aisle. Out of desperation, a plan takes seed. He’ll select a wife he can ignore. There’s just one problem with this foolproof theory. Nobody ignores Ciara. Against his better judgment, he’s enthralled with the woman and to Ciara’s surprise, this strange thing called love burns hotter than her hunger for vengeance. At the end of the seven years the ruse is up, all will return to as it was. Can the bond of love overcome the mandate of the ultimate powers?

Maeve Greyson RT Book Reviews gave BOTH of my upcoming releases 4 STAR REVIEWS!!! Here's a bit of what they said about each one:

THE HIGHLANDER'S FURY - A satisfying blend of saucy sensuality and heartrending sincerity.

ETERNITY'S MARK - A strong heroine, fantasy, a battle of good vs. evil, magic and romance --what more could you ask for?

I'm ecstatic with BOTH 4 star reviews! *happy sigh*

Maeve Greyson Woot!! You Gotta Read Reviews rated BEYOND A HIGHLAND WHISPER a "You Need To Read". *happy sigh*

Review :

I liked this book, because there was a twist to where Latharn was banished. He was banished to a pretty glass globe, which could react as he reacted. Nessa comes and saves him from his curse, and she must also destroy the evil witch. I loved all the characters. They were well rounded and believable. Ms. Greyson does a wonderful job telling a story and making the characters real and the story just flowed nice. The intimate scenes with Latharn and Nessa were hot but tender. Overall, a great read!

Maeve Greyson I'm so thrilled! Sizzling Hot Book Reviews gave BEYOND A HIGHLAND WHISPER 5 hearts! Here's the link:

http://www.sizzlinghotbooks.net/2011/...

And here's the "best" part of what they said:

So many questions clouded my mind as I read Beyond a Highland Whisper. Will Latharn be freed from his crystal prison? Will Nessa and Trish be safe from the evil witch and Gabriel? How will they defeat the evil? What will happen to Fiona and Brodie? Will they stay safe? And just when you think the happy ever after ending is in sight, the author surprises you yet again. The suspense in Beyond a Highland Whisper is taut and engrossing. I found it difficult to put the book down. I also found myself reading faster and faster, hanging on the author’s every word. The author captured the essence of the Scotland highlands and the flavor of the area. Beyond a Highland Whisper is an exciting and enthralling read. Make sure that you have a free weekend to read it; I guarantee that you won’t be able to put this one down easily.

Maeve Greyson BlackRaven's Reviews gave BEYOND A HIGHLAND WHISPER 5 Ravens!!

I always love a tale with a hunky highlander and Beyond A Highland Whisper is that much more dazzling since it has immortality, curses, and a sexy dream highlander. The story is cleverly written and will totally consume your thoughts from beginning to end. Ms. Greyson makes me wish for my own highlander…if only in my dreams…yum!

Rated 5 Ravens by Ashley!

Maeve Greyson I'm so excited to share my news!

Because of your votes and wonderful support in Round 1, I made it to Round 2 in Kensington Brava & RT Book Reviews Writing With the Stars contest. You probably heard my hearty Whoo Hoo echoing from the heart of my Kentucky woods.

I appreciate your time AND your patience with my stumping for votes!

Maeve Greyson Yes, I screamed...

If your windows rattled from an ear-splitting WHOO HOO from Kentucky, I admit it. It was me. I was so thrilled when I received the news, my happiness exploded.

Out of five hundred entries in the Kensington Brava / Romantic Times "Writing with the Stars" contest, I'M ONE OF THE TEN FINALISTS! At first, I couldn't breathe and I have to confess my heart still revs up a notch when I replay the editor's call in my head.

The contest will be launched in their November issue where our intros and photos will appear. Then my paranormal romance, Eternity's Mark will compete in five rounds of competition starting with the December issue of Romantic Times.

The winner will be announced at the Romantic Times convention and in their May issue. This could mean a publishing contract for Eternity's Mark if the judges like it and if the readers show their approval with a supportive vote.

I just have to remember to breathe...
