Travel Start To Finish 2 // It’s not to late to register for our Travel Start To Finish 2 workshop. In this awesome travel-themed workshop, Ali and four contributors will each be sharing their start-to-finish process for completing a travel album using our 2021 Travel Collection. This year, each of the ladies will be completing a different sized album: @aliedwards // plans to document a two-day camper van trip in a travelers notebook; @lindalovescreating // will be documenting six years worth of family trips to Cape Cod using a 6x8 album; @babz510 // will be documenting a recent family trip to Yosemite in a notebook-style album created from the craft envelope in the kit; @smultringunn // will be documenting a pre-kids trip to Utah/Nevada in the 3x8 album; @kimdocumentslife // is using the 9x12 album to document a recent family trip to Emerald Isle, NC. The Magic of Moments is a photography class built around this simple idea: you have the most intimate access to your life and the people in it, take the pictures no one else can. 12x12 Scrapbook Layout Using The Circle Scrapbook Kit
In today's Craft The Story video (Episode 27) I’m sharing how I used a 12 inch x 12 inch pattern paper from the new Circle Scrapbook Kit as a home for my story, photos, and embellishments.

When I'm designing these kits one of the things I have in mind is creating pattern papers that can be used as foundations/homes for your words, photos, and embellishments. Today I'm using one of the 12 inch x 12 inch patterned papers from the kit to hold the story of a recent fun overnight adventure with the girls. I love how the design foundation thinking has already been done and my job is to add my circle-punched photos, journaling, and a few embellishments to finish it off.
Keep in mind that you can totally cut down this paper to fit different sizes if 12 inch x 12 inch projects isn't your thing!

Ampersand (&) Story Kit + August 2021 Stories By The Month
This month we are focusing on stories related to the theme of Ampersand (&).
This month we are playing around with a piece of type that is one of my favorites: the ampersand. As we play with that as a design element we are also identifying + telling stories of the “and” space (as my friend Liz Lamoreux calls it): the space between where we feel multiple feelings all at the same time. Join us this month as we dive into ampersands.
Initial story ideas for this theme include:
Do you have an “and” story. You & me. Highs & lows. Pick one and tell it.
Ampersands can be the coolest shape. How can you incorporate one into a story you have on your heart right now?
Maya Angelou’s poem “Still I Rise” is all about continuing on + persevering. Tell a story about an “I rise” moment in your own life.

In today's

I'm still really enjoying this style of documenting - it feels like the perfect mix of storytelling + play that I need/want in my memory keeping right now.

Man I love that graphic alpha stamp in black on top of the map. So fun.
I printed out my journaling (sized to fit) and really liked adding it to a page that I cut smaller and added an Avery Index Tab along the edge (just like a different sized page insert I'd add into a ring album).
A fun pattern paper from the Circle Scrapbook Kit became a home for highlighting a couple memories.
My final spread today is based on an email my Mom sent recently when Anna was visiting (along with my sister and niece). Love the opportunity to bring in another voice.
