In this week’s video (Episode 04) Ali’s sharing a look at how she’s approached telling the story of a Day In The Life™ over the years from full scrapbook layouts, to inserts in Project Life, to mini books. AE Creative Team | January Stories By The Month™ Digital Kits
January is all about fresh starts and new beginnings and we love the way our Creative Team documented their stories using our January Stories by the Month™ Digital Kits.
Note: I n cased you missed Ali’s announcement in the Craft the Story™ Facebook group, we have made changes in the timing of our Stories by the Month™ Digital Kit releases and will not be offering any new DIGITAL kits in 2021. This will allow us to offer the digital version of the kit as add-on to the physical kit subscribers in 2022. Note that all of the existing Stories by the Month™ Digital Kits from 2017-2020 will remain in the shop for the time being.

Day In The Life™ 2021 | Collection Preview
The 2021
Day In The Life™ collection will be available this Wednesday, January 27th at 9am Pacific.
Day In The Life™ is a one-day documenting project that I embark on twice a year. It's an awesome entry point into everyday life storytelling that encourages you to focus on the basics of your life right now. I'm currently working on a video to share soon that takes a closer look at all the different ways I've done this project over the years from single page scrapbook layouts to including the story as inserts in Project Life to creating an album to hold the stories from the day.
This year the two story lenses I'm using are "around here" and "today I/we/you" and you'll see those themes reflected in the design of the cards in the kit.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR: The first documenting day for 2021 will be Tuesday, March 9th. The second documenting day will happen sometime in the second half of the year and I'll post about it here on my blog when we are ready to announce a date.
NEW ALBUMS: Along with the Day In The Life™ collection we will also be releasing a number of new albums tomororw and you will be able to include those with your purchase and take advantage of the shipping special. The new albums being added to the shop include the following:

Included in the 4x6 album is a DITL transparency, a kraft pocket, a plastic envelope, and 4x6 page protectors (holds both 4x6 and 3x4 items).
Love the idea of using this pocket to hold ephemera from the day such as notes or receipts.

Happy Friday, friends! This is Lisa, the new AE Social Media Community Manager. I'm so thrilled to be part of this team and excited to get started working with this amazing community. You'll probably see me pop up here from time to time, and we'll have a weekly date for In Case You Missed It. In Case You Missed It is a weekly round-up of news and links that will be posted every Friday afternoon over in the Craft The Story Facebook Group, as well as here on the blog. The community is comprised of incredibly inspirational and supportive memory keepers and I have personally gained so much from being a member.

Please note: 6x8 page protectors will be restocked next month and are not included in this shop update. Also coming next Wednesday is the 2021 Day in the Life™ release. An album bundle, and other shop items will available. More information will be provided as we get closer to the date. Ali would love to invite you to join her in documenting her first DITL project this year on Tuesday, March 9th. Ali's next video in her Craft the Story™ YouTube Series is live. In this week’s video (Episode 03) Ali’s sharing a look at how she uses albums as homes for her stories. She’s also including a closer look inside a few of those albums. Find it here. In our lives we all have stories of action taken and not taken, of striving, and of putting one foot in front of the other. This month we are telling stories about taking action - from the past + present and using this opportunity to look ahead to future action as well.
Initial story ideas for this theme include:
What does hard work look like to you? How do you “take action” in your work or home life? One foot in front of the other is one of my favorite phrases. Detail a story where you adopted that mantra in your life.
Sometimes taking action is about stopping something in order to start something else. Can you think of a time in your life where that was the case? Tell me that story.
