The Memory Keeper - description
Charity Evans wants nothing more than to leave her troubled past behind and start afresh. The teacher at a London school for orphans is encouraged to have her memories blocked by hypnotist Samuel Gladstone, but when they experience visions with an unknown third person, they realize the past can never be truly erased.
Now her past is returning to haunt Charity all over again.
Samuel is determined to help her, but how can a woman who trusts no man trust a hypnotist? And what dark secrets changed the charming gentleman into a desperate man who’ll do anything to keep those secrets buried?

The 1st Cadbury Easter eggs were made in 1875. The earliest Cadbury chocolate eggs were made of dark chocolate with a plain smooth surface and were filled with drags (small piece of confectionary like a sugared almond). The earliest decorated eggs were plain shells enhanced by chocolate piping and marzipan flowers.

From "Seared With Scars"
This snippet from the 2nd Freak House Trilogy is Charity’s opinion of Samuel when she sees him leaning against the wall:
I’d grown used to him not wearing a waistcoat or jacket, yet seeing him in just his crisp white shirt and trousers took my breath away. His tie was loose, revealing a triangle of smooth skin at his throat that I could have stared at all day. If angels were real, they would resemble Samuel at that moment. Or perhaps he was a fallen angel since an air of brooding darkness clung to him.
