Since Leigh Bardugo got my ass in gear today with her #BAYMTGO writing sprints (seriously, my draft of White Queen went from 35% edited to 56% edited in the course of three hours), I figured it was finally time to stop beating around the bush and finally draw some Grisha Trilogy fan art. Thank you so much, Leigh!
I’ve always been really fascinated with Alina’s mirror gloves, but I need to think a little bit harder to get their design figured out - this is just a sketch I cranked out. I also don’t have Alina’s design down yet either. I definitely picture her with different, more narrow features than the way this came out. And keftas. Heh, keftas. Basically when I draw more fan art for this series, you can expect it to look completely different from this.

Neat! Now I kind of want to have a chat about the gloves. And maybe get some made. Because, you know, necessities.

So this writing thing, that means we'll share our progress, right? That means you'll share some R&R stuff right? RIGHT??? :)
Oh, I’ve been done with Ruin and Rising for a while. That baby is in copy edits.
People usually post their wordcounts, but progress can mean anything—how you’re feeling, what’s working or not working, a line you’re feeling brilliant about.
(I’m usually very uptight about sharing lines from a WIP. In fact, it freaks me the hell out, but look at Nick Miller up there. He wants you to go on with your bad self.)
