1. I think it’s fair to say that not everyone loves the Darkling. But as for my fictional crushes… they’re rare. I’m going to go with
Lymond from Dorothy Dunnett’s Lymond Chronicles
Sean Kendrick from Maggie’s Stiefvater’s The Scorpio Races
Raistlin from the Dragonlance books by Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman (though that was when I was 13 and who knows if that crush would hold up on reread)
and yeah, Jaime Lannister although I think I prefer to love him from afar
2. Hogwarts and Ingary.
3. My typical day usually involves a lot of revenge, some howling, and a nap in the sun.

When Ruin and Rising releases, will you do a signing session in Los Angelos?
Oh yes. Yes indeed.
But it is not just a signing.
It is a party.
With champagne.
And treats.
And prizes.
And sometimes people in costume.
But if you don’t want to wait until June to see my face (WHY WOULD YOU??) I’ll be at the Burbank Public Library (Buena Vista Branch) on February 5th at 7pm.
I’ll be talking a bit about inspiration and if enough people there are caught up on the series and interested, imma read a little bit from Ruin and Rising.

Hi! I'm so happy you're into GoT/ASoIaF as well! Would you be willing to share with us who some of your favorite characters are? :) Thanks and have a nice day!
IT’S LIKE I CAN ACTUALLY FEEL MY FANGIRL HEART ENGAGE.
And to be clear, I will gladly talk GoT/ASoIaF anytime, anywhere.
My favorites are Arya, Jaime, and Brienne. (When Jaime and Brienne dueled on the bridge last season, I had what I can only describe as a minor breakdown. I was in Sarah’s living room and I just let my friends laugh at me and pat me gently as I curled up and repeated, “I forgot. I forgot how much I love this.” It wasn’t dignified. Also, as I’ve mentioned before, I’ve been on that bridge!)
I have a soft spot for Gendry too and I’m glad the series kept him in the story last season because I’m hoping it indicates he’ll return to the books with some prominence.
I’ve also really come to love Sansa and seeing her in the trailer made me just desperate for the next book (I know, I know) because I am so curious to see who she becomes.
(And y’know who I never liked in the books, but who I can’t get enough of on the show? Tywin. That rotter.)
I hope my fellow GoT fans will un-anon themselves so we can geek out together this season. Show yourselves! Let’s be friends!

Finished adding color to my Shadow and Bone piece. I know I shouldn’t, but I love the Darkling. He’s such a great antagonist! The book series wouldn’t be the same without such a great balance and fight between him and Alina.
