Sarah liked a quote
War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy
“They were moved by fear or vanity, rejoiced or were indignant, reasoned, imagining that they knew what they were doing and did it of their own free will, but they all were involuntary tools of history, carrying on a work concealed from them but comprehensible to us. Such is the inevitable fate of men of action, and the higher they stand in the social hierarchy the less are they free.”

“The thing about families, Arlo thought, was that there was always some question nobody wanted to answer for you, and it was like a stray thread pulling loose in a sweater. You could tug at it all you wanted, but in the end, all you'd have was a pile of twisted yarn.”
Sarah Sullivan, All That's Missing

“...it was hard sharing the person you loved with a stranger.”
Sarah Sullivan, All That's Missing

“They travel through the heartland, past cold factories and drifty towns, to the old, old mountains slumbering east of Tennessee.”
Sarah Sullivan, Passing the Music Down
