Wayback Wednesday +2

So I'm a couple days late, but this week's Wayback Wednesday book is Three Day Passes. Although the jarheads probably need no introduction -- here's the blurb on Three Day Passes. (These guys, btw, started out life as a porny one off short story.)

What happens when an ammunitions expert brings a baby green marine home for his own personal redneck? Sex. Lots and lots of sex. Three Day Passes explores the beginning of the relationship between Sargeant South, Private Main and Alex ''Rigger'' Roberts.

Dick, Rock and Rigger spend their time and energy on the important things -- good beer, good sex, good friends and the occasional game of Truth of Dare, while dealing with the mundane (and not so mundane) complications of living the military life.

For the trading cards I mentioned on Monday -- instead of picking three winners, I decided to send anyone who'd already gotten their address into me a set. I'm hoping to get them all out into the mail early next week.

Also, I'm over on [info] torquere_social today.

My God It's Monday

Just got some Jarheads trading cards -- one each for Rig, Rock and Dick -- and they look great. Send me an email with your snail mail addy included by noon tomorrow and I'll randomly pull three folks and send them each the set of three cards. (seanmichaelwrites @ gmail . com)

It's October next week already -- Halloween month. I must admit, I do enjoy Halloween. It's probably my favorite holiday. So I've got to do something to celebrate it, right? Not to mention what would make Mondays better? How about a contest for free ebooks? I'm going to be doing a contest every Monday for the month of October of my paranormal titles. Then on Fridays in October I'll be celebrating the end of the week with contests on my twitter (seanmichael09). Look for that starting next week!

There's just a few days left to get your name in for daily giveaways and the Lucky 8 Ball Contest from Torquere Press to celebrate 8 years. If you haven't checked it out yet, go here before September 30!

I might kick off early today and go get my beer now...

Old Ghosts, a Jarheads story now out.

I was very pleased to be able to write a Charity Sip again this year. Also, following tradition, it's another Jarheads story.

When Rig's past shows up to haunt him, his marines, Rock and Dick know just what he needs. Their night out might end sooner than expected, but Rig likes it better when they stay in. Featuring the Bestselling Jarheads characters.

You can find it here or here.

My review of PD Singer's Charity Sip is here. From there you can leapfrog to all the reviews in the 'review reach around.'

You can buy all the Charity Sips here for a discount.

Here's the page with all the official information about the charity sips.

Or you could buy them from our Title Sponsor -- Rainbow Ebooks.

Rock snorted. "I'm sure you can, but we agreed to share dessert, so I'll wait. Now come on in before the two of you get arrested for being lewd and indecent in public."

"You ever notice that when he's kissing it's kink, and when it's us, it's lewd?" Rig winked at Dick, slowly backing away and heading up the stairs.

"Uh-huh," Dick sounded distracted and when he turned back it was to find his Pretty checking out his ass.

He grinned, wiggling a little, just because.

Lucy and the twins were raising a ruckus, happy that they were home, yipping and barking up a storm.

"Hey, y'all! How's it going?" He bent down and greeted them all, patting and murmuring.

Dick made a noise and then was rubbing up against him, hands on his waist keeping him from tipping over.

"Oh..." He moaned, "Pretty, yes."

"We gonna let the dogs watch?" Dick asked, voice husky and amused.

"You're gonna scar them for life," Rock noted, coming out of the kitchen.

"Lucy's an old thing; we gave her all her grey hairs." He grinned as the twins pounced his Blue.

Rock growled, but pet them, loving on them both.

"Marshmallow," Dick whispered into his ear.

"Mmmhmm." He startled himself, eyes filling with sudden tears. "Ours."

He spun and pushed back into Dick's arms, taking a hard, needy kiss. Dick fed a startled noise into his mouth, but those hands wrapped around him, pulling him closer. In a moment Rock was pushing up behind him, arms wrapping around him and Dick. He pushed into the kisses, moaning low, needing them, letting them love him.

Rock's prick was hot and hard against his ass, Dick's a match against his belly. Whimpering, he rocked between them, hands pushing up Dick's shirt, searching for skin.

Getting Better -- Training Cats by PD Singer

Torquere Press' Charity Sips are coming this weekend and as a part of it this year, we're reviewing each other's stories.

I'm reviewing Training Cats by PD Singer

Review:

In Training Cats Brent is growing disillusioned with his relationship with the handsome Tyler. They moved in together a while ago and things have been going downhill ever since. Turns out that while Tyler is a gorgeous hunk, he's not a very nice man at all. He's pretty much a user and for a while Brent seems content trying to train that out of him. When Brent finally clues in that Tyler is just not going to change, no matter how many chances Brent gives him, he's lucky enough that there's someone who's been in his life for a while who is everything that Taylor isn't.

It's very easy to dislike Tyler, and while I felt bad for Brent, I also wanted to bang him over the head and tell him to kick Tyler to the curb already. My favorite character was Evan, the man in the background who quietly does nice things for Brent, a slow and subtle seduction. I really appreciated the fact that Evan didn't tell Brent what to do, or try to convince Brent that Tyler was a jerk; he trusted that eventually Brent would figure it out.

While I would have liked to have more of Brent and Evan's relationship in this story, it certainly leaves room for a sequel and the story definitely follows the theme of getting better.

PD Singer's review of a Charity Sip:

Training Cats will be out tomorrow. (Along with the other Charity Sips including my Old Ghosts, a Jarheads story)

two new books out!

I have two new books out today:

What happens when a besieged and rather small dragon comes to a vampire and says, "I need your help." Or when that vampire comes to a werewolf and says, "I have a job for you." The vampire goes and builds a resort for things that go bump in the night, of course. Riding the wave of Julia Talbot's Bloodrose series, the multi-author Cereus: Building features paranormal romance from three of Torquere Press' most-loved authors. The stories move from vampire Jonny's city club to a new luxury getaway in the woods of the Pacific Northwest, where pleasure and pain are the name of the game.

Julia Talbot's It's Elemental features construction contractor Chayton, a werewolf who thinks demon decorator Kenny is a little fussy, and a lot hot. They argue about everything from feng shui to sex. Will they be able to resolve their differences? The Third Course, by BA Tortuga tells the story of Marco and Stephan, werecats, brothers, and chefs who meet their match in head-bartender Faelan, who just happens to be a growly, sexy Top. Finally, Sean Michael's Smoke and Gold follows the head dominant of the club, Zee, who's dealing with trying to get his playrooms just so, and trying to figure out maddening dragon Daniel at the same time. Who can resist loving a dragon?

Buy it here.

And join me, Julia and BA for a release party at the romance studio -- a free kindle will go to a random commentor!

James, Guard, and Damien are back, still running their resort, where every fantasy, no matter how perverse, may come true. The three men continue working out the bumps in their threesome, but when it comes to their clients, they're a well-oiled machine. Which works perfectly for the three new couples arriving in paradise.

Cameron is losing his sight, and he knows that he'll be useless once it goes completely. He's cashed in everything to leave his life behind for one last fling. Xander is on the island for a fantasy, too. He's looking for someone to love on, someone to care for and Cameron seems to be the perfect match, but can they make it work?

As a writer, Ben always writes the script, which is why his fantasy is to give up control. He thinks his fantasy can't be fulfilled, so he settles in for a relaxing vacation on an island paradise instead. Is he really as safe as he thinks he is?

Finally, Leo is a consummate Top, always wanting better his technique. He wants to know what it's like to be a sub, but it won't be easy for a Dominant to bottom for five days. Leo will do his dead level best to measure up; his only worry is who the boys chose to be his fantasy Top…

Like Tuesday for Monday

Somehow I looked and it wasn't Monday anymore...

I have two books coming out tomorrow -- Three More Wishes, which is the sequel to Three Wishes. Three new couples with their fantasies and more of James, Guard and Damien. I have a story in Cereus: Building, which comes out of Julia Talbot's Blood and Roses series of books, and Julia and BA Tortuga also have stories in the book.

There is in fact a release party for it tomorrow at www.theromancestudio.com/party/ There will be excerpts and chat and fun and contests. The big prize is a kindle!

On Saturday the Charity Sips come out. This year's charity is the It Gets Better project. My story is again in the Jarheads world: When an old ghost haunts Rig, his marines know just what to do.

Isn't it funny how Tuesday is almost a Monday on a long weekend...

I'm one of the participating authors for Torquere Press' Lucky 8 Ball Anniversary Contest which has some great prizes, including a Kindle as prize for the big scavenger hunt.

There's a book trailer here for Cereus: Building, coming September 14, with stories by Julia Talbot, BA Tortuga, and me.

What happens when a dragon asks a vampire who owns a nightclub for a little help keeping his property safe? The vamp decides to build a resort for all sorts of things that go bump in the night, of course. Building on Julia Talbot's Bloodrose series, Cereus: Building moves from the city to a luxury getaway in the woods of the Pacific Northwest. With stories from Sean Michael, Julia Talbot and BA Tortuga, Cereus brings together werewolves and werecats, vampires and demons, all working to build a place where their kind can play the kinds of games they love best.

My story is Smoke and Gold, featuring Daniel the Dragon and Zee the Demon as they stomp and growl and snarl at each other in the best way possible. (They were so much fun to write.)

Also coming September 14 is the follow up to Three Wishes. This one is called Three More Wishes and features more of James, Guard and Damien, as well as three new couples and their fantasies: a man splurges on one last fantasy before he goes blind, another man gets kidnapped, and a third is a Top who wants to become better at his craft by submitting.
